This site is extremely good. http://whydoesgodhateamputees.com
Apologies if it's already been discussed, but a quick search of this

That is indeed an interesting website. The author is correct when stating
that over 80% of the US is brainwashed under the illusion of an organized
belief system. And that statistic needs to change.
I have learned that debating with religous types is almost impossible. Even
with obvious irrefutable proof, they just balk and cliam it is some sort of
lie. Over 80% of the US has thier heads all messed up and it is illegal for
phsycologists to address it as such. Yes, we do have the freedom to
believe what we want in this country, and thats wonderful. However, just
becuase we have such freedoms, it does not automatically make those beliefs
correct. The freedom in and of itself is whats correct. As it has been
said before many times, scientific discovery is not democratic. It reveals
what it reveals regardless of what people believe. And when it comes to
'complicated' so therefore god did it, that is intellectually LAZY. At one
point, 2+2 was an incredibly complicated concept, look how far we've come.
So what can we do to prevent the spread of this 'mindvirus'?

You don't wear boxing gloves to a gun fight, and you don't
fight whack jobs using logic.
The right-wing has been telling the left this for years, and
the left (well, anyone "left" of the right-wing anyhow) has
steadfastly refused to listen.
You fight intellect with intellect. You fight emotions with
emotions.

The author is correct when stating
that over 80% of the US is brainwashed under the illusion of an
organized belief system.

80%?
Did you watch the first few minutes of that video, the link that has
been posted here twice now, with Kirk Cameron and another individual
whose name escapes me (probably for the better)? They eventually boil
down what must be the Christian take on the issue, that the percentage
of America that is atheist lies around 4%.
Yah, right! Where did they arrive at this figure? They must not be
counting the admitted agnostics, unadmitted atheists, or claimed
"non-religious" - those who checked the "none" box on the last US
Census. (OK, flame me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember if there was a
religion choice on the last census.) The figure I seem to encounter the
most is around 15% non-religious. If you add in the Islamic factor, the
Jewish factor, the Hindu factor, and the un-Christianized American
Indian factor, I'm wondering if the non-Christian percentage in the USA
would be below 25%? Now take that remaining 60% and divide it about a
hundred ways among the diverse and contradictory Christian cults and
sects, and what do you have? Perhaps the largest group of people who all
believe the same nonsensical ***** whould be the Catholics, closely
followed by the Protestants, then the Baptists. What do you think the
largest majority could be? 20%? 30%?
Just curious...

And what Protestants would that be? They have the highest number of
schismas of every other religion, you can't even count them as one group.

What do you think the
largest majority could be? 20%? 30%?

Just curious...

No. Its not allowed on the census forms.
Any number of polls over this decade show
Atheists and non-believers at least 10%
of the US population.
Secularists, no religion, and similar seem
to boost the over all numbers to about 14%.
