Saul Sanderson, lead spokesmen on the newly formed Animal Society for
Sanity, has listed the first act of the political movement to be a
boycott and ban of the god of the bible. Sanderson points out the
numerous disjointed and senseless orders to kill animals despite the
animal's innocence or even victimization. Recently in Wyoming, a sheep
was molested by a herder and it was the sheep that just avoided being
put to death by the local church's congregation. Naturally, this was
due to the adherence to Leviticus 20:15, which instructed them that in
the case of animal-human relations "Put the animal to death."
"My colleagues in ***** are willing to overlook the archaic sacrifices
of their ancestry; their exploitations in the enactments of plagues,
killings, and so on. However, it seems there is a continued bias and
illogic." said Sanderson. "For instance, the devil appears before
Adam and Eve in the form of a serpent. When Adam and Eve are swayed by
the devil in disguise, god lays down the curse on the serpents? This
is beyond killing the messenger! And I can tell you the serpents of
the world can't help but wonder what their lives would be like if
Satan had chosen hippopotami as his desired costume!" The hippopotami
had no comment, but that they support their local *****.
