There is just something about that word *submit* that doesn't ring true in
how it's being used.

You mean that you don't like it.

It says for the wife to submit, "as unto the Lord".

Are you saying He RULES over you _without_ your consent?

That YOUR submission is not willing but is yielding to Force?

Who said anything about force? Oh, that's right, it was YOU.
YOU keep trying to claim, like the good, Scripture perverting
liberal that you are, that any man who thinks that 1 Cor 7
and Eph 5:22 is correct, is a rapist. After all, that's
exactly what you said about me, in another message.
Let me quote it...

WHAT IS "BY CONSENT"?

ONE Idea and Concept which /SOME/ men can not
tolerate in their marriage is *by consent*

The issue of consent is not about both parties consenting
to have sex for a time.

The issue of consent is about NOT having sex for a time.
Both parties must consent to THAT.

And it is ONLY for the purpose of prayer AND fasting,
not prayer OR fasting. And people do not fast for
months, or years at a time. :)

And after this short time, they must come together again.

The issue is that YOU can NOT confess that you are a rapist,

And there it is, folks. He gets beat by Scriptural logic
and that means that I'm a rapist.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Btw, why would you bring this up about the Lord? Apparently,
you don't believe in willingly submitting to the Lord. Thus,
you make the argument against wives willingly submitting to
their husbands.
You can deny that, but there's no other reason for you to take
this approach. If you equate men saying that women should
willingly submit to their husbands to rape, then you must also
believe that the Lord's command that people willingly submit
to Him is rape, since the Bible says in Eph 5:22, that a wife
is to submit to her husband, "as unto the Lord".
So you promote the idea that Jesus is a rapist. Hmmm....
I wonder how He'll take that?
