Big Question Was Jesus crucied on friday or wendsday |
Read Matt 12:40 and tell me what you think Jesus is saying he ether says
what he means or he was a big faurd my bet is he did what he said and it was
a wendsday and not friday.

Hello,
The Bible shows that Jesus died on Passover day, Nisan 14, on what we
now call Friday. And Jesus had risen by the early morning of we now
call Sunday. (Mr 15:42,43; 16:2-6; Joh 20:1)
In the year 33 A.D., Passover day, Nisan 14 began on Thursday evening
and ran till Friday evening. Jesus died on Friday afternoon and was
buried before the sabbath. (Mr 15:42,43; Joh 19:31) The Sabbath was
over at sundown, Nisan 15.
Thus Jesus died on what we now call a Friday. Yes, Jesus' perfectly
fulfilled his words at Mt 12:40.

You are right bud, he had his last breath taken from him on a
wednesday.......
He rose on a saturday.
2000yrs later as you and I type, man-made traditions get done
out of 'convenience'.
I dont like it, christ doesnt like it, and you dont like it.
There isnt much more to say friend.
This man christ did all the things the book states. The fact that history
records certain things in certain ways doesnt really help much, does it.
Best way to check most things out when unsure is to head for a library
and see what was recorded at the time he was here.
The bible is one such book, but there are many others written by
witness's at the time.
I'll leave you with it bro to figure it out yourself....... and to pass
on
the information you have to your own kids when they ask.
