Why Is This Guy Still In Charge Of The UN? |
Is there anything Kofi Annan could say that would get him booted? Maybe if
he voiced support for George W. Bush?

Go ahead, ignore Hezbollah, see what happens. That kind of thing worked
so well for Bush in the spring of 2001. rofl

Annan is a liberal, a communist and staunchly anti-American. He will never
lose his job with these credentials.

Depends on what you call an Indian newspaper, for example:
Look at this:
http://www.dowjones.com/Pressroom/PressReleases/Other/US/2004/0122_US_TheWallStreetJournal_8522.htm
NEW YORK & NEW DELHI, INDIA (Jan. 22, 2004) — Dow Jones & Company,
publisher of The Wall Street Journal, and Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.,
publisher of the Times of India and The Economic Times, announced today
an agreement on a joint venture to publish The Wall Street Journal for
India. The venture would publish the Journal five-days-a-week, edited
for global Indian business readers and international business travelers,
drawing on the newspaper's global content.
Or look at this other:
http://www.mediauk.com/article/16599
BBC arm buys half of Bennett Coleman unit
Our Corporate Bureau / New Delhi November 20, 2004
Worldwide Channel Investments Ltd is picking up a 50 per cent stake in
Worldwide Media Ltd (WWML), a fully owned subsidiary of Bennett, Coleman
& Co, the publisher of Times of India and The Economic Times newspapers,
for Rs 38.95 crore.
As per the investment proposal, which has been cleared by the government
today, WWML will issue fresh shares up to 50 per cent of its equity
shares to Worldwide Channel Investments at a premium.
Worldwide Channel Investments is a fully owned company of BBC Worldwide,
a fully owned subsidiary of British Broadcasting Corporation.

We are? Funny, I was sure that the Iraqis were getting paid in Euros and

Are you sure it's the US stealing Iraqi oil?

I guess we should change the subject to "Why Is This Guy Still In
Charge
Of The US?" I'm sure Maaxx would agree.
Well, Kofi doesn't exactly have clean hands either appparently. He
seems to be in up to his eyeballs in the abuse of the Iraqi
Oil-for-food
program.
It's funny to hear that when the US it's *stealing* all the Iraq oil.
We are? Funny, I was sure that the Iraqis were getting paid in Euros and
that the oil was going to Europe....when it wasn't being burned in Iraq
for power, or turned into local gas....or being blown up by insurrgents.
Are you sure it's the US stealing Iraqi oil?
Just lost 8 billion of their oil money is all.

Uhmmm, no. The accusation was against his son.
But about the time the far right hate campaign against
Kofi was beingginned up a report came out that fingered the
big american oil companies as being the cuplrits who were
illegally pouring money into Saddam's hands. the right winger
***** monkies were demanding Kofi quit for what his son had done,
but with companies doing far worse that had poured vast wealth into
the GOP, the ***** monkey chatter dies down.
