More Penrose Hospital Employees Losing Their Jobs

More Penrose Hospital employees wil be losing their jobs. Thirty-three
workers learned they will be out work. Since last fall, 34 other employees
have been laid off.
In addition to the lay-offs, the equivalent of 178 full time positions have
been reduced, meaning more employees are losing hours.
Penrose spokeswoman Julie Armstrong says the lay-offs are not related to the
expansion project. She also claims no future jobs cuts are planned.
