Hi,
My name is Heather. I am currently a student at Sonoma State
University. I have been a christian for many years. One I left for
college my committment and faith slowly began to weaken. I wanted to
participate in a group conversation so that I could get some different
views on other peoples' faith. I am curious to see how others faith
and beliefs have changed over time, especially within those who have
been through college.

Hi Heather,
You will find that there are as many variations in people's beliefs and
faith as there are people.
When I first moved out of home for work I was taken back by the world and
was led astray in my naivity. All I can say is that I am back on track now,
and here are some of my advice to help you avoid the 20 year detour I made.
Don't compromise your integrity, for this is what erodes your morality. Just
because everyone else is doing it, doesnt make it right. It doesnt mean it
has been thought out. Everyone sees things in their own unique way. Do not
be deceived. Don't be intimidated by others or group pressure.
Stick to treating others well and kind. This is the essence of God's love.
(The golden rule of being an example by treating others how you want to be
treated)
