DARN TOOTING RIGHT, IT MAKES PEOPLE NERVOUS.
Their "nervousness" makes me nervous.
This morning I received an email from my niece, who writes:
"Hey Sharon,
I don't like to read religion stuff. is it ok if you dont send me
these? Im Catholic."
Because it's the truth? and it makes her uncomfortable?
I simply emailed her a copy of some of the excerpts of historical
persecution of Jews, by Christianity, Helen Ellerbe's "The Dark Side of
Christian History". Followed by Adolf Hitler, [from "Hitler's Cross" by
Erwin Lutzer], ranting himself in comparison with the Christ. When put
into proper historical perspective, the centuries of abuse and brutal
persecution by the Church and its blood-thirsty on-going persecutions
against Jews, that phrase we've all heard at one time or another, "The
Final Solution" becomes rather self-explanatory.
My other sister, I sent to her information which holocaust deniers use
to malign Jews, and I received a hostile response, not unlike a broken
record. I could have sworn that Abe Foxman typed it for her! She's
never studied the issue to know whether it happened or not, yet her
response was "I believe this or that happened. I believe..." that's a
lot of believing, without actually knowing or understanding anything.
That wouldn't get you a job as a rocket scientist or lab technician. "I
believe". Meanwhile, the extremists are going to go on blowing things
up and killing people, because they have "beliefs" too, and people like
my sister, aren't able to discuss a thing about history, to change
beliefs.
It makes me angry that people are too cowardly to see history for what
it really is, as for the autrocities of the Church, perhaps they'll
find themselves looking in the mirror. (My sister who is lead by blind
faith in, and blind defense of the Holocaust, is the first to send me

wonder to myself this morning, if these people are simply choosing to
avoid what makes them uncomfortable, to see the whole of Christendom's
history, THEIR HISTORY I should add,--they might see Herr Hitler was
only the last in a long line of their "Godly Madmen". Some have tried
to imply his motives were driven by "his atheism". We don't hear much
about all the other Hitlers in Christian History. I've been reading
about a few of them in Sheldon's History of the Christian Church.
People have made an awful big deal about Hitler, they've demonized
Hitler, even made video games to portray him as some type of
"supernatural villain", as if such a tyrant never existed in History
--but had it been only centuries earlier, he would have perhaps
received high praise from the Pope himself, perhaps even commended by
the Royal throne itself -had he murdered twice as many! What they're
looking at is the kind of men, their own forefathers put on thrones and
inside the Vatican. But they don't want part of the blame. "Point *all*
the blame on Herr Hitler, I am not guilty, don't make me read anything
about my Christian history. It makes me uncomfortable."
My niece and my sister do not want to be told, "People like you helped
bring Adolf Hitler to power, with your religious bigotry" and that
"People like you, create extremists with your ignorance of history, and
inability to discuss to set the historical record straight." Folks like
Abe Foxman are the only ones discussing, aside of people like David
Irving and Ernst Zundel.
I think the issue needs to be taken out of the closet and discussed by
common people. People are afraid of the Jews, that's why they act like
they do. Just as superstitious and paranoid as they ever were. Things
have not changed since the Dark Ages.
Here Is An Additional Thought To Ponder
The ADL is doing a lousy job of defending Jews. I see their defense
(sprinkled with political bias and sometimes dishonesty, distorted
facts, even lies) as fueling hostility toward the Jewish people.
Yet, in all fairness, if the ADL, and those like them were removed from
their lucky position of influence --with the overwhelming ignorance
that remains in mass majority of people, their fear and refusal to
learn about the autrocities their religious bigotry lead to in past
centuries ... give it little as twenty years, and the Zundels and
Irvings would be right back at it, successfully spreading and
indoctrinating ignorant hatred into people. Temporarily, they've been
driven into the darker hovels. Society won't allow them to have
influence, for today that is. It's not that the individual is any
better, but that people want to be politically correct, generation to
generation.
Let's face it, people are cowards, and it doesn't matter which side
they're standing on --they always want to be on the politically correct
side. These same folks who "blindly" defend the Holocaust (closing
their eyes and ears to any discussion on history) --well, they'd just
as blindly start parrotting, "it didn't happen" if they felt that's
what they should say. If the media started explaining "why" it didn't
happen, they'd buy into it, hook, lie and sinker. Their ignorance makes
them dangerous. They're unstable, they have no facts or truth behind
their "beliefs", and incapable of defending any Jew. Only "beliefs".
History repeating itself? It could happen. There's centuries of
Christian bigotry on record... and it's still not over. These same
people would be the first in line, when the next holocaust would happen
saying "it's justified, everyone else says so." We'd be right back at
burning folks at the stake, the rack and threat of lynching to extract
confessions and Jews would be hounded out of every corner on the
planet. And these same folks who refuse to see or review the
autrocities of their Christian History, would have never known where
they had been, to avoid history repeating itself. Getting caught up in
what's "politically correct" for one's own generation, vs. what's
correct for human history, can be very dangerous. It doesn't take much
effort to bleat what you think Hollywood and the newspaper wants you to
say. A pious and effortless task, for those who lack a working brain.
The ADL, with its discretatable reputation, is all the Jews have, from
the "one hair width away" from History repeating itself. That scares me.
