WHY?

The morals of the Koran and the social customs of Iraq are psychotic. =
There was an article in Time magazine that told of the story of a girl =
who was raped, and her family blamed her for the rape, so perverted is =
the mind of those Moslems. The family clamed they were humiliated by the =
rape and therefore must kill their teenage daughter as an honor killing, =
and the parents are not charged. Before marriage, a girl must go to a =
forensic clinic and submit to an examination to see if she is a virgin. =
If not, some families will kill her. This barbaric behavior no doubt =
comes from the ancient past. This is what happens when you use ancient =
beliefs as a guide for contemporary times.=20
There is very little that is worthwhile from early Christianity that is =
useful in contemporary times. This is the reason that Christian =
fundamentalism sounds schizophrenic today. Where do our morals come from =
you ask? from SECULAR HUMANISM!
There was a time in the later part of the nineteenth century that =
certain parts of the bible were too pornographic to print and against =
the law. What changed? Why can those offending passages be shown today? =
SECULAR HUMANISM!
