" I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for

wonderfully, the false gospel of salvation by personal talent is
exposed once again by the Bible as the lie that it is.

here we have in this verse of Holy Scripture Jesus words which
identify unbelief as only one of many sins, for He says to His
listeners that they shall die in their " sins " ( plural, ) unbelief
being among them since He was speaking to unbelievers.

these words of Jesus make it clear that unbelief is ranked right
along with other sins. unbelief in the Bible means,
" unfaithfulness; untrustworthiness " and the lack of belief unto
salvation certainly does not mean as the Fundamentalists propose, that
Christ paid the penalty for all sins except the sin of unbelief, as
this verse illustrates.

wonderfully, the Word of God is like a hammer which shatters rock.
Jer. 23:29

again we read, " And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His
name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins."
( Mt. 1:21 ) the doctrine is " sins " plural, unbelief being among
them.

in the explanation of the redemptive work of God in Christ in
Ephesians Chapter 2 the apostle again and again refers to the former
state of being of regenerate believers as that of carrying on in a
multitude of sins, saying... " trespasses; sins; lusts; desires " and
so on, unbelief being among them.

believing is the result of salvation and not the cause of it. ( Acts
13:48; Joh.1:12,13; Joh.6:24; Eph.2:4-9 ) so that God gets the
glory for the doing, not man ( Eph. 2:8,9. ) man loves to say " I was
the one who did it ! "... " by my talent is chose Christ ! "

these have their reward.
