2nd SABBATH AFTER THE CRUCIFIXION |
Even though our TV "Evangelists" can accurately count Millions of dollars
they have defrauded from the sick, the elderly, the handicap and the poor,
incredibly they cannot count three days!
Mt:27:63: Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet
alive, After three days I will rise again.
64: Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day,
lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the
people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the
first.
65: Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as
ye can.
66: So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and
setting a watch.
Like the false prophets of our Churches, the religious leaders of the Jews
were anointed by the same spirit of Antichrist but they themselves could
count three days. As they had specifically requested, the Tomb was securely
guarded for three days and sealed with a huge stone. Contrarily to the
faulty counting of our anointed Ministers, for three whole days nobody could
enter the Tomb! The proof is right there in the Gospel that the followers of
Jesus were forbidden the access to the tomb and they in fact had waited
exactly three days before they could come with the spices.
Mk:16:1: And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother
of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and
anoint him.
Lk:23:56: And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested
the sabbath day according to the commandment.
The followers of our modern day false Prophets, who also cannot count three
days, would quickly believe there is an error in the above verses. The
Gospel of Mark clearly stated that the spices were bought after the Sabbath,
while in Luke 23 we learn that the spices were prepared before the Sabbath.
In this apparent contradiction lies the proof that three full days had
passed from the crucifixion to the arrival of Jesus' followers at the Tomb.
Jesus was crucified on the day of the Jews' Preparation of the Passover,
the following day according to the Law of Moses is always a "High Day", a
special Sabbath for the Jewish people. Even though the spices were bought
after this Sabbath, because of the formal interdiction of the religious
Leaders, still the followers of Jesus could not come to the tomb since it
was only the second day after the crucifixion. Until the prohibition was
lifted, all they could do is to only count and wait three days to entirely
expire. Then on Saturday which is the regular Sabbath of the 4th
Commandment, after resting another complete 24 hours, the followers of Jesus
finally came to the tomb with the spices at the end of the second Sabbath.

Hello,
I cannot understand your theory. Here is mine (mine is
better):
Jesus died on the "preparation" day, and was taken down
from the cross by a man named Joseph; wrapped and placed
in the tomb all on the "preparation" day. Still on the
"preparation" day , the "women" followed Joseph to check
out the sepulcher and how the body of Jesus was laid etc.
Then the "women" went home to prepare the spices etc.
Mind you this is still the "preparation" day. Then "on the first
day of the week" (that would be Sunday: the day after the
Sabbath, the Sabbath being day two), "they" (the women)
went to the (tomb) sepulcher with their spices etc, but found
Jesus to be gone from where He hadbeen wrapped and laid in
death, and as you can see this is day three.
Jesus' capture, trial, sadistically painful murder and burial
into the sepulcher was Day 1. According to Father's
commandment Jesus and His World rested on the Sabbath,
and that is now Day 2. Comes the first day of the week,
Sunday, Jesus is found to be missing from the tomb, and that
is Day 3. That is 3 days; three different days: Friday,
Saturday and Sunday.
All wasnot complete until Jesus arose, so that would make up
the entire 72 hours (3 days). Jesus was captured right after
supper and arose right after supper . . . 72 hours . . .
So, David Matthieu P.P, Jew, what is your problem? Why
areyou having so much trouble accepting Truth? John 8:44
and 45?
"Mk:16:1: And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene,
and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought
sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him."
Please brush up on your diction and notice the "had bought".
That means the spices etc. "had" been purchased etc.
previously. Funny you donot even capitalize the word,
"Sabbath".
"Lk:23:56: And they returned, and prepared spices and
ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the
commandment. "
This means they returned to their homes, from their
inspection of the sepulcher, while Joseph was still there, and
the sepulcher was still open, and before the stone was rolled
onto the opening, which of course was the first day, Friday,
and before the Sabbath (Saturday, the second day)).
So what did Jesus do on the second day, the day of rest, the
Sabbath (Saturday)? Jesus rested.
That year, the year of the beginning of Christianity, Passover
fell on a Saturday (the Sabbath), making that Sabbath a very
special, extraordinary Sabbath, plus there was another
holiday going on at the same time - i donot know what it
was, but i think it had something to do with the 7th Sabbath of
the 7th year or something like that, which they always also
celebrated. All in all it was one L of a celebrated weekend
(as bad as Christmas) and everybody was probably ina big
hurry, drunk with expectation of a huge feast, or high on
excitement . . . or "high" on something. And so it is from that
day forward we learned to celebrate Christmas (Christianity)
in such an unusually festive manner.

I know you are great in counting 3 days, unfortunately I realize you may not
have several Bible Translantions at your disposal. So I pasted below a few
translantions of Mark 16:1for you to consult:
Mark 16:1 (New International Version)
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and
Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body.
Mark 16:1 (New American Standard Bible) When the Sabbath was over, Mary
Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that
they might come and anoint Him.
Mark 16:1 (Amplified Bible)
AND WHEN the Sabbath was past [that is, after the sun had set], Mary
Magdalene, and Mary [the mother] of James, and Salome purchased
sweet-smelling spices, so that they might go and anoint [Jesus' body].
Mark 16: 1 (New Living Translation)
The next evening, when the Sabbath ended, Mary Magdalene and Salome and Mary
the mother of James went out and purchased burial spices to put on Jesus'
body.
Mark 16:1 (English Standard Version)
When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and
Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.
Mark 16:1 (New King James Version)
Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and
Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.
Mark 16:1 (21st Century King James Version)
And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James,
and Salome bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint Him.
Mark 16:1 (Young's literal translation) And the sabbath having past, Mary
the Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome, bought spices, that having
come, they may anoint him,
Mark 16:1 (Darby Translation) And the sabbath being [now] past, Mary of
Magdala, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought aromatic spices
that they might come and embalm him.
Mark 16:1 (New life Version) The Day of Rest was over. Mary Magdalene and
Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices. They wanted to put the
spices on Jesus' body.
Mark 16:1 (Wycliffe) And when the sabbath was passed, Mary Magdalene, and
Mary of James, and Salome bought sweet smelling ointments, to come and to
anoint Jesus [that they coming should anoint Jesus].

You are so smart at counting 3 days, you should have been there at the time
of Jesus' crucifixion to teach the religious Leaders of the Jews how to
properly count 3 days! Probably the Guards of the Tomb were totally ignorant
and could not count 3 days, so you would have taught them how to count. The
folowers of Jesus also could not count 3 days, what a bunch of folks you
would have been able to educate! Even the angel of God was unlearned of how
to properly count 3 days, so you would even have an angelic student to
teach. I cannot help but to wonder what would you do with Jesus for his
rendering of 3 days and 3 nights?
Mt:12:40: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly;
so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.
Lk:24:4: And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout,
behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they
said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6: He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was
yet in Galilee,
7: Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men,
and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Mt:26:61: And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of
God, and to build it in three days.
Mt:27:40: And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in
three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the
cross.
Mt:27:63: Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet
alive, After three days I will rise again.
Mk:8:31: And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many
things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and
scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Mk:14:58: We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with
hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
Mk:15:29: And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and
saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
Jn:2:19: Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in
three days I will raise it up.
Jn:2:20: Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in
building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Mt:16:21: From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how
that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and
chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Mt:17:23: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised
again. And they were exceeding sorry.
Mt:20:19: And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and
to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Mt:27:64: Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third
day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the
people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the
first.
Mk:9:31: For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is
delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he
is killed, he shall rise the third day.
Mk:10:34: And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit
upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
Lk:9:22: Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of
the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the
third day.
Lk:18:33: And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third
day he shall rise again.
Lk:24:21: But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed
Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were
done.
Lk:24:46: And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ
to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Jn:2:1: And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the
mother of Jesus was there:

Here you commit a common 20th / 21st C American fallacy, reckoning
time as WE do it, and NOT as THEY did it in the 1st C.
When you start adjusting the Bible to fit your dogma, you ride a
slippery slope.
Shame on you!
