Axum, Ethiopia - Home of the Ark of the Covenant |
I just added 47 pictures of Axum, Ethiopia and the place where the Ark is
likely kept. I also have pictures of their yearly festival of celebration
called Timkat. The following link will take you there AND two an exclusive
slideshow with altogether different pictures!

I have a friend who was on the building commission and decided to run for
city council on the Republican ticket.
He was honest. While on the commission he asked the builders questions.
Like "Why is there only one road into the development, what would happen in
an emergency?"
and
"If your project does not go in, the roads will be good as the are for
several more years. Who will pay for the development of the roads needed to
support your project?"
He received no support from the party and they threw his brochures away as
soon as he left the building.
