Why does the god only let Noah and his family escape from the flood?
Because *every* single baby, every single toddler, every single pregnant
woman, every single mentally ill individual, most of the animals and insects
on planet earth were 'evil', and 'God', who himself ultimately 'created'
this evil was sick and tired of evil becoming the 'way of the world' back
then. Now the fact that 'God' created evil and let a supernatural evil
entity 'rule' and run roughshod over the planet seems not to have affected
God's 'judgement' in *having* to destroy his creation. He had no choice but
to murder everyone and practically everything to make sure the planet was
'cleansed'; made free of evil. That he forgot to 'murder' his 'creation',
Satan, in the process must simply have been a slight oversight on his part.
(Murdering almost every living thing on a planet will do that to a perfect
deity.)
Noah and his family escaped being murdered because they were 'perfect'. That
is to say, they weren't human. (*Nobody's* 'perfect', right?)
Is Noah really kind?
Why sure. *He* didn't kill anybody. 'God' did all the murdering all by
himself. Noah *wuvved* animals. 'God' apparently had a problem with most of
them. He *did*, after all, needlessly kill a whoooole lot of them for no
good reason. But then again, he *is* a 'God' of 'love'. He just has a
strange -- and lethal -- way of showing it.
And why the the ship was made of ark?
Well it wasn't exactly made of 'ark'. It was made of 'make-believe'.

If God specifically saved Noah et al because they were the only 'good
people on earth, how did Noah distinguish between the 'evil' animals
and the 'good' animals? How did he know which ones to save?

Goddy chose them - they all walked into the ark. All the little
bacteria, viruses, fish, plants ... they all walked into the ark.
And Goldilocks DID eat the porridge.

Hon, it's just a story. Nothing to worry your little head over.

I guess not everyone in Taiwan is fed this nonsense with their
mothers' milk. I think Candice's questions were legitimate.
