Yes, Paul says all of Israel shall be saved and this was a
contradiction as usual as he said in Rom. 11:23 "And they also, if
they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able
to graft them in again". His hope that all Israel will be saved
includes himself and is most likely the reason he felt free to act as
he did.
The Messiah told the parable of the unprofitable servant (the
Israelites being God's servants biblically) indicating some would NOT
be saved if they did not work to increase God's 'wealth' in saving
souls/providing salvation to the Gentiles.
Matt. 25:30 "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Don't put your hope in the words of Paul, Vera. Put your hope, trust,
and faith in the words of The Word, Yeshua` Messiah whose words are
recorded in the New Testament for those who care to read them rather
than Paul's words.

I tend to agree with you, Ike, on this, but don't you think it is true
that even the Apostles, and especially Paul, were confused about the
new covenant and how much of the old covenant had been superseded or
entirely supplanted? How, for instance, were the monstrosities and
racism of the old testament to be explained? Did the prophets just
hear the word of the LORD wrong, or did some fallen angels get in and
deliver false messages to them? I am referring to the commands to
genocide whole races of people or stone people to death. This would
clearly be against the law of Christ, and yet it is right there in the
Torah of the Jews. This is the crux of the matter.

inadvertently passed on forgiveness of sins to the Gentiles, as THEY became
the owners of the sacrifice by committing the strangulation.
Thus the horizontal became vertical.
This makes for one interesting shift of paradigms.

General Amru, who in 615 AD spake: "What need we or these books? If
they oppose the Koran, they are heresy and should be burned. If they

In more amicable tenor, I say that I struggle hardly to be worthy of

It is easy to take a passage here and there
and make them seem to say something.
It was after saying to God and myself that I was
going to forget everything and read it anew and
that I was going to admit to what Jesus said in
Mat 24:34 (which btw, is the passage that causes
more people to reject the Gospel and more pastors
to leave the pulpit than anything else) and see
where it lead and that God was either going to
have to prove the integrity of the Scriptures to me,
or I was leaving the faith. And the fact is, that
those who end up leaving the faith, do so because
of the widespread Futurism. They don't even
have a clue that it can be looked at entirely
differently. They _think_ that they have read it
carefully and without bias, but in fact, all they
know is the bias.
