This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness
instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the
light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen
plainly that what he has done has been done through God.
___________________________________________________________________
Many people don't want their lives exposed to God's light because they are
afraid of what might be revealed. They don't want to be changed. Don't be
surprised when these same people are threatened by your desire to obey God and
do what is right, because they are afraid that the light in you may expose some
of the darkness in their lives. Rather than giving in to discouragement, keep
praying that they will come to see how much better it is to live in light than
in darkness.

December 17th - St. Brieg, Abbot and Founder of Quingamp, Brittany
St Brieuc (Brioch, Briach, Sant Brieg in Breton), born in British
Cornwall, he came to Paris where he was ordained priest by St Germanus
(not St Germanus of Auxerre) in the year 549. The year after, he
returned back to his country, converted his father, built churches and
monasteries, erected Crosses and worked miracles.
On the day of Pentecost of 565 an angel ordained him to cross over the
sea to preach the Holy Gospel to Brittany. He obeyed and landed near the
mouth of river Jaudy and founded a monastery which later grew into the
city of Treguier.
Later he left with 84 monks , journeyed eastward and founded a new
monastery on the location of the actual town of St Brieuc .He was
elected bishop (date not mentioned), died aged 90 in 614, and many
miracles occurred then.
His relics were translated to the abbey of St Sergius and St Bacchus by
King Heruspee, son of Nominoe to protect them from the Norse invaders.
In 1210 , an arm, two ribs and pieces of the saint's skull were
restituted by the monks to the bishop of St Brieuc.
Troparion of St Briach tone 8
O holy Briach, thou dost teach us the value of renunciation,
for thou didst renounce the world to seek salvation./
Therefore we pray, that our lives may show forth the
virtue of self denial and thereby attain the
eternal salvation of our souls.
Saint Quote:
Never believe you have attained such purity as you should, whilst your will is
not freely and gladly submissive to the holy will of God, as to all, and in all,
even in things most repugnant.
-St. Francis de Sales
Bible Quote
1 A workman that is a drunkard shall not be rich: and he that contemneth small
things, shall fall by little and little. (Ecclesiasticus 19:10)
<><><><>
(Proverbs 30:11-14)
Pure in their own eyes
There are those who curse their fathers
and do not bless their mothers;
those who are pure in their own eyes
and yet are not cleansed of their filth;
those whose eyes are ever so haughty,
whose glances are so disdainful;
those whose teeth are swords
and whose jaws are set with knives
to devour the poor from the earth,
the needy from among mankind.

So god is afraid of light due to the evil in his ways?
Exodus 32:14 "And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do
unto his people."
Jeremiah 18:11 "Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you,
and devise a device against you."
Jonah 3:10 "God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would
do unto them; and he did it not."
1 Samuel 16: 14 - 15: "Now the Spirit of the LORD had departed from
Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD tormented him. Saul's
attendants said to him, 'See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting
you.'"
Lamentations 3:38 "Dost not out of the mouth of the most High
proceedeth evil and good?"

Many people don't want their lives exposed to God's light because they are afraid of what might be revealed.

Ezekiel 32:5 "I will strew your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the
valleys with your carcass. I will drench the land even to the
mountains with your flowing blood..."
Deuteronomy 28:53 "Then you shall eat the offspring of your own body,
the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the LORD your God
has given you, during the siege and the distress by which your enemy
will oppress you."
What more of a tyrannous and cruel character could be revealed?

Dee,
Did god know that if he created people, placed them in the garden, etc
that billions of people would be damned? If so, he is evil and
selfish. If not, he is just rolling dice and watching to see what
happens - then damning people due to his insecurity and his ignorance
in not realizing the setup he placed them in and their inability to
comprehend consequences. Either way, what kind of a belief is that?
Also, why do you think god would allow satan - the lion and deceiver -
free roam of the earth? Consider poor Adam and Eve, naive - with no
knowledge of good and evil or even no understanding of death - and
they are suppose to obey an obscure rule about a tree while the most
deceptive being ever gets free access?
Don't you think all of this illogical? You should. More along the line
of a myth or a the molding of many myths?

The things I posted about with foreknowledge are very
straightforward. The "new thing" indeed involves a woman, she is Diana,
and I am who I say I am.You are free to believe what you like.If you
get the chance to come to St. Louis, we could talk plainly and face to
face, and you would learn how to put some of the things I have written
about to work for you, and the the things you care about.in some sort
of historical context. The ultimate mysteries of 3 Abrahamic faiths,
the raising of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom, are
related to changes in *us*.What I do isn't myth, its fact.
A great purpose is being worked out, and I know my place in that
purpose..You can know that as well. The door isnt closed.
