@ THE BIBLE AND THE TRUTH ABOUT 1914 AD @ |
Just as when you study the Bible you may not grasp the right
understanding
of the read passage ,the same may apply to the predictions.
I know of one special preacher,Harold Camping who has a very negative
opinion about the prediction by the Watchtower on the year 1914.
Yet ,the same precher to my surprise all of a sudden teaches that
Christ came spiritually in 1994 AD ( if not 1988 AD ).
That sounds exactly what Jehovah's Witnesses were teaching about
the invisible coming of Christ in 1914 AD .
So ,now ,a question arises who is right ? Did Christ come already as
predicted or not and he is going to come soon ?
The date 1914 AD can stand , depending how we interpret that date.
No queston that that 1914 AD was a breakthrough year in our history.
The same is about prophesied year 1991 AD when the last bastion of
human social system came down in the USRR. That was the last human
system I know from my student years that mankind could built.
The wars and explotation man by man were going to end and eternal peace
was to prevail all over the world .Does not these words sound
like they were taken from the Bible ?
Yes ,it looks so as the events of the XXth century were
the last ditch efforts
by Satan to thwart God's plans for the mankind.
Satan wanted to prevent God's Kingdom from coming onto this earth.
The events of the passed century and the events at the beginning
of this new century are to best suit the end time scenario.
There were few predictions in the recent past that underline this
observation.
The first fully acceptable prediction could have been the year 1994
AD.
70 and 80 years since 1914 AD were the years 1984 AD and 1994 AD.
The understanding of the 70 weeks and 7 weeks of Daniel 9.24-25
when applied to the far distant future leads to
the 1914 AD,1984 AD,1991 AD.
So ,we can construe a very interesting timeline that points to the fact
that we are living near conclusion of the present world order.
Do you remember or did you know that with the collapse of the
Soviet Union people began to talk about a new world order ?!
So ,the collapse of the communist system in the USRR was like
the end of the world !
In this basis alone we can say there was the end of the world in 70
AD
when the old Jewish religion system fell down.
So we can consider some important events as some kind of the end
of the world.
There was the end era of sort in the year 1914 AD no doubts at all !
If you came up with new religious vierws that would topple the views
of most religions or say the christiandom like it was in the case of
the International Bible Students - the world could say there is the
end of the world imminent.
So , no wonder such end of the world could have been expected
for the year 1914 AD.
There were perfect reasons like never before to think so and on this
account the date 1914 AD still stands .
With the growing understanding of the Bible and its present level
I can not resist conclusion that we are nearing the end of the world
that will be on a scale as never before.
About this end I have been writing for years and was putting the dates
of the demise of the present world order :
1994 AD,1999 AD,2000 AD,2001 AD,2004 AD,2005 AD
Still you can read my old posts to learn why the year 2004 AD or 2005
AD for example to get a feeling of what is awaiting us soon.
You can compare those predictions with other if you can.
Harold Camping also predicted the year 1994 AD and he is predicting
the year 2011 AD just as I do but came to the same date in a different
way . I am siding with Jehovah's Witnesses but he is their opponent !
So ,what he is presenting is a serious challenge who is right then
and
what if the date 2011 AD comes true ?!
Harold Camping is against all organized religions that are on the
face
of the earth while I am making some expceptions and consider
Jehovah's Witnesses ,for instance , as true religion.
If you are a catholic , Harold Camping would advise you
to leave the church you belong to immediately just as I would .
This makes the prediction for the 2011 AD more dramatic and
ever more important as your fate is at stake here very seriously.
The rght understanding of the Bible and of our times is what matters.
The other date close is the year 2012 AD and don't think for a
moment
I took the date from the Mayan calendar that ends the time with the
year
2012 AD. I have been hostile to the Mayan view till I have found
by own calculations that the year 2012 AD can also be
a date for the end.
What I am teaching is based on the Bible and has nothing to do
with Mayan religion or calendar.

Just out of curiosity and only semi-knowledge of the JWs, I thought the JWs
date 1914 related to Rev. when Satan was cast from the heavens..??

I am not a Jehovah's Witness from the organization you think.
You can check with their literature on that date. It is likely the
Bible
Students expected the end of the world in the year 1914.
It was to be like the beginning of the end that could last a few
years.
Check their book The Revelation in red cover.
If Christ has come in 1914 AD invisibly it would coincide with the
Satan
thrown down to the earth as in the Book of Revelation.
