contractors sought him out on their own and pleaded with the
government to allow them to hire him instead of sending him over to
Nam.
B. Dookie, having possibly received a college degree, growing ever
more afraid of going to Nam sought out a job with a defense contractor
then pleaded to have his position made essential so he would not have
to actually serve.
C. Dookie failed either the physical or mental, maybe both, entrance
qualifications for the armed forces.
D. Dookie never got drafted.
E. Dookie is still paying back bribes to the members of the draft
board.
Ever notice how the most voracious hawks are the ones to never have
been in combat?
