Put yourself in the place of the insurgents / resistance leaders considering
the "surge." How would you confront it? Would you just roll over?
Doubtful. How about this approach? You let the U.S. set up outposts all
over Baghdad. These outposts are hard to defend. When it is determined
that there are plenty of these targets, you decide to hit them hard driving
American casualties to go through the roof and showing that we are not
getting anything for our efforts. Not a bad way to drive the infidels out
of Baghdad, huh?

Hard is not impossible. And of course the US isn't just sitting around
waiting to get smacked while the terrorists are doing their "considering".
When it is determined that there are plenty of these targets, you
decide to hit them hard driving American casualties to go through the

Only if you believe the MSM's "all news is bad news" line.
Not a bad way to drive the infidels out of Baghdad, huh?
That only works on Democrats, and they don't have to work that hard to
convince them.

No, we are probably busy falling into the trap.

The "surge" only works on Republicans who's only plan is an open ended
commitment to a disaster.
Now "W" has lowered his once lofty goals to " the war can be won . . . . ."
Real insperation there.

The disaster would be listening to the Democrats, whose only plan is to
let Iraq turn into another Killing Fields, which they think they can
pretend is Bush's Fault. But they won't be able to hide the blood on
their own hands.
Now "W" has lowered his once lofty goals to " the war can be won . . .

You don't need to be inspired. You just need to be brushed aside so the

I'm trying to dumb it down to your "busy falling into the trap" level.
When it is determined that there are plenty of these targets, you
decide to hit them hard driving American casualties to go through
the roof and showing that we are not getting anything for our
efforts.
Only if you believe the MSM's "all news is bad news" line.
"MSM?"
The traitor media.
Everything you know is wrong. . . .
Everything *you* have been told by the traitor media is wrong. Come on,
Dan, don't you ever wonder why it is that they almost never show you
actual American soldiers on duty in Iraq? Do you think the MSM wouldn't
complain about censorship if they *weren't allowed* to show our guys?
You know, they *can* go out among the troops if they want to?
You hear about "fallen heroes" but never ever about *LIVE* ones. Why is
that? Do you accept the idea that our military personnel aren't heroic
unless they're dead?
You hear about "X number killed in such and such a place" but you don't
hear about why. Were they attacked or were they the attackers? Who did
they fight? Was it a successful operation? Did we take prisoners or
capture weapons?
Don't you ever wonder about those things, or do you just accept that the
MSM is telling you everything that you need to know?
Not a bad way to drive the infidels out of Baghdad, huh?
That only works on Democrats, and they don't have to work that hard

Not the war, Dan. The aftermath of a pullout before the Iraqis are ready
to defend themselves.
Now "W" has lowered his once lofty goals to " the war can be won . .
. . ." Real insperation there.
You don't need to be inspired. You just need to be brushed aside so

You will *create* the mess that you say you want to clean up.
"The war can be won" is right up there with " Remember the Alamo,"
right?
The war *can* be won, Dan.
