Zionazi Sharon blames his kids for his crimes! |
"It wasn't me officer... it was all my kids fault!!"
What a fucking scumbag, he's blaming all his criminal dealings on his kids
now. How low can this Zionazi scum go?
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/01/22/1074732543048.html
Israel's Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, insists he will neither resign nor
explain himself to the public despite the indictment this week of a former
associate who is charged with paying him bribes worth hundreds of thousands
of dollars.
"I am not about to resign. I stress, I am not about to resign," Mr Sharon
told the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronot. "If the question is whether recent
developments are liable to bring about my resignation, the answer is no."
Mr Sharon also told reporters he felt he had no need to explain his role in
the affair to the public, since the matter was still under investigation.
Although the controversial former general has not himself been charged with
any crime, prosecutors say that a decision will be taken soon on whether to
charge him and his son Gilad for their role in the so-called Greek island
affair.
There is now widespread speculation that even in the absence of charges
against the Prime Minister himself - for which firm evidence may be
lacking - the scandal surrounding the case could finish off the career of
the most controversial leader in Israel's short history.
The Labour Party has called for his resignation and may table a motion of no
confidence.
Mr Sharon's senior ministerial colleagues from his right-wing Likud party
have so far maintained a loud silence. Several, including the Finance
Minister and former prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, are believed to be
manoeuvring to replace him.
Polls show that most Israelis do not believe Mr Sharon's claim that his two
sons handled all his finances and that he was unaware of the dealings done
in his name.
Most believe he should resign if corruption is proved against him.
However, most still support the continuing premiership of a man whom they
re-elected last January with a record victory for his party. Mr Sharon is
also widely seen as the best man to deal harshly with the Palestinian
intifada.
The Sharon family also faces possible criminal charges over the Cyril Kern
affair, which involves the payment of at least $US1.5 million ($1.94
million) in illegal overseas campaign contributions and subsequent allegedly
fraudulent attempts to cover up the money trail.
Prosecutors are still investigating evidence that Mr Sharon used foreign
donations to pay for his victory in the Likud leadership primaries in 1999
and that when this came to light he repaid the improper donations with
another secret donation from the same source, ostensibly a South
Africa-based businessman and former army comrade, Cyril Kern.
When first questioned about the money used to repay the original donations,
Mr Sharon claimed it had come from remortgaging his ranch, the largest
private farm in Israel.
He later changed his story, saying that his sons had sole responsibility for
his financial dealings, of which he himself knew nothing.

TheMan,
for some time now, you and I have often debated quite fiercly in here.
Our politics are widely divergent yet this is one occassion on which
we are of the same mind.
Sharon is an almighty coward I think. Blaming your family of all
things..do the israelis really want a guy like this leading them?
Israel has much to answer for.

Ultranationalist scum like you who endlessly promote and constantly

Double fucking standards again. Why is Israel allowed to reject and
shun the United Nations when other nations are not? Why not conform
with what the greater world dictates? Israel has no right to be
constantly terrorising a people. On the other side, Palestinians have
no right to be terrorising a people. Israel, or, more confidently,
Ariel Sharon, believes that fighting terror with terror is the answer.
Can you think or a more ridiculous sentiment?

anyone who comes within a mile of even BALANCED criticism.
They're a nation like any other, and if they
don't want to be criticized, maybe they should stop acting
like
a rogue
state. After all, they are in violations of far more UN
resolutions than
Iraq was.
Now, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt & assume you are
just
ignorant
rather than lying, but when the diots to whom you reply say
things like
this, they *know* they are lying.
Double fucking standards again. Why is Israel allowed to
reject
and
shun the United Nations when other nations are not? Why not
conform
with what the greater world dictates? Israel has no right to
be
constantly terrorising a people. On the other side,
Palestinians
have
no right to be terrorising a people. Israel, or, more
confidently,
Ariel Sharon, believes that fighting terror with terror is the
answer.
Can you think or a more ridiculous sentiment?
I must have missed the announcement of the Arab states'
acceptance
of 181. Can you post a link?
Okay they accept it.
Will the Jews get off their land now?
Have them put it on the table and see what happens.
The Jews will reject it, because they have more land now then they did in
1948.
They are still stealing more land as well as we speak with their very
crooked fence that runs on the wrong side of the border.

Looking back, perhaps the Israelis should have kept the Sinai. They
have received precious little credit for giving up territory
conquered in wars of self-defence.
You do recall, do you not, that they *were* wars of self-defence.
The so-called pre-emptive strike was in response to an act of war, a
naval blockade.
The present situation is the product of history. It is simplistic to
expect Israel to go back to the insane partition line.
But if they did, would you and the Arab states be happy, and
forswear all military action and terrorism.
A "simple" yes or no will suffice.

Whatever the history, and whatever your views on it may be, it is
difficult to ignore the fact that the State of Israel was created by
the United Nations.
It is difficult to think of many nations which were founded by a
legal process supported by a majority of other nations around the
world.
The only reason we have this problem today is because Israel
survived the concerted efforts of the Arab states to exterminate the
Israelis.
Ironically the Arabs created, or rather forced the creation, of the
second greatest military power on Earth. It is, quite literally,
impossible for the Arabs to get rid of Israel without going with
her.
Like it or lump it, that is "realpolitik".
But Arabs have never been noted for being realistic or rational.

I must have missed the announcement of the Arab
states'
acceptance
of 181. Can you post a link?
Okay they accept it.
Will the Jews get off their land now?
Have them put it on the table and see what happens.
The Jews will reject it, because they have more land
now
then
they
did in
1948.
They are still stealing more land as well as we speak
with
their
very
crooked fence that runs on the wrong side of the
border.
-TheMan-
Looking back, perhaps the Israelis should have kept the
Sinai.
They
have received precious little credit for giving up
territory
conquered in wars of self-defence.
You do recall, do you not, that they *were* wars of
self-defence.
The so-called pre-emptive strike was in response to an
act
of
war, a
naval blockade.
The present situation is the product of history. It is
simplistic to
expect Israel to go back to the insane partition line.
European Jews "defending" ex-Palestine is a silly concept.
After
all they
were the invaders, hence it was really the Palestinian
locals
who
were
defending their land.
-TheMan-
Whatever the history, and whatever your views on it may be,
it
is
difficult to ignore the fact that the State of Israel was
created by
the United Nations.
It is difficult to think of many nations which were founded
by a
legal process supported by a majority of other nations
around
the
world.
The only reason we have this problem today is because Israel
survived the concerted efforts of the Arab states to
exterminate
the
Israelis.
Ironically the Arabs created, or rather forced the creation,
of
the
second greatest military power on Earth. It is, quite
literally,
impossible for the Arabs to get rid of Israel without going
with
her.
Like it or lump it, that is "realpolitik".
But Arabs have never been noted for being realistic or
rational.
Izzy
You forgot to mention that the Arabs didn't agree to the UN's
breaking up of
Palestine. Its a bit rough when the true indigenous people
don't
get a
choice.
I suppose most people would get upset.
"True indigenous people"?
The only place you will find them is in Africa.
Izzy
Thank you. That stuffs Jewish claims to Palestine then.
And the Palestinians as well.
Izzy
Well not the ones there.
And certainly not the Jews there, either :-)

UN partition of Palestine
Britain, which had ruled Palestine since 1920, handed over responsibility
for solving the Zionist-Arab problem to the UN in 1947.
The territory was plagued with chronic unrest pitting native Arabs against
Jewish immigrants (who now made up about a third the population, owning
about 6% of the land). The situation had become more critical with the
displacement of hundreds of thousands of Jews fleeing the Nazi persecution
in Europe. Some six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust during World
War II.
The UN set up a special committee which recommended splitting the territory
into separate Jewish and Palestinian states. Palestinian representatives,
known as the Arab Higher Committee, rejected the proposal; their
counterparts in the Jewish Agency accepted it.
The partition plan gave 56.47% of Palestine to the Jewish state and 43.53%
to the Arab state, with an international enclave around Jerusalem. On 29
November 1947, 33 countries of the UN General Assembly voted for partition,
13 voted against and 10 abstained. The plan, which was rejected by the
Palestinians, was never implemented.
PA. That's a strange majority
.
