The Supreme court merely upheld Florida's existing law, thereby
preventing a corrupt Florida supreme court from rewriting new law
from the bench.

The U.S. Supreme Court overstepped its authority when it forever
discredited itself by APPOINTING a President over the will of the people.
It would have been so EASY for them to simply have allowed a FULL
andMETICULOUS re-count to have been done in Florida -- even if
that had taken MONTHS. The US Supreme Court quite legitimately
overrides state laws regularly, as that is called for -- and even state
constitutions. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land,
and interpretations based upon it on the part of the US Supreme Court
is the *second*-most potent law in the land. That's called Judicial Law.
The Roe vs. Wade decision, for example, is Judicial Law. Per the
Constitution's system of checks and balances, ONLY Congress, or
the US Supreme Court itself (via a reversal) can override Judicial Law.
And many times, when the Judicial Law is solidly based upon the US
Constitution, as is the case with Roe vs. Wade, ONLY the Supreme
Court, itself, or a Constitutional *Amendment* can override it.

Secondly, the reason our brilliant founders decided to instate the
Electoral College was to prevent rabble (like you and other Jerry
Springer show fans) from electing a professional wrestler or the like
to high office.
And who could doubt their wisdom at this particualar crossroads in
American history? If Gore had been the sitting President on 9/11,
you'd be speaking Arabic right now, zanadu. Because Gore, like all

Ask yourself the question: If Al Gore really did win the last
election and he is not President only because it was "stolen" from him
then why is he not running again with a certain guaranteed victory??
