Who is Actuall Mentally Ill? (Part 2) |
Okay. We've dispensed with the purported 'fact' that an atheist, you
know: those 'know-it-alls' who don't believe that Jesus of Nazareth
created the universe - are not necessarily 'mentally ill' because their
unbelief. Right-wing Christians are the ones who win the lunacy
award - hands down! But what about the person who believes that
the universe could not have *possibly* have come into existence on
its own - and therefore, atheists *must* be mentally 'deficient' because
of their pig-headed refusal to accept the 'truth' that God (not the one
in the bible - or so they say) created the
universe and everything in it? Well are atheists mentally ill for not
accepting the ID (meaning the IC) 'theory'? Well the term 'mentally
ill' is pretty harsh. How about mentally 'challenged' instead?
Now as for that 'IC' who created the universe. Who is more mentally
'challenged'? The Christian who maintains they're not *really* espousing
anything religious when espousing their ideas concerning God ... oops,
I mean ID? And who insist that they are basing their arguments based
purely on science - but have none to back them up. And who go around
calling 'real' scientists 'communists' (or worse) because the scientists
reject their non-science. And who insist that if there is no God ... oops,
I mean an IC, mankind is doomed to fall into a state of depravity
heretofore never experienced. And who maintain that God ... oops, I mean
a 'Supreme Intelligence' created us for a purpose which we are not
'spiritual' enough to comprehend?
Or
The atheist who walks up to that person and says, 'You know what?
You haven't got a shred of evidence to back up any of your assertions? So
why
don't you wait until the scientists find *something* to support you
assertions
*scientifically* before you go around telling the world that what you
believe
is 'true,' all the while teaching it to children who don't know any better?
I ask you.
