Object: A SIMPLE GOD QUESTION
Where is there ANY objective verifiable evidence that ANY real gods exist?
The Bibles and other Holy books are no more than the words, opinions, myths,
fables and implausible tales and contradictions of ancient men of totally
unknown veracity. Why should we base our lives on this totally unreliable
and unverifiable information?
Where is there ANY objective verifiable evidence supplied by ANY Gods? If
there is a REAL God why does he not directly confirm his existence, wishes
and commands to all his creations in some direct reliable and understandable
manner?
Can it be that he does not exist except in the imaginations of man???

Bill M......why do you think it is up to you to "prove" there is no God?
Just what is your goal?
No matter what you write, state, those of us who believe will not be
persuaded by your comments. You can write all you want about
what you do and do not believe. But you are wasting your time
in trying to convince me and others who believe in Jesus and God.
I have zero interest is trying to change your opinions. None.
What you believe is just that.....what you believe. But you are
completely wasting your time in trying to convert us Christians
to become non-believers.
You may call us all kinds of names and other childish words,
but you will not change our minds. Period.
Hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas.

So are you saying that you wish God to confirm His existence to you in
a manner to be specified by you?
What are you going to do if God does not follow your orders?

Yup. I've set such conditions many times. Never anything that would
benefit me, or cause harm to others, but simply a series of observed

nothing.

Repeat after me: NO ONE can converse with Jesus Christ. He's DEAD (if he
existed at all.)
You can only converse with your own imagination, using Jesus as a
surrogate for whatever purpose you need to talk to an imaginary father
figure. I like to call this divine masturbation, the idea that you can
hold a conversation with a mythical character.

The scriptures say that rather than seeking to resolve the questions

Ah perfect, right on schedule: "I'm better than you because I believe
these fairy tales."
Call it condescension, arrogance, pious patronization; it's common to
all religions. It underlies the exclusionary nature of religions,
eventually leading to hatred, abuse and even violence towards the
non-believers, the infidels.

It's more than that. He knows we don't share his beliefs, yet he

You're right about condescension, arrogance, pious patronisation etc.

Yup. I've set such conditions many times. Never anything that would
benefit me, or cause harm to others, but simply a series of observed
events that could only be caused by a supernatural power. So far,
nothing.

What are you going to do if God does not follow your orders?

Continue being a rational atheist.

Well, good luck to you. If nothing else, you can tell Jesus Christ
that you do not think he exists when he returns to judge the earth.
What I fail to see is how you think that is rational.

There's noone to answer to, moron

Well, that does not sound very appealing, Lucifer. Go back and tell
your followers that Jesus Christ has a better plan.

I have no followers...except that girl from college who likes my
motorbike, half a dozen radio listeners...oh and about half the female
population of the college who all worship my body...so I'll just go
and...

Wait a minute. Why should I lie to people who trust me?

You shouldn't lie to anyone. Lying is a sin.

So are you saying that you wish God to confirm His existence to you in

No such thing as sin, but I don't hold with lying as I think that
deceit is dishonourable. Hence I will not tell my little band of
followers that Jebus has aplan, as Jebus doesn't exist.

I'm not the Lucifer of Paradise Lost, then again, you did show yourself
to be incapable of telling the difference between truth and fiction.
I'm a 19yo hellraising college student, student radio presenter, SU
firebrand, rocker, tailor, businessman and bar room brawler. I do have
a few follwoers,l mostly to see exactly what I'm going to do next, or
who just listen to the show, but no army bright to lead.
