For unsaved or unrepentant little sinners. What would such a
place look like? An endless, sulfur-smelling cavern furnished
with scalded-down torture implements, operated by hideous
demons bearing resemblance to the Sesame Street Muppets?

Hello,
But you need to tell all of it. The torture implements are also toys
and teddy bears etc, except that these teddy bears bite!
Since that place of hell fire Christendom teaches is fictitious, then
we can come up with all kinds of scenarios to spice up the fiction.
There is one common FACT among reasoning humans everywhere. LOVE and
TORTURE do not go together. Love and justice yes, love and torture,
no. What loving parent uses fire as a means to punish his disobedient
children? Neither does God! Actually, even the CONCEPT of burning
alive humans never even entered God's mind. Jer 7:31,
"They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben
Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire--something I did
not command, nor did it enter my mind." (NIV)
No, God never designed such a place as Christendom's 'hellfire' place.

I can't believe that you take my belief seriously before you have

Can you imagine a creator, or a god if you like, that had no designer
or intelligent maker?
