And God spoke to all of the tribes of man in order for them to become
conscience that they had been given an eternal soul Furthermore, God made
them understand that they were here in the temporal world in order to
learn lessons about spirituality
Each tribe incorporated what they had heard within the framework of their
established customs and the words and rituals were handed down to their
children So many voices and so many ears to carry such a simple message
from generation to generation among all the various tribes of man and the
form of this message became more important than its substance
And all of the tribes in their primitive desire to be the most worthy in
the eyes of their god and more importantly in their own eyes claimed that
their religion was the only true faith and pathway to heaven
Such was their passionate and self serving zealousness that it led them to
wage war and persecution on those who would not bow down to their god and
no cruelty, bestiality, and sacrilege towards other tribes was beyond them
Yet if a member of any tribe were but to listen to a member from a
different tribe with an open heart and mind as he passionately talked of
the substance of his faith what wondrous truths might be discovered about
themselves and their religions For at the core of every religion conceived
by man are certain basic tenets and if man were not to concentrate so much
on the man made differences he would find that certain universal tenets
are common to all religions
And would it not be awe inspiring to see God through the eyes of your
brother and finally realize that the tenets in common are far more likely
to be of God than those differences which cause hatred, mistrust, and
superiority towards others
Of course, there may be those amongst man who believe that heaven is
divided into tribal religions as it is here in the temporal world as their
god would want and they must therefore believe that there are castles and
slums there too
