Woman Swallows Cell Phone During Argument |
MISSOURI (AP) -- A Missouri lovers' spat over a cell phone took a
serious turn this morning. Blue Springs police say the woman stopped
an argument with her boyfriend by swallowing the phone whole.
Police say they responded to a call at about 4:50 a.m. from a man who
said his girlfriend was having trouble breathing. When they got to the
house, they found a 24-year-old woman with a cell phone lodged in her
throat.
Police say the woman swallowed the phone instead of handing it over to
her boyfriend.
The woman's identity has not been released, but police say she is at
St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs. Detective Sergeant Steve
Decker says he doesn't know what kind of phone it was, or whether it
was on ring or vibrate.

Well if you think about it, it would be extremely difficult to swallow a

If you think that is bad, sometimes when talking to my niece on the phone I
can hear her youngsters cutting up and fighting among themselves. On
occasion the littlest one will fall down and hurt himself which results in
some rather loud crying. I tell her to tell him, "Do you know why you fell
down and got hurt? Jesus doesn't love you anymore!" She always starts
laughing and scolding me saying "I can't tell him THAT!". sometimes I will
tell her to tell him "You made the baby Jesus cry so he is just getting
even." That really cracks her up.
