LET'S NOT RETREAT
Your brain has already retreated long ago.
Animal sacrifices cannot save
Sacrifices cannot save, period.
Blood sacrifices were what the ancient (non existent) pagan gods were
believed to be pacified by.
The Aztecs, Incas and many other cultures/religions sacrificed humans (and
animals) to try to pacify their barbaric mythical gods, and with no
verifiable success.
Later most religions turned to sacrificing animals instead, again, with no
verifiable success.
Both were just futile and barbaric traditions practiced by primitive and
superstitious people.
The Aztecs were so dumb, they thought that the sun would halt in it's orbit
and they would all die if they didn't make regular sacrifices to their god.
The Christian god accepted the blood sacrifice of animals, and just 2000
years ago he accepted the sacrifice of a human. Obviously old habits die
hard.
If the Christian God accepted the *human* blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ
(as well as animal sacrifices) then that pegs him fairly and squarely as a
remnant of the ancient (non existent) pagan gods. He only had to accept the
sacrifice. He didn't have to do anything else, just accept it. That was
enough to incriminate him. It's like a police officer accepting a bribe.
The slaughter and mutilation of an innocent can never solve any problem or
make up for any misdeed.
The Christian god is evil (or non existent strawman), end of story.

The word ransom is associated with abductors and terrorists. Are you too

fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the
precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot." (1
Pet.1: 18,19)
The sacrifice bunt is an important play in baseball. The batter sacrifices
the opportunity to hit safely by bunting the runner to second base. In the
modern game the sacrifice bunt takes on great significance because
salaries are based on batting averages. Total hits translate into millions
of dollars at contract time. Batting averages determine how much money
most professional ball players are worth. Sacrificing can hit a player
hard in the pocketbook.
Life is not a baseball game and a dead innocent person cannot be replaced
simply by playing another round.
Jesus sacrificed himself. Jesus did more than die; he shed his blood.
Thank you.
You have just proven my point regarding the blood thirsty nature of the
Christian God and his direct connection/lineage to the blood thirsty pagan
gods.
The shedding of blood is the biblical language of sacrifice.
It also happens to be the language of the evil mythical (non existent) blood
thirsty pagan gods.
The Bible makes it crystal clear that the hope of the world depends on an
acceptable sacrifice.
The bible is a load of evil shite.
The Aztecs and others thought the very same thing and they were all wrong,
as are you and the rest of your severely duped bible thumping brethren.
Animal sacrifices cannot save sinners. A sacrificial lamb may dramatize
the need for a substitute for fallen men and women, but no animal will do.
Only a human being can substitute for human beings. Human sin demands a
human sacrifice. This Jesus did.
Christ died in the place of sinners.
That's because the evil bible god didn't give a rats a** who did what, and
who was mutilated, just as long as someone was mutilated to please and
pacify him.
God was in Christ when he died. In this the love of God was made manifest
in history.
Love? You have a very strange concept of love.
