Items quoted from THE ALMANAC OF THE CHRISTIAN WORLD,
1991-1992 Edition (Tyndale, 1990), page 305+.
61AD - Colossians 1:6 (HCSB):
....the gospel that has come to you. It is bearing
fruit and growing all over the world, just as it
has among you since the day you heard it and
recognized God's grace in the truth.
c. 140AD - Hermas writes: "The Son of God ...
has been preached to the ends of the earth"
(Shepherd of Hermas).
197AD - Tertullian (c160-222) ... writes ... "There is
no nation indeed which is not Christian" ...
c. 205AD - Clement of Alexandria (c155-215) ... writes
"The whole world, with Athens and Greece, has already
become the domain of the Word."
c. 310 - Eusebius of Caesarea (c265-339) writes ...
"The doctrine of the Saviour has irradiated the whole
oikoumene (whole inhabited earth)"
378 - Jerome (c345-419) writes: "From India to Britain,
all nations resound with the death and resurrection of
Christ". estimates 1.9 million Christians* to have been
martyred since AD33 (out of 120 million Christians). ...
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in
all the world for a witness unto all nations; AND THEN
shall the end come." - Matthew 24:14
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their
sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the
ends of the world (oikoumene)." - Romans 10:17-18
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature." - Mark 16:15
"If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be
not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye
have heard, and which was preached to every creature
which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister."
- Colossians 1:23
It is clear that both Paul and these "church fathers" said
that the Gospel had been preached to all nations. But
you and those like you, look at the word TODAY and
claim that it hasn't happened yet, because of how many
people and nations there are TODAY. Well, Jesus didn't
say it TODAY and neither did the Apostles, nor the
"church fathers". All that is important, is what existed
back then, when it was actually SAID!
Furthermore, Jesus said that once this happened, THE END
would come. But because you think you're God and can
correct the Bible, you have your own interpretation of what
"the end" means and then claim this can't be right, wishing
you were arguing with me, but in reality, arguing against
God, His Christ and His word!
Jesus said: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
AND THEN shall the end come." - Matthew 24:14
Chuck says: "And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the modern world, as I view it in my
21st century time frame, for a witness unto all nations
that exist now, today and preached according to my
interpretation, or they are heretics and they had better
not bring up the fact that Paul said it already happened
in the first century, because I will attack them for it
and no, the end will not come until I say it can! and
by the way, Dave is a heretic!" - Chuckies 3:14
Randy says: "The phrase 'and then' does not necessitate
that it must happen right then. Rather, Peter said it would
be thousands of years off. After all, if one day is 1,000
years (a rule I made up and whip out only when Dave
has me cornered on something to do with time statements
in the New Testament and it's convenient for my doctrine,
but never otherwise), then even if we say it had to happen
within one week of the Gospel being preached, then we
still would have 5,000 more years to go! Besides this,
'then' can really mean any amount of time and besides,
there's a gap there, just like the one I stuck in Dan 7.
And we don't have to respond to this anyway. All that
is necessary, is that we change the subject and then
pretend that Dave would respond on point. And since
I say all of this is true, I am genuinely confused as to
why Dave such a heretic, preaching such heresy?!
Doesn't he know that whenever I say that the Bible
'plainly teaches' something, that makes it true?!"
- Randies 8:62
The real truth folks, is that the "church fathers" I quoted
said that it happened and so did Paul! The truth is, that
Jesus said that it would happen and that THEN the end
would come! Not "thousands of years later"! THEN!!!
"...and THEN the end shall come". JESUS HIMSELF
said that, did He not?
And why am I quoting these "church fathers"? Well,
before Futurists start claiming that I am treating their
writings as if they're Scripture, let us not forget that
it was Chucky boy who demanded evidence from
these so called "church fathers". I don't think they
should even be called that. But when I kept providing
evidence from them about how they viewed 70 AD,
Chucky Cheeze kept moving the goal posts and even
now, after a direct quote about the fulfillment of
Daniel'd 70 weeks and the coming of Christ, all he
has to say is, "No he didn't say that!". <chuckle>
Now it's up to whomever reads it, if they want to believe
what I quoted this person saying. I was merely providing
the proof that it was said to Chuck and he backed out of
his promise to admit he was wrong when he said that
no church father ever believed/said that sort of thing.
Randy of course, responds by trying to change the subject
and ignores it and acts ashamed that anyone would dare
disagree with him, because after all, he knows what "the
Bible plainly teaches", right? Randy can't be wrong and
so, any word that gets in the way in the Bible, or anywhere
else, suddenly has the opposite meaning.
But as I said, the reality is, they said what they said.
Argue with them, not me. I didn't write it. :)

Now watch the responses, if any. Snip, snip and "Nuh uh,
'cause I said so and the Bible says what I say it does and
let me just ignore that verse and show you this one, so
that I can try to fight Scripture with Scripture! Or better
yet, let me lead you all around the Bible playing word
games, until you forget what we were talking about!".

"I am not permitted to let my love be so merciful
as to tolerate and endure false doctrine. When
faith and doctrine are concerned and endangered,
neither love nor patience are in order... For
a defective life does not destroy Christendom,
but exercises it. However, defective doctrine
and false faith ruin everything. Therefore, when
these are concerned, neither toleration nor mercy
are in order, but only anger, dispute and
destruction - to be sure, only with the Word
of God as our weapon." - Martin Luther
