Bible Story? |
I believe this story come from the Bible.
The story is about a feast where everyone is suppose to bring a skin of
wine, but one person decides they can bring water and no one would notice.
But it turns out everyone brings water.
I am pretty sure it is a Bible story, but I can't find it right now. Any
know which book, passage?
or am I just mistaken
Thanks,
.

I've read the entire Bible over a dozen times.
I could be wrong, but I do not recall this story
being in it.

Davey, this fellow obviously has confused the story of Jesus turning water
into wine at a wedding feast, recorded in John 2: 1-11...otherwise known as
the miracle at Cana.

No, I know the miracle of cana.
I really thought this other story was in the bible too, but might be
mistaken
I remember hearing it in church, but maybe it wasn't exactly from the bible.
The story was everyone was to bring a skin of wine to go into the communal
vat. One person thought they could get away with just bring water, how would
anyone know with so many people. But when the wine was pour from the vat,
only water came out. As in everyone brought water.

Well, I'm as familiar with the Bible as Davey is, and have to say that I've
never seen that story within its pages.
