WingNutDaily promoting cult archeology again |
WingNutDaily has an 'exclusive' (it's basically just a long ad) for
some book called "The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse",
which proposes that the Nephilim of Genesis 6:4 built the pyramids.
And here I thought the pyramids were a joint project between the
Atlantians and aliens from Zeta Minor. Silly me. ;-)
From the article:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A unique book that purports to explain the past existence of giant
beings referred to in the Bible as the Nephilim is skyrocketing up
online best-sellers lists, now appearing in the top 20 at Amazon.com.
Published by Xulon Press, "The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the
Apocalypse" presents an explanation for an unusual verse in the first
book of the Bible, Genesis 6:4, which reads: "There were giants
(Nephilim) in the Earth in those days, and also after that, when the
sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and they bare children
to them."
The book's author, Patrick Heron, says on his website that his is the
only first in-depth book to throw light on the mysterious Nephilim and
"to provide evidence of who built the pyramids of Egypt and Mexico and
other great monuments of ancient history."
In the introduction of the hot-selling work, Heron delves into the
history of the pyramids and other fascinating structures that have
proven "astronomical significance" – facts that have been written
about before.

The projects were subcontracted out to jobers using illegal Latino
(Mayan) laborers. That why they came in at cost and on time.

Note: the illegal Latino laborers in the USA are the hardest working
people in this country. Our agricultural and service economies would
fail without them, IMO. JN

I particularly like the fact that the lengths of sides of
the pyramid in cubits are *exactly* the length of a year
in days - provided you "start" with the standard cubit
length of 25.025 inches!
(for the record, the cubit was never a particularly accurate
unit, but is usually taken to be 18")
Just another white guy who can't deal with the fact that
darker skinned people ever accomplished anything without
the help of God, aliens, or, in this case, giants.

This is really rich!

This book “THE NEPHILIM AND THE PYRAMID OF THE
APOCALYPSE” is totally unique:
* It is the first in-depth book to throw light on a mysterious
race known as the NEPHILIM and to provide evidence of who built the
pyramids of Egypt and Mexico and the other great monuments of ancient
history.
* It is the first book to show that the dark forces which roamed
the Earth in those primeval times will once again be at large during
the coming Apocalypse with the purpose of visiting mass destruction on
an unsuspecting world.
* This book also demonstrates why the builders of the ancient
world chose the pyramid shape, and it links this to a prophecy which
was written almost 2,000 years ago and is still unfulfilled – THE
PYRAMID OF THE APOCALYPSE.

Does this moron not realize that we've read the records of the
pyramids' construction? We know the names of the designers of most of
them, and for the Giza pyramids we have detailed records on the number
of men who built the things, how much they were paid, and have even
excavated the workers' camps!

"Atheism is the world of reality, it is reason, it is freedom. Atheism is
human concern, and intellectual honesty to a degree that the religious mind
cannot begin to understand. And yet it is more than this. Atheism is not an
old religion, it is not a new and coming religion, in fact it is not, and
never has been, a religion at all. The definition of Atheism is magnificent in
its simplicity: Atheism is merely the bed-rock of sanity in a world of
madness."
