Cancelled - repost - did Jesus have long hair? |
Dear Paster,
Last weak at homeskool, me and my bruther was lookin at some pitchures of Jezus, and we sawed he had reel long hairs on his haid. He looks like my sister, Suzanna Beth. I askded my teachur (momma) if that means Jezus were a gay old butt-sniffin' homo like my Mumma's cousin, "Gay Bobby," cause neither of theys never got marryed. But my Mumma did'nt no the anser. Can you pleaze tell us?

Dear Billy-Joe,
God bless you, young man, and thank you for bringing up this important question. I understand it can be difficult when you see all those photographs of Jesus in your Children's Bible and wonder whether you're gazing upon our Beloved Saviour, or just some scruffy hustler swishing along in the Wigstock Parade.
Add to that Jesus' effeminate yearnings for such staples of the homosexual agenda as so-called "peace," "love," and "compassion," and it's perfectly understandable how an good, decent, conservative youngster like yourself would start to out-and-out DESPISE the Lord.
Fortunately, there are perfectly rational reasons for why the earliest known photographs of Jesus show him with girlishly elongated hairs.
First, what you must understand is that after Jesus accepted himself as Lord and Saviour, and became the first Christian - what do you think was the first thing he did? I'll give you a hint - It is a tradition that we here at Chelmsford Baptist carry on to this very day. It is the first thing the Holy Ghost whispers into your ear, the minute you get saved. That's right, Billy-Joe. Jesus got a haircut.
The reason you see so many pictures of Jesus with long hair is because those pictures were drawn by unsaved people. Most of them were drawn by hell-bound, pasta-slurping, Mary-worshipping, hell-bound Catholics.
Jesus had short hair, Billy-Joe. And He was always clean-shaven for the last three years of His life here on Earth. Can you imagine how painful it must have been for Him to pluck His nose hairs with a wooden tweezers? He did it for you, Billy. He did it because He loves you, not the way a homosexual loves another man, but the way a Father loves his son. And you must follow His example.
If the false images of Jesus with long hair are a stumbling block for you, then just tear them out of your Bible. For a more accurate example of what Jesus would look like if He were walking amongst us today, just gaze on the portrait of our Godly President, George W. Bush, hanging in the main sanctuary.
If you'd like to have the pictures of Jesus in your Bible replaced with photographs of President Bush, then ask your mother to contact Youth Pastor. We have printed out several thousand copies of a new children's Bible with the pictures already replaced.

Hair IS shocking and disgusting on ANY animmal, let alone a MAN, my
dear, and it has been a cause for Holy Crusaides throughout histery.
king James hated hair so much that his scientists were forced to invent
Syphallus until barbers shops were discovered mutch, mutch later , and
Adolf Hitler himselves demanded that ALL of his SS officers bathed in
Immac , almoast on a daily basis.

I hope this finds all well and in good spirit.
To the 14th christian, please consider the following Commandment (one
of the two that Christ gave us all):
Matthew 7:1-4
1 JUDGE NOT, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of
thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
The other Commandment that Christ gave us can be found in Matthew 5:44
below:
Mathew 5:43-48
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour,
and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, bless
them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them
which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the
children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to
rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on
the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?
do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren
only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be
ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is
perfect.

.... witch Sort of pre-supposes that any Judgements we make will be
WRONG, Bob. yep, i Wouldst get worried if my bad judgements are
metered against me. but If i make GOOD judgements - what hafe i Two

I hope this finds all well and in good spirit...THE ONLY GOOD
SPIRIT...GOD!!!
To the 14th disciple, it was not my intention to confuse you. Please
allow me to explain.
I did not say good "spirits" which could certainly mean alcoholic
beverages. What I did say was good spirit (singular) which can ONLY
mean one thing--God,, our Heavenly Father, just as Christ-Jesus told
us:
Matthew 19:16-17
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good
thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto
him, Why callest thou me good? THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS,
GOD: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Please do not think that I would encourage others to egage in behavior
that is harmful to their body or allows them to try to escape reality
and serve their selfish interests. I would not do that.
The more important question is if Christ told us all that even He was
not good whilst in the body of Jesus (that is what He is saying above
in verse 17), why would anyone think their own judgments were good,
please? If you want to know what you should fear, Christ explained
that very clearly to us as well:
Matthew 10:28
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the
soul: but rather FEAR HIM WHICH IS ABLE TO DESTROY BOTH SOUL AND BODY
IN HELL-FIRE.
Hopefully everyone will understand and accept this and begin to live as
God has COMMANDED us to live--by His Laws--which are all found in the
first five books of The Bible. If we choose not to do so, we can
expect THE CURSES OF THE LAW which are explained in great detail in
Deuteronomy 28. Please read ALL of The Law for yourself; they are THE
ONLY LEGAL LAWS ON THIS PLANET.

I hope this finds all well and in good spirit.
To Ike, thank-you for your reply; please reconsider what you are
saying; "The Way" (John 14:6) home (to heaven) CANNOT be through The
Fire (the hell-fire that awaits 99.998% of the world on Judgment Day).
If one properly understands Revelation 12:7-9, the reason WHY we are
all here becomes evident. Knowing the answer to that question is key
to understanding everything else in the book of Revelation.

i Think i understand, but couldst It also include drugs, Rab? i Mean,
alcohaul is a form of Drugs issent it? so Assumeably yoar statement
could include drugs witch i think The LOARD doth NOT dissaproave of. i
Mean somtimes i Hafe to take my drugs to keep me 'level' (as Mrs.
Walters puts it) but if i Am in 'Good Spurts' from my drugs doth that
mean that The LOARD are God will NOT loave me no moar??

Good evening.
I hope all is well with you.
If I may share with you please, ALL drugs (prescription,
over-the-counter or "illegal") are considered to be pharmacy/witchcraft
and SHOULD NOT BE USED! God does not want us to drink alcoholic
beverages or take drugs of any kind.
From The King of kings' Bible:
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these];
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
5:20 Idolatry, PHARMACY, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the
which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that
they which do such things shall NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.
The real you is a spirit/soul that has been locked in this body for
treason against God (Rev. 12:7-9). These bodies allow us to feel pain,
which allows God to tell/show us what we are doing wrong so that we may
correct our behavior. When we take drugs, drink or smoke to escape
reality or pain we are telling God we do not care enough to pay
attention to what He is trying to show us.
God loves you, but you must show Him that you love him to. Please do
not buy into the lie that doctors can "heal" you with drugs--they
cannot. When I say to you I hope you are in "good spirit" it is the
same as if I say to you I hope you are "with The Lord Our God".

Jesus was obviously a nice guy and did some wild and crazy stuff for
the crowds.
Water into wine, walking on water, etc, etc.. Still there had to be
talk. A single
guy "crusing" with twelve guys in robes and wearing open toed sandals
had to cause some questionable script in the local yellow
papyrus sheets of the time.
Surely His Mom had to be concerned about his daily shenanigans, and
especially when he told her he was thinking about joining the Publican
Log Cabin Club of Greater Bethlehem.
