@ WHO ARE THE NATIONS OF GOG AND MAGOG ? @ |
Since the 1000-year period can be taken symbolically and literally
from the Book of Revelation
I came out with an interesting explanation of Gog and Magog.
The true christianity was revived in the period of 1878 AD - 1914 AD
so it will fit to put the nations
of the world that are against that renewed christianity and brand them
as Gog and Magog.
So we have the ensuing period: 1914 AD - 2011 AD as the period when
people of those nations
try to destroy the true christianity.
If you know my posts well I can divide the Book of Apocalypse into
two equal parts each
of 11 books .
The whole book : 22 books that reflect 22-letter Hebrew alaphabet -
Psalm 119
22 : 2 = 11
Ist part : 1914 AD - 1984 AD - 1991 AD +
2nd part: 1914 AD - 1984 AD - 1991 AD +
The Revelation 11 is basically for the period : 1984 AD - 1991 AD
The Revelation 12 can be for 1914 AD or rather 1914 AD - 1984 AD

Gog is Mesech [Moscow] or in other words current-day Russia
and Magog is Tubal [Tobolsk] or current-day China
The tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh (Joseph's sons) are the "two
witnesses" from Rev. 11. The also correspond to two current-day
countries. Ephraim is the U.K. and Manasseh is the U.S.
Therefore we are told in Rev. 11:7 that Russia and China will destroy
the U.K. and U.S.
The rest of the dates and periods that you have shared are
meaningless. In 1917 the state of Israel was liberated by U.K. forces
(the state of Israel was liberated by the Kingdom of Israel) and in
1948 it was taken from them and given to the Jews who had been without
a country for over 2000 years (please see Matt. 21:19, Matt.
27:25-28).
When they began to put forth NEW SHOOTS in Israel in 1948 the prophecy
of the return of the Messiah was fulfilled (please see Matt.
24:32-34). These dates correspond to the periods in Daniel as
follows:
Daniel 12:7-11
12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters
of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a
Time (360), Times (2 = 720), and an half (180) (1260 years in total -
9/Dec./1917 when Jerusalem was liberated from the "Treading Down of
Jerusalem by the Gentiles); and when He shall have accomplished to
scatter the power of The Holy People (Israel - Gen. 48:11; 16)(Rev.
11:3; 7), all these [things] shall be finished.
12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what
[shall be] the end of these [things]?
12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up
and "sealed" till the time of the end.
12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but
the wise shall understand.
12:11 And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken
away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall
be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days (ended on 22/April/1948).

overcome them, and kill them.
I don't follow that but what I need explained is the verses which follow,
specifically verses 11 & 12:
Rev. 11:8-12
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which
spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
[9] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see
their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead
bodies to be put in graves. [10] And they that dwell upon the earth shall
rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another;
because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
[11] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered
into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them
which saw them. [12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto
them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their
enemies beheld them.
