Banned from the Bible - History Channel |
Did anyone watch the documentary on the History Channel called "Banned
from the bible"?
I missed some of it but from what I saw it was saying there are old
books telling of Jesus being bad when 5 years old.
another was about those going to hell being forgiven and going to
heaven. It was banned as people would do evil knowing they would go to
heaven.
It was also about Nicodemus.
The Book of Enoch
The revelation of John.
I'd be interested in other peoples option, comments, etc of this
documentary.

Okay, it's ridiculous. :) Do the things that are evil
and get to Heaven? Be a bad boy and then be the
Savior, who is the sacrifice for sin? Yea, sure, that
makes sense. :)

I taped it! Jesus wasn't being bad, he (Jesus) was accused of pushing another
kid off a building but he didn't do it! Jesus brought back to life the child
who had died to tell what happened.
These "banned" books are very good read! I for one think it was a sin to have

===>"Scripture" is nothing more than "writing". The word,
from Late Latin "scriptura", from Latin, means simply the
act or product of writing, something written.
The compilers of the Bible obviously could not include
every piece of scripture, not even everything
written by everyone claiming to speak for "God"!
They had to pick and choose and included only those things
deemed acceptable. They even had some problems with Revelation,
2 Peter and some others they finally decided to include. -- L.

The Book of Enoch goes into more detail about the fallen angels mixing with the
daughters of Adam. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who aren't even
aware of this because the KJV doesn't go into much detail about it!

The bible is man made, not god made.
Also note, it is retrospective, and not dealing with the present,

At the canonical Gospel of John can be perceived much more

Okay, it's ridiculous. :) Do the things that are evil
and get to Heaven? Be a bad boy and then be the
Savior, who is the sacrifice for sin? Yea, sure, that
makes sense. :)
===>Not everyone thought of Jesus as a sinless
savior god, as did the Paganized Christos Cult of
Saul/Paul of Tarsus.
Anyway, there were many, many varieties of Messianists
and Christians and Gnostics who wrote Gospels and
Epistles and Revelations. Only a select few of those
were compiled in the official "Bible" by the Church
authorities. They picked the ones that were the
least incredible and most consistent with Church teachings.
SEE: "THE OTHER BIBLE", which contains many of these.
Also the "LOST BOOKS OF THE BIBLE", etc. -- L.
Parts of the Bible tends to be more complete when I read some of the
missing scripture. Such as what happened to Adam and Eve when they
left the garden.
It doesn't make those other pieces, "missing
Scripture". There is a reason they are not recognized
as such.
===>Of course there is.
The compiles did not like them. -- L.

In your world, accusations equal proof. Your
accusations have been debunked already. Try to come up
with something new and maybe people will actually
bother with what you write.

Yes, now play dumb. That must be easy for you.

Yes, now play dumb. That was your expected next step.
