Considering how psycho some Americans get when you burn their flag, why
should anyone be surprised if Muslims get pissed when you burn their
holy book? Any guesses as to how Christian fundies would react to a
Bible burning?
We humans are real good at confusing the symbol with the reality.

A very astute observation.

You might like to re-read your own article and then reflect on why the
USA might be so hated around the world.
Different countries exist because different people like to live in
different ways under different laws. You think you are free because
anyone can say whatever they want in the USA? Try standing on a street
corner in the centre of your town at peak hour and repeatedly shout
"Osama Bin Laden is great, Down with America" and see how free you
really are. (please don't really do this, you could be severely injured)
Many US citizens think they really do have a limitless right to free
speech, but it isn't so. Remember your President declaring a "war on
terror"? He had a very good reason for using that term, and that reason
can be found in:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schenck_v._United_States
You boyz ain't as free as you think.

I have been trying to see if the much-anticipated relase of the Dutch video
has been leaked yet, (it reportedly shows a Quran being burned).
People have been burning flags for years. I beleive having the freedom to

Why not just burn one yourself in the backyard? They are cheap enough,
free even via certain websites. You could even save yourself a bit of
money, I seem to remember you posting that you are a smoker:
"At the end of the Second World War, rolling paper was in short supply
and could not be imported. Frank Mignot found the solution for this
problem by using the same paper a regular Bible was printed on for
rolling cigarettes."
I assume they print the Koran on the same stuff. Of course if you
develop lung cancer afterward I'm sure you would appreciate the irony
;-)

People have been burning flags for years. I beleive having the freedom to
do such things is better than the alternative.

I agree. Unfortunately some people abuse freedom of expression and use
it to foment hatred and encourage violence. I prefer to keep the freedom
and make the effort to point out what the sociopaths who abuse it are up
to.

There are may good uses for the Quran, (asside from the most obvious
bathroom use). Pages of the Quran are reportedly very absorbant. When
frying bacon in the morning, you can use the pages of the quran to
absorb the excess grease. I saw a video on YouTube where a girl is
reported to have been in a pinch. (she was out of tampons), rolled up
some quran pages instead, (although I'd think such a use would increase
the odds of one getting toxic shock syndrome)

So, under what circumstances would the burning of a flag or a quran meet
with your approval?

You are misinformed. The kind of paper used for mass produced Bibles and

absorbing things either. Too thin. I will not be drawn on how I know

By True Muslim posted by Nick "Vaorous"
Yesterday, we read about another 'insult' to Islam that is in the
making. A half-crazed Dutchman is making a movie that will again show
Muslims in a very bad light.
Firstly, I don't think we can disagree with what the Dutchman will
say. Muslims are indeed a predictably crazy people. They do chop
heads, segregate girls and boys at schools and supermarkets, snatch
bodies of dead people, force women to pee on trucks and then take
pictures of them and other such fun stuff. Muslims do all this and
even worse.
But all that is dirty water that keeps flowing under the Muslim
bridge. The Muslims will not stop from screwing up. More dirty water
will flow. But lets not give up. Maybe we can teach the Muslims to
change for the better. Lets start small, step by step.
Mr Muslim, how will you react if you feel that you have been
insulted?
Will you burn buses? Will you beat up your own wives? Will you blow
yourself up with explosives at the nearest bus stop? Will you scream
'I am going to kill you'. How will you react, Mr Muslim?
Mr Muslim, let's do an experiment. Yesterday was Thaipusam. Let's
tell
the Hindus they were wasting their time pouring milk over objects
made
of stone. This is our opinion or belief and we are entitled to our
view. This is a free world. Then let's tell the Christians that their
Christmas last month was all a fake. It was also a waste of time.
Let's tell the Chinese that their Chinese New Year next month is
another time-wasting, ghost-worshipping mumbo jumbo. So, Mr Muslim,
now let us climb into our bomb shelters, put on our bullet proof
vests
and wait. Wait for what?
Well, we have just insulted the Hindus, Christians and Chinese.
Surely
they should also be burning buses, blowing themselves up with
explosives, wanting to kill us and such. If you can do these things
when you feel insulted, surely others also have the right to do the
same thing when they also feel insulted. Or do you feel, Mr Muslim,
that only you can blow yourself up with explosives but others may
not?
Yours is bigger than the other fellows?
But let me assure you, Mr Muslim, that the Hindu has faced off a
thousand years of criticisms. So have the Christian and the Chinese
too. They will not blow themselves up with explosives, burn your
buses
or come looking for you. They are not morons.
But how will you react, Mr Muslim? How will you react if you feel
that
you have been insulted? Can you think logically? Can you stop being
so
predictably childish? Are you still a child, Mr Muslim? Can you
listen
to a differing view or opinion and handle it intelligently without
burning your bus, without beating your wife, without blowing people
up
with explosives and so on? Can you do this, Mr Muslim?
Mr Muslim, what will you do if I tell you that your Nabi Muhammad is
not even mentioned in the Quran? Go and look inside your Quran. The
adjective muhammadin, muhammadun are mentioned four times in the
Quran. But these are adjectives, they are not pronouns. Muhammadin
means 'praiseworthy', that is all. And 'ahmaduhu' is also not the
name
of your Prophet unless you have discovered a Nabi Ahmad. There is no
proper noun 'Al Muhammad' in the Quran. These are simple easily
verifiable facts Mr Muslim. But what will you do when you hear things
like this? Will you consult your best Arab linguists and ask them to
explain or verify this point? Or will you beat your wife and then
blow
yourself up with explosives at the next bus stop? What will you do?
Recently the Shiahs celebrated the 10th of Muharram. They still cry
like fools that 1,400 years ago Ali was cheated by Muawiyah. They say
both Ali and Muawiyah were sahabah or companions of the Prophet. They
say Ali was finally killed by the Khawarij, not by Muawiyah. They say
Ali's sons Hassan and Hussein were killed by Muawiyah about 1,400
years ago. They still cry over it. But what if I tell you that no one
was killed by anyone? What if I tell you that these are all lies? How
will you react Mr Muslim? Will you blow yourself up with explosives?
Will you beat your wife out of frustration? Will you want to blow me
up too?
Mr Muslim, are you capable of asking me intelligently why I say that
the sahaba like Muawiyah, Ali, Hassan and Hussein did not kill each
other? Are you capable of listening to another view and understanding
a different opinion, Mr Muslim? And if you are not capable of
answering or rebutting the evidence that is presented, are you
capable
of realizing that all these years you may have been believing in
things that are false? How does your brain function Mr Muslim?
Mr Muslim, you say that Muawiyah and Ali fought at the Battle of
Siffin. You say that Muawiyah's forces won because they were able to
cut off Ali's forces from drinking water from the Euphrates River.
Don't believe? Here is the story from one of your own websites.
'The fight for the river : Muawiyah had stationed his general, Amr
ibn
al-Aas, with 10,000 men on the river to stop Ali ibn Abi Talib's army
having access to the water. Ali ibn Abi Talib sent Sasaa ibn Sauhan
al-
Abdi to persuade Muawiyah that he should allow Ali's army access, as
they, like Muawiyah's army, were Muslims. Ali further claimed that if
the situation had been reversed, the river would have been open to
both armies. However, Muawiyah sent back a message that the murderers
of Uthman had not allowed him any water when they had laid siege to
his house, and Muawiyah was avenging that action. Whether or not the
participants were truthful in their claims, this situation meant that
Muawiyah had the strategic upper hand, as Ali's army could not long
stay in the area without access to water. Ali had no choice but to
attack.'
Mr Muslim, please use your brain. The Euphrates River is over 1,725
miles long. It is bigger than the Pahang River or the Perak River.
Even today, with all their helicopters, satellites, Humvees, tanks
and
airplanes, the US Army cannot prevent even one Iraqi if he wants to
go
down to the Euphrates River to bathe, drink, fish, pee or whatever.
It
is impossible. You can prevent a small troop of soldiers access to a
well or a small pond. But never in the history of warfare has anyone
been able to prevent a small troop of people access to a huge river
that is 1,725 miles long. Yet this is what you want us to believe, Mr
Muslim, that 1,400 years ago Arab rag-tags riding camels and horses
were able to prevent other rag-tags on horses and camels from getting
a drink of water from a 1,725 mile long river. And as a result of
this, a 'battle' was lost and the Sunnis and Shiahs have been
fighting
since.
Here are some images of just tiny portions of the Euphrates River. I
hope it appears on your screen.

http://www.malaysia-today.net/2008/images/stories/letter/river3.jpg
Can you see how huge this river is? How does a force of men on camels
and horses prevent another force of men also on camels and horses
access to this huge river? So, Mr Muslim, all these stories about Ali
and Muawiyah fighting at the Battle of Siffin are just lies. The
story
that Muawiyah's forces prevented Ali's forces from getting water from
the Euphrates River is totally stupid and fake. How will you react,
Mr
Muslim? Will you blow yourself up with explosives?
Here is the Quran too:
8:638 "dan Yang mempersatukan hati mereka. Walaupun kamu
membelanjakan
semua (kekayaan) yang berada di bumi, niscaya kamu tidak dapat
mempersatukan hati mereka, akan tetapi Allah telah mempersatukan hati
mereka. Sesungguhnya Dia Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana"
So, Mr Muslim, according to your own Quran, it says here that even if
the Prophet spent all his money and wealth, he could not have united
the hearts of the sahaba or companions around him. However, God has
united their hearts. Your Quran says that God has united (past tense)
the hearts of the sahaba or companions of the Prophet. Mr Muslim, you
say that Ali, Muawiyah, Hassan and Hussein were all companions of the
Prophet. This means these were also the people whose hearts God must
have united. So, if God says that He has united their hearts, how can
you, Mr Muslim, insist that Muawiyah and Ali started killing each
other at the Battle of Siffin? How can you say that Muawiyah murdered
Hussein at Kerbala?
Mr Muslim, when you read your Quran you always end it by saying
'Sadaqallaah-ul Azeem' -- which means 'God Almighty has spoken the
Truth'. Yes or no? Now are you going to tell all your non-Muslim
friends who are reading this that in the verse 8:63 that I have
quoted
above, God was not telling the truth? Are you telling the non-Muslims
that God was bullshitting when he said that He has established love
between the companions and united their hearts?
So, how can all these stories about Muawiyah and Ali killing each
other be true? Can you just explain this without blowing anyone up,
okay? Or are you going to beat your wife senseless again? Are you
going to blow yourself up at the bus stop? What will you do now, Mr
Muslim?
Just one more point Mr Muslim. God says that no other Messenger was
ever sent to the Arabs. Here is the evidence from your Quran:
32:3 Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from
thy
Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come
before thee: in order that they may receive guidance.
28:46 Nor wast thou at the side of (the Mountain of) Tur when we
called (to Moses). Yet (art thou sent) as Mercy from thy Lord, to
give
warning to a people to whom no warner had come before thee: in order
that they may receive admonition
62:2 It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an Apostle from
among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them,
and
to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been,
before, in manifest error
No other messenger had gone to the Arabs before the Prophet.
So this means messengers like Abraham never went to Mecca to build
anything called the kaabah. Don't believe your own Quran now? So how
can you say that the kaabah in Mecca was built by Abraham? Where is
your proof? Can you think logically and reply logically?
If you say that Abraham did go to Mecca where the Arabs are found,
then you are contradicting the verse in your own Quran. You are
trying
to tell everyone, especially the non-Muslims, that God does not know
what He is saying in the Quran.
Then you say Abraham raised a house (bayt) from its foundations
(qawaaidah) in Makkah. But this is not what is written in the Quran.
The clear and perfect Arabic in the Quran says it was the other way
around in 3:96. The Quran says Abraham raised a foundation
(qawaaidah)
from the bayt with much conviction (bi-bakkah). Now, how can anyone
raise a foundation on top of a house, Mr Muslim? Terbalik
construction
techniques. This is only possible if you are raising a foundation
(qawaaidah) upon a system (bayt) with strong conviction (bakka).
There
is no mention of Makkah at all in 3:96. Bayt here is not a physical
house or building but a system, like the Houses of Parliament, the
House of Lords, the house of Justice, etc., which are all systems.
Abraham established a good system (bayt) on strong foundations
(qawaaidah) and with deep conviction (bi-bakka-ta).
So, how will you react to all these, Mr Muslim? Will you blow
yourself
up at the bus stop? Will you beat your wife again tonight? Or can you
think intelligently? Is this possible, Mr Muslim. If you cannot
control your anger here is what you can do:
3:119 'ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye
believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We
believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of
their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Die in your rage; Allah
knoweth well all the secrets of the heart."
So, Mr Muslim, if you are really angry strap some explosives to your
body, go to an empty lot, make sure there are no people, cats and
dogs
around and blow yourself up. Good riddance.

Dear Muslims,
Please tell the truth whether or not you- as a human being - truly
believe that Mohammed having more than 11 wives was HOLY ENOUGH to be
the TRUE prophet of the True Allah when he- Mohammed- at the age of
55, had ogled at a baby girl, Aisha - 5 years old for paedophilic sex
acts?
Even then, it is morally shameful for an old man, 55, to ask the
parent of a 5 years old baby girl for the marriage of their baby
daughter for paedophilic sexual acts!
And certainly, such marriage of Mohammed cannot be justified by the
Islamic law of mariage between a boy of 10 and a girl of 6 as the
difference in ages between Mohammed and Aisha is so great that
Mohammed could be the great, great grandfather of baby Aisha 6 years
old.
Such marriage is an immoral act trying to justify paedophilic desire
by calling it "Marriage" sanctified by Allah of Mohammed to vindicate
the immorality of paedophile like Mohammed.
AMEN IN CHRIST JESUS

Yes, quite true. How many examples (say, in the last few decades?) do
you want? It's quite easy to do.
Here's a few to get you started:
"Christians Assault, Ruin Atheist's Theater Performance
Although the story has been making the rounds for a while now, some of
you may not know yet about the incident in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
where a group of Christians stood up in the middle of a theater
performance (a monologue) and walked out. One of the Christians went on
stage and destroyed the only copy of the author's text. The piece in
question Invincible Summer, is part of a series created by Mike Daisey
in which he speaks and interacts with each audience differently."

How about these fine christians?
"The LRA continued to kill, torture, maim, rape, and abduct large
numbers of civilians, virtually enslaving numerous children. Although
its levels of activity diminished somewhat compared with 1997, the area
that the LRA targeted grew. The LRA sought to overthrow the Ugandan
Government and inflicted brutal violence on the population in northern
Uganda. LRA forces also targeted local government officials and
employees. The LRA also targeted international humanitarian convoys and
local NGO workers.
The LRA has abducted large numbers of civilians for training as
guerrillas; most victims were children and young adults. The LRA
abducted young girls as sex and labor slaves. Other children, mainly
girls, were reported to have been sold, traded, or given as gifts by the
LRA to arms dealers in Sudan. While some later escaped or were rescued,
the whereabouts of many children remain unknown.
In particular, the LRA abducted numerous children and, at clandestine
bases, terrorized them into virtual slavery as guards, concubines, and
soldiers. In addition to being beaten, raped, and forced to march until
exhausted, abducted children were forced to participate in the killing
of other children who had attempted to escape. Amnesty International
reported that without child abductions, the LRA would have few
combatants. More than 6,000 children were abducted during 1998, although
many of those abducted later escaped or were released. Most human rights
NGOs place the number of abducted children still held captive by the LRA
at around 3,000, although estimates vary substantially. "
"The LRA rebels say they are fighting for the establishment of a
government based on the biblical Ten Commandments. They are notorious
for kidnapping children and forcing them to become rebel fighters or
concubines. More than one-half-million people in Uganda's Gulu and
Kitgum districts have been displaced by the fighting and are living in
temporary camps, protected by the army."
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/para/lra.htm
"Why won't the American press tell you that Christians blew up the
Federal building in Oklahoma City?"
"Tonight on the news, it was revealed me that Timothy McVay, the guy who
is accused of the Oklahoma City bombing, is a Christian. Not only that,
but a radical Christian. This makes perfect sense to us. Who else but a
man motivated by his deep religious convictions could pull of an act of
such unearthly evil?
He has connections to a Christian compound called "Elohim." How do I
know it is a Christian compound (compound meaning a place where armed
loonies try to avoid adhering to federal law)? Not because the media
told me. The only way I know this is because "Elohim" is a name for God
which is often used by these nuts. It has actually been mistranslated to
mean "God" when it actually means "dieties" (plural), but that's beside
the point.
McVay called these loonies two weeks before the bombing. McVay's
attorney is trying to prove that these nuts are somehow involved in the
bombing. This is of little concern for me, because either way it was an
action by Christians who feel that a Godless government has no right to
govern them."

How about 10,403? the current number of Islamic terror attacks since
9/11. And that's less than one decade ago- in case that simple fact
escapes your attention- so get busy!
