Object: A sleepless night spent in prayer and meditation
Yesterday, a woman reached out to me for advice. Her question weighed
heavily on me and I wanted nothing more than to give the most sound guidance
I could.
Since I do not attend a congregation (church) I felt really inadequate to
provide the best possible answer. Sleep would not come so I spent the time
in prayer and meditation through the night. The result was that I gave the
best I could then reached out to others here for assistance. I am glad that
I did. There has been some good reasoning posted that I hope she will read
soon.
My thanks to all of you,
Alan

If you choose to hate God for His direct and indirect actions then so be it.
My belief is that every person that is brought forth on this earth has a
"life plan" developed by and for God. Nobody dies before that plan is
fulfilled. All life and subsequent death serves a purpose. I may not, and in
most cases do not, know what that purpose is.
So, in answer to your original question, I do and will continue to pray to
the master of this universe who I call God.

the only thing more sad than a christian who doesn't use their mind is
an antichristian who doesn't. let me guess... abused? rejected? daddy
didn't hug you growing up? if you say that "god" kills children than
you acknowledge god's existence. do i have to spell it out, or are you
still so hung up on your pain that you let it short-circuit your brain?
