Object: Cain's free will drove him to kill Abel; free will chose not to get aboard the Ark...
the peculiar thing about man's free will is that he freely chooses
the worse possible thing he can do...
Adam and Eve were the only humans to ever have a truly free " free
will. " though they were ' free ' to obey the command not to take
from the tree of knowledge, they used their free will to choose to
follow Satan.
free will is what the will worshipers want in their plan of
salvation, btw.
they suppose that this mighty free will of theirs jumps at salvation
all the while the Bible says fallen man is now under the supervision
of Satan... marching to his tune... having his hand in their back...
filling his desires. Joh. 8:44
while by faith Abel offered up a better sacrifice than Cain, Cain by
his free will directed by Satan his master, killed Cain.
by Pharaoh's free will he didn't let the Israelites go... free will
is the cause of evil as recorded in the Bible. free will gives the
will worshipers their boast which rebels's against God. free will is
contrary to grace.
Cain knew very well that God required an animal sacrifice. Cain
knew that because God covered Adam and Eve after the fall with animal
skins to cover their nakedness. ( Gen. 3:21 ) they taught that to
Cain since he was the first born... and to Abel, who did what God
required.
that's because Abel acted in faith whereas Cain acted in free will.
free will has a person bringing the wrong sacrifice to God since
free will seeks a boast in the flesh and does not obey God but obeys
Satan... just as our first parents obeyed Satan by their free will.
someone spewing out such verbiage exhorting the lost to " make a
decision for Christ " brings the wrong sacrifice to God just like self
willed Cain. salvation is by grace alone. grace from God unto
salvation is the proper sacrifice to be found with... the only ones
who come to Jesus are the ones God draws to Him. Joh. 6:44
and everyone else simply " walked with Him no more " Joh. 6:66
attracted they are but never to be found with the oil in their
lamps... just as Jesus hearers who came to be amazed by His power and
His words.
( did you ever notice that Jesus never said " you chose Me and
that's why I chose you ? "... that's exactly the gospel of will
worshipers. )
*****************************************************
grace means you don't deserve it... exercising free will means you
do deserve it... therein lies the boast of self willed pride.
free will thinks the things of God are ridiculous... things such as
salvation being of the Lord. ( Ps. 3:8 ) without the inclusion of
mighty man somewhere in the cause of his own salvation is simply too
much to ask from a will worshiper. yet, in plain terms God says :
" Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to come near You. He
shall dwell in Your courts " Ps. 65:4
and why does God do the choosing without any help from man ? it's
to His praise because He did the saving... Eph. 1:3-14 not man...
