{WR} Kenilworth - Coventry and flooding reported. |
Brief but intense medium-level storm about 0700 at Kenilworth. Now heavy rain
at Coventry 0840.
Cluster of Cb towers over W Midlands shown well on this image:

Thunder just heard 0843.
Reports from colleagues of real problems in Birmingham area - flooding etc. The
lights are flickering - usually a good sign of severe weather of some sort.
It's looking to be the main news item again tonight, especially if the SE is
affected.

Sorry people, sent to wrong group - well it is early in the morning atm. I
doubt the good folk of alt.atheism are bothered by local weather in UK, unless
it affects Wimbledon.
The Glastonbury Festival looks like being a mud-bath, as the warm sunny weather
has broken down into a series of heavy thunderstorms.
