CHRISTMAS IS COMING
About answered prayers
To read the Bible in one year, today read: 2 Chronicles 28-30
To Know:
³He came for testimony, to bear witness to the light, that all might believe
through him.² (Jn. 1:7)
On November 8, 1973 a woman in a neighboring church believed she received a
message from God for me. When the missive arrived, I was humbled. Like the
letters to the churches in the book of Revelation, it was addressed to me as
the pastor. From 1969 to 1973 I prayed daily for precise results in the life
of the church. Only the Lord knew my requests. The message was an exact
response to my pleas. The communication came from Christ.
Early on at Byfield I was led to Paulıs words to Corinth. ³Since we have
these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of
body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God.² (2 Cor. 7:1)
The message of November 8 began, ³My call to holiness is for my whole church
(tell my servant Bill. He will need your bodyıs prayers.)² Further on I
read, ³Seek to give away all without reservation. I will reward; I love my
people.² Fearless giving was a critical issue for me from the beginning at
Byfield. Later I was told, ³Set aside every goal you have for yourself. My
ways are better than yours. Learn to be meek and quiet. Do not seek for
credit or applause in any way. Learn to be strong in faith and courage.²
Finally the schism in the congregation was owned by the Lord, ³Many will
fall away, but many will be refined by the fires.²
Many other disclosures were in the message. The words have come true. For
thirty-seven years I have witnessed the work of the Lord Jesus in the
Byfield Parish Church. When Ross Edwards was led to direct my attention to
the call of John the Baptist to bear witness to Christ, he was alerting me
to watch as the Lord worked his will in the parish church in Byfield.

Pure nonsense. There is NO objective verifiable evidence for ANY
communication from God, Heaven, Hell, dead relatives or friends. You have an
over active imagination or are engaging in religious propaganda!
