Witchcraft in the Church=20

'WITCHCRAFT' - the supposed art of influencing the course of =
events by the occult control of nature or the spirits, using conjuring, =
magic, or tricks.=20
Come early October and throughout the month, one need only turn on =
any Christian radio station to hear a myriad of Christian religious =
programs proclaiming the evils of dreaded "Halloween".... well-meaning =
ministers will lay out stories of "witchcraft" and "satanic ritual" in =
such a way that will frighten the church to feel things, or to do =
things, that quench the Spirit of God, because they encourage the saints =
to war "after the flesh." Beware when you hear a Christian minister =
speak about the evils of "witchcraft" OUTSIDE the Church. When you hear =
such doctrine, know that this tactic is a cloak to hide from God's =
children the real acts of witchcraft occurring INSIDE the church. As we =
will discuss, the most influential and perhaps persuasive witches are =
those who are IN the Church, and have a measure of truth, and some power =
from God.
Consider this: most people accused of, or participating in =
witchcraft in the Bible, were God's people, or rulers over God's people, =
who were wicked or had gone astray from God's truth. Let us read the =
examples to bear this out:=20
a.. "For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and =
stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected =
the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king." =
(Samuel speaking about King Saul - 1 Samuel 15:23)=20
b.. "Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath =
a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his =
servants said to him, Behold, [there is] a woman that hath a familiar =
spirit (a witch) at Endor." (About the Israelite woman at Endor whom =
Saul used to conjure up Samuel from the dead - 1 Samuel 28:7)=20
c.. "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the =
valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used =
enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and =
with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke =
him to anger." (About evil King Manasseh of Judah - 2 Chronicles 33:6)
d.. "And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is =
it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms =
of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so] many?" (About =
Jezebel, a Zidonian by birth, but queen, wife, and ruler with (and =
sometimes above) king Ahab of Israel - 2 Kings 9:22)=20
e.. "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; =
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, =
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, =
heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of =
the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, =
that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." =
(Paul speaking about the rebellious members in the Church that would be =
judged unworthy by God for their deeds done in the flesh - Galatians =
5:19-21)=20
Did you notice that God said "There shall not be found among YOU [ =
i.e., that is, GOD'S PEOPLE ] any one that maketh his son or his =
daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an =
observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch..." (Deut. 18:10). God =
did NOT say we should rid the world (the unbelievers) of it's witches. =
There were "sorcerers" in high political places in Babylon, Egypt, and =
Nineveh, but the majority of scripture deals with the sin of witchcraft =
among GOD'S PEOPLE (In Israel or the Church.) In our dispensation, you =
will find witches leading the children of God astray INSIDE the Church =
(does that surprise you?), and for that reason God was, and still is, =
adamant that HIS people "should not suffer a witch to live" (Exodus =
22:18).=20
In our opening definition (taken from the Oxford dictionary), we =
find that a witch is one who "supposedly influences the course of events =
using 'conjuring'." Who are these "witches" in the Church, and what do =
they "conjure"? How do they practice their "magic art"? Hopefully, God =
will allow us to "expose" them, and "kill" their influence among you, =
and all of God's children everywhere. If we can do this, we will have =
done a good work for the saints of God.
"Conjuring"=20
Conjuring is using a "magic formula" or "incantation" to =
"supposedly" make an event occur through occult or supernatural means =
(and that word "supposedly" is important). You will see such =
"witchcraft" in Christian churches almost every day of every year - if =
God will open your eyes to see it.
Satan's ministers call their conjuring "getting saved". God calls =
it "witchcraft". You must understand that most of Satan's ministers to =
not realize they are doing Satan's work at all. A minister will use his =
"powers" to bring a hungry soul under conviction through a sermon or =
message, and at the end, people will be invited to come down to an =
"altar" and repeat a prayer. The sinner will be asked to say they are =
very sorry for their past life. To "confess" their sins. They may be =
crying, and truly wanting to know Jesus more. And finally, the minister =
will have them repeat "Romans 10:9", or a "sinner's prayer" or some =
other "incantation", after which they are told, in effect: "Abra-Kadabra =
- you are now 'saved.'"
The good work was that a soul hungered to know God. The evil, was =
that the person wanting to know God was quite possibly, stopped from =
doing so by that minister's "withcraft." Now let us carefully consider =
this dear reader... has a person who does what these ministers are =
telling people to do, truly been "saved"? Have they gone through this =
life and "worked out their own salvation with fear and trembling" as =
Paul admonished those who had already been converted to do? Have they =
heard and done what Jesus taught those wanting salvation to do: "He that =
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." (Matthew 24:13). =
Have they done what Peter taught the Church, when he told them that they =
were to be "... kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation =
ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:5). More importantly =
- have these people been "converted" at all?!=20
"Magic & Sorcery"=20
One of the greatest acts of "sorcery" in the Church, has been to =
persuade those who have received the baptism of the Spirit that the =
Church's members include those who have never truly been baptized into =
the body of Christ by Jesus. Telling someone they are born again before =
that person has received the baptism of the holy Ghost (with the initial =
evidence of speaking in tongues) is nothing but an act of witchcraft. It =
is not true, and it is merely "conjuring" to try to make it be so! Who =
was the first witch to accomplish this? I don't know. I doubt if anyone =
knows where it first began. But I do know that it is wrong, and that it =
is evil. Paul said that "by one Spirit are we all baptized into one =
body" (1Cor.12:13). Since it takes the baptism of the Spirit to be put =
into the Church (the one body of Christ) - then it is obvious that those =
who have never received the baptism of the Spirit are not in the body of =
Christ at all - even though millions have been persuaded to the =
contrary.
"Witchcraft" is trying to influence the course of events by occult =
incantation. Quite plainly - if a person has not received the baptism =
that Jesus performs - the baptism of the holy Ghost (with the initial =
evidence of speaking in other tongues), it is "witchcraft" to tell =
people they have been converted without it! These are the TRUE witches =
in the church: those who are telling those seeking God, that it is =
possible to be born again without JESUS actually converting them!
All successful magicians (witches and sorcerers) use "redirection" =
to hide their conjuring. They will draw your attention to that which is =
unimportant, while they are doing the real deed in secret - visible, but =
unnoticed by the observer or participant. And that is what we see today. =
Christian ministers "redirect" their followers to despise the evil deeds =
of this world's lunatics (whom they call witches), only to hide their =
own sin. I suppose it is NOT a willing act in many cases, nevertheless, =
the effect is the same (despite their intention.) But Jesus has allowed =
us to pull back the veil so that the Church can see. It is an honor we =
at times, can scarcely comprehend.
Witches and Power=20
Do witches have power? Yes, they do. Beyond that - witches tell =
the truth - and can appear to be holy: "If there arise among you a =
prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And =
the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, =
Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve =
them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that =
dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye =
love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye =
shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his =
commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave =
unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to =
death; because he hath spoken to turn [you] away from the LORD your God, =
which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the =
house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God =
commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the =
midst of thee." (Deuteronomy 13:1-5).=20
I am convinced that God, in his wisdom, has put witches in the =
Church to "prove" us. And quite frankly, He has found us wanting. God's =
people have lost the ability to discern between good and evil - and if a =
prophet or dreamer now dreams a dream, and it comes to pass, they not =
only embrace that man, but elevate him to a position of the highest =
influence. They fail to see that these men are turning the Church away =
from God's truth. We are blind and drunk with the wine of spiritual =
fornication.
Look at Christian television, any and every program - and see if I =
am not telling the truth. Jesus has not sent them to do what they are =
doing, or to teach the doctrines they are teaching. This does not mean =
they are not children of God (gone astray of course)- "witches" are =
usually born again. What it does mean is that God has sent them, dear =
friends, to prove you. See if you have been persuaded with their =
teachings, just to mention a few: "Come and get saved" (when in reality, =
Jesus will bring his salvation with him when he returns for the =
faithful). "Accept Jesus as your savior" (when the truth is that we do =
not accept Jesus - he makes US acceptable to God by sanctifying us with =
his Spirit). "Christianity is the body of Christ" (when the truth is =
that Christianity is a pretender - the Church is ONLY those people in =
whom the Spirit of God dwells, and the only Church Jesus will return for =
are those obeying and being led by it). "The baptism of the Spirit is =
just something 'extra'" (when the reality is that the baptism of the =
Spirit is the born again experience, and NOBODY will be saved in the end =
without this conversion experience!) There are literally hundreds, =
perhaps thousands of other such "name it, and claim it" doctrines being =
practiced in the denominations of Christianity around the world. =
Witchcrafts! Delusions! Vanities! Lies!
Merely because a witch (usually a Christian evangelist or teacher =
highly regarded among men) names the name of "Jesus", undiscerning =
children of God (those with the Spirit, but not led by the spirit of =
truth) puff that man up. The result of this is that his "witchcraft" =
becomes an accepted way of life among believers, much to our own =
destruction. Oh God -- the Church needs your Spirit's power to set us =
free to see the truth!=20
God is now calling his children to "come out of her my people". =
The "her" is the idolatry of Christianity - it's creeds, sects, =
denominations, ceremonies - all of it is "witchcraft" - none of the =
things done in them which the Spirit has not ordained is acceptable to =
God. Not one of Christianity's denominations is the Church. Not one of =
Christianity's "ceremonies" is of the Spirit. Not one of Christianity's =
ministers can teach the truth entirely, for if they were doing so - they =
would come out!
The greatest concentration of "witchraft and sorcery" on this =
planet can be found in "Christianity" (which is spiritual "Babylon"), =
but it's judgment is not far from coming dear friends: "And the light of =
a candle shall shine no more at all in thee (spiritual Babylon, or =
"Christianity"); and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall =
be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of =
the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her =
was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were =
slain upon the earth." (Revelation 18:23-24) Christianity has put to =
death every revival of the Spirit there has ever been on this earth =
through it's creeds, doctrines, ceremonies, and it's receiving as blood =
washed children of God, those who have never received the Spirit of God =
at all.
God is wanting to set his people free. Child of God, your Father =
and Jesus want you to have NO PART with Christianity. Forsake it's =
deeds. Expose it's sorceries. Reject every one of it's ministers =
teaching doctrines which amount to "witchcraft." If you are truly =
seeking God, these thoughts will liberate you to finally be able to =
confess what you really think about the spiritual condition of the =
Church. Rejoice in the holy Ghost, and be happy with what God really IS =
doing for you by showing you these wonderfully holy things. Stop =
"pretending" to be something, or somewhere in God that you are not and =
be really washed by Jesus. Confessing the truth, and walking in it, is =
the "godly" thing to do, and "godliness with contentment is great gain." =

<P>All successful magicians (witches and sorcerers) use =
"redirection" to=20
hide their conjuring. They will draw your attention to that which =
is=20
unimportant, while they are doing the real deed in secret - =
visible, but=20
unnoticed by the observer or participant. And that is what we see =
today.=20
Christian ministers "redirect" their followers to despise the evil =
deeds=20
of this world's lunatics (whom they call witches), only to hide =
their own=20
sin. I suppose it is NOT a willing act in many cases, =
nevertheless, the=20
effect is the same (despite their intention.) But Jesus has =
allowed us to=20
pull back the veil so that the Church can see. It is an honor we =
at times,=20
can scarcely comprehend.

<P>Do witches have power? Yes, they do. Beyond that - witches tell =
the=20
truth - and can appear to be holy: <B><I>"If there arise among you =

prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a =
wonder, And=20
the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, =
saying,=20
Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us =
serve=20
them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or =
that=20
dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know =
whether ye=20
love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. =
Ye=20
shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his=20
commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and =
cleave unto=20
him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to =
death;=20
because he hath spoken to turn [you] away from the LORD your God, =
which=20
brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the =
house of=20
bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God =
commanded=20
thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of =
thee."=20

<P>I am convinced that God, in his wisdom, has put witches in the =
Church=20
to "prove" us. And quite frankly, He has found us wanting. God's =
people=20
have lost the ability to discern between good and evil - and if a =
prophet=20
or dreamer now dreams a dream, and it comes to pass, they not only =
embrace=20
that man, but elevate him to a position of the highest influence. =
They=20
fail to see that these men are turning the Church away from God's =
truth.=20
We are blind and drunk with the wine of spiritual fornication.
<P>Look at Christian television, any and every program - and see =
if I am=20
not telling the truth. Jesus has not sent them to do what they are =
doing,=20
or to teach the doctrines they are teaching. This does not mean =
they are=20
not children of God (gone astray of course)- "witches" are usually =
born=20
again. What it does mean is that God has sent them, dear friends, =
to prove=20
you. See if you have been persuaded with their teachings, just to =
mention=20
a few: "Come and get saved" (when in reality, Jesus will bring his =
salvation with him when he returns for the faithful). "Accept =
Jesus as=20
your savior" (when the truth is that we do not accept Jesus - he =
makes US=20
acceptable to God by sanctifying us with his Spirit). =
"Christianity is the=20
body of Christ" (when the truth is that Christianity is a =
pretender - the=20
Church is ONLY those people in whom the Spirit of God dwells, and =
the only=20
Church Jesus will return for are those obeying and being led by =
it). "The=20
baptism of the Spirit is just something 'extra'" (when the reality =
is that=20
the baptism of the Spirit is the born again experience, and NOBODY =
will be=20
saved in the end without this conversion experience!) There are =
literally=20
hundreds, perhaps thousands of other such "name it, and claim it"=20
doctrines being practiced in the denominations of Christianity =
around the=20
world. Witchcrafts! Delusions! Vanities! Lies!
<P>Merely because a witch (usually a Christian evangelist or =
teacher=20
highly regarded among men) names the name of "Jesus", undiscerning =
children of God (those with the Spirit, but not led by the spirit =
of=20
truth) puff that man up. The result of this is that his =
"witchcraft"=20
becomes an accepted way of life among believers, much to our own=20
destruction. Oh God -- the Church needs your Spirit's power to set =
us free=20
to see the truth!=20
<P>God is now calling his children to "come out of her my people". =
The=20
"her" is the idolatry of Christianity - it's creeds, sects, =
denominations,=20
ceremonies - all of it is "witchcraft" - none of the things done =
in them=20
which the Spirit has not ordained is acceptable to God. Not one of =
Christianity's denominations is the Church. Not one of =
Christianity's=20
"ceremonies" is of the Spirit. Not one of Christianity's ministers =
can=20
teach the truth entirely, for if they were doing so - they would =
come out!
<P>The greatest concentration of "witchraft and sorcery" on this =
planet=20
can be found in "Christianity" (which is spiritual "Babylon"), but =
it's=20
judgment is not far from coming dear friends: <B><I>"And the light =
of a=20
candle shall shine no more at all in thee (spiritual Babylon, or=20
"Christianity"); and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride =
shall be=20
heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men =
of the=20
earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her =
was=20
found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were =
slain=20
upon the earth." (Revelation 18:23-24)</B></I> Christianity has =
put to=20
death every revival of the Spirit there has ever been on this =
earth=20
through it's creeds, doctrines, ceremonies, and it's receiving as =
blood=20
washed children of God, those who have never received the Spirit =
of God at=20
all.
<P>God is wanting to set his people free. Child of God, your =
Father and=20
Jesus want you to have NO PART with Christianity. Forsake it's =
deeds.=20
Expose it's sorceries. Reject every one of it's ministers teaching =
doctrines which amount to "witchcraft." If you are truly seeking =
God,=20
these thoughts will liberate you to finally be able to confess =
what you=20
really think about the spiritual condition of the Church. Rejoice =
in the=20
holy Ghost, and be happy with what God really IS doing for you by =
showing=20
you these wonderfully holy things. Stop "pretending" to be =
something, or=20
somewhere in God that you are not and be really washed by Jesus.=20
Confessing the truth, and walking in it, is the "godly" thing to =
do, and=20
<B><I>"godliness with contentment is great gain." </I></B>You can =
be=20
blessed!
