I suggest that unless anyone is really interested in the opinions and the
squawkings of this Yang cretin, that he be simply ignored. Clearly he has
been hurt by something or other in his life and feels the need to verbally
ejaculate all the shallow generalizations to whomever would hear him so that
he can feel proud of himself since probably few others are. For him to
elevate himself to judge of Star Wars newsgroup and speak of morality is
utterly meaningless and only affects his own sad life or those who allow
themselves to be affected by the words a childish little menace. Such a
person cannot be reasoned with much less can he come up with some kind of
moral obligation for others from his own "conservative" view. (as opposed to
his self-flattering designation of neo-con).

What I see is that there is a real Satan who would love for your soul to be
eternally destroyed (since he is doomed, he plans to take as many humans as
possible with him)
What better more cunning way to do this than to infiltrate churches and get
weak people to commit such crimes. That way, people like yourself can post
topics like this and discredit the legitamecy of all of Christianity and
portray all Christians as immoral fools.
Yes, there is much wrong with the so-called leaders of Christianity and many
so called Christians - but that is only because it is a plot by the ruler of
this world (Who is Satan) to get people to scoff at the very generous offer
of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
You've been warned.

Vastly more so than the population at large. A recent poll shows that
professors, being more intelligent and informed than the general
population, are 8-to-1 more likely to vote Democrat relative to GOP. A
Scientific American survey of National Acamedy of Science members
showed that 95% do not believe in a Biblical-type God. A majority of

You can find anecdotal exceptions for eveything, but you need to ask
yourself, is the 6.88* felony incidence likelihood ratio between the
most conservative, religious profession and the most liberal,
nonreligious profession merely a statistcial blip, or is something
really rotten in Denmark?
*ie. a randomly selected memeber of the clergy is 6.88 times mroe
likely to be convicted of a serious felony than a randomly selected
professor/graduate student.

You see, here's a common misconception. Academicians do not vote
liberal because they are more educated, intelligent, or informed. They
vote that way because they do not live in the real world. They all have

Obviously you didn't get your "advanced degree" in common sense.
Surveys consistently show that professors are more liberal than the

What lie? Clinton said the EXACT SAME THINGS ABOUT IRAQ and signed the
Iraq Liberation Act into *law* - that made it the policy of this
government to depose Saddam. It isn't a lie if not only YOU think it's
the truth, but Iraq CLAIMED it was. So did pretty much everyone else at
the time.
*****. the UN, the IAEA BOTH disagreed with AWOL in 2003. And,
surprise! unlike AWOL's cheery-picked info, they turned out to be
correct.
Actually, no the UN didn't *disagree*. They'd said the same things that
Bush did in the past, but the French were bought off.
So, where's that WMD again, *****?
Ask the world's intel services.
True. but any other surveys of professors will show that they are far
less religious than the general population at large.
Which surveys would those be?
If you're in school, as you claim you are, you can look it up on Lexus
Nexus.
I'm not in school. I'm long out of school.
I can't really expect you to be "intelligent and informed" being what
you are.
What, an educated engineer with an MS?
Oh wait, let me pull this out from the JCS hypocrisy file:
I'm not the one claiming that holding an advanced degree is some
evidence of intelligent choices in voting. You are.
"What YOU don't understand is that being trained in a particularly
field doesn't make your opinions in any other field more valid."
So, what's YOUR field again? I've asked several times.

Actually, the UN rightly called AWOL's WMD claims *****.

Oh, I get it. So the fact that you "not yet" have a PhD might perhaps
have something to do with the fact that you're, hmm, let me guess,
"long out of school"?
What were you expecting? That you "not yet" have a PhD but one day the
magic PhD fairy might one day show up, sprinkle some magic
dissertation dust, and you would miraculously have a PhD even though
you're "long out of school"?

I am, and you apparently agree with me, given the fact that you think
your pedigree as "an educated engineer with an MS" makes you
"intelligent and informed".
"What YOU don't understand is that being trained in a particularly

Let me pull this outof the JCS idiocy file:
"I'm willing to bet you don't have a degree of any type in any field."
Well, how much are you willing to bet? Put up or shut up.

You really ought to read up a bit more on current events - especially
concerning the reasons for the sanctions, who imposed them, and just
what that last UN sanction against Saddam was over.
I'm not in school. I'm long out of school.

Compared to you, certainly. At least based on your behaviour so far.

The sanctions didn't work: re: The Oil For Food Scandal and the fact
that Iraq NEVER complied with the ceasefire and NEVER proved they'd
destroyed the weapons they'd ADMITTED they had.
The sanctions were intended to force Iraq to comply, not to keep them
from building more.

Where's your brain? Iraq STATED they HAD WMDs. Of course, you're
ignorant of history.

The two aren't comparable. You'll nevrer be drafted by the NFL, but I
can apply to any PhD program in my field of study I desire - when I
desire to do so.

"Mission Accomplished" as in the full-scale ground campaign was over and
the Iraqi government had fallen.
