Ancient Nonbiblical Christian Scriptures/Texts |
Does anyone know if there are any websites with the text from ancient
Christian scriptures that aren't included in the bible, i.e., books
that haven't been officially cannonized as scripture but that probably
came from the same time periods and locations as biblical scripture?

If they aren't in the Bible, then they wouldn't be
Christian. :)
The only texts that would be available, are from the
second century and are Gnostic in nature.

I haven't seen a website, but there is a book "The Other Books of the
Bible" that's been in print for decades. These books were never
included as "spiritiual writings" for the faithful, but cults did
arise around them.

There were many more different Christians than those of the
Roman Church that compiled the "Bible"!
The only texts that would be available, are from the

Oh, and those Gnostics were just one of the set of
