christians and muslims - two peas in a pod |
christians and muslims, two pieces of *****.
muslims believe that if they strap on a bomb and blow something up, they
will go to heaven with 72 virgins.
lmao, how fucking stupid can people be.
christians believe that their god tells them to blow up abortion clinics,
after all, their "loving, caring" god MURDERS lots of people, so why
shouldn't they do it too. You have to wonder what kind of warped fucking
thinking says killing is wrong, so then they go kill people in order to
"stop the killing"
christians and muslims, two peas in a prod, both pieces of *****.

The Bible does NOT command people to kill. Quite the
contrary. One of the Commandments is "You shall not
kill". So you are wrong.

Thanks to George Carlin:
THOU SHALT NOT KILL
Murder. But when you think about it, religion has never really had a big
problem with murder. More people have been killed in the name of god than
for any other reason. All you have to do is look at Northern Ireland,
Kashmir, the Inquisition, the Crusades, and the World Trade Center to see
how seriously the religious folks take thou shalt not kill. The more devout
they are, the more they see murder as being negotiable. It depends on who's
doin the killin' and who's gettin' killed

more people have been killed in the name of god than for all other "reasons"
combined.
by the way, in the bible, the "loving, caring" god DEMANDS that people
MURDER their only son as a sacrifice to him.
Genesis 22:2
Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go
to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of
the mountains I will tell you about.
the almighty, all-powerful invisible non-existant jackass in the sky admits
he is a mass murderer.
Genesis 8:21
The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will
I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his
heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living
creatures, as I have done.

No. Violent-minded zombie dickheads abusing Islam to justify their hatred
believe this. Real Muslims do not.

But who am I kidding? You are not interested in facts. You are only
trying to justify your own hatred.
That pod comfortable enough for you, SheBlew?

Muslims and Christians do have one thing in common though... they tend
to not think for themselves. People of great faith tend to be scared
of death and will do whatever is in their power to ensure something
good will happen....whether it's blow yourself up or go to church every
Sunday and donate all your money to it. Another aspect of religion
that I despise is their belief that a person "needs" religion to be a
good person. What the hell is that all about?? I was always raised to
be a good person and treat humans with respect. And not to negatively
influence others. Pretty basic stuff in my opinion. Definately don't
need religion for that....just a good upbringing.
Religion is a crutch for the weak and ignorant. That's all. Religion
is always there for you when you can't figure life out on your own.
It's pathetic and I wish they would keep to themselves and leave the
rest of us alone.

Well, it's an easy stereotype, certainly.
People of great faith tend to be scared of death and will do whatever
is in their power to ensure something
good will happen....whether it's blow yourself up or go to church every
Sunday and donate all your money to it.
I speak as someone who no longer has any particular fear of death. But
once I did - and it may interest you (or not) that that period was probably
the time when I was least religious.
But when it comes to this ultimate unknown, I think a person has every
right to fear it if they wish. If one must be mocked for fearing death,
then none of us can really have the right to fear anything.
For sure, I don't believe that any such fear can justify murder. But then,
I choose to recognise a difference between those who hold a religious
belief and those who USE a religion in order to excuse hatred and violence
- whether they do so directly, or whether they do so through the
exploitation of admittedly mindless cretins. Such cretins do not, as far
as I am aware, constitute the majority of the religious.
Another aspect of religion
that I despise is their belief that a person "needs" religion to be a
good person.
Again, it is all too easy to assume that the few represent the all. In my
experience at least, the more common view is that people do NOT need
religion to be good, but that those who are religious can be truer to their
religion if they are good. For that matter, it is a given that the
possession of a religion does not prevent people from being evil. What you
may be referring to is the Christian belief that one must accept Christ's
sacrifice in order to enter Heaven. But even that is debatable, even
amongst Christians. Just consider the number of spats on these groups
about salvation by grace or salvation by works. But even if we accept that
principle, it doesn't necessarily follow that one needs to be 'saved' AFTER
life to be moral IN life.
What the hell is that all about?? I was always raised to
be a good person and treat humans with respect. And not to negatively
influence others. Pretty basic stuff in my opinion. Definately don't
need religion for that....just a good upbringing.
Indeed. I would like to believe that I adhere to a similar code - and I
have stuck to it as a Christian, as an atheist, and as a pagan.
Religion is a crutch for the weak and ignorant. That's all.
And I might equally argue that prejudicial assessments such as this are a
crutch for you. But you make your opinions, and others will make theirs.
It's pathetic and I wish they would keep to themselves and leave the
rest of us alone.
The ones who leave you alone are the ones you do not notice.
