Crying Out |
"The person who comes passionately before God is crying out from the heart.
It is the urgent appeal of the soul, looking and searching earnestly for
God's presence. As far as I know the only requirement is that we are
"righteous" before God. A righteous person is not a perfect person but one
who has accepted Christ as Savior and has been imputed the righteousness of
Jesus. "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them" (Psalm 34:17). As
children of God, we have the inalienable right to bear our souls before our
Father and pour out our hearts before him. We should follow the example of
David: He poured out his "complaint" before the Lord (Psalm 142:2).
The heart cry of the desperate person isn't concerned about how his petition
is worded or phrased. All that matters is an unburdening of the soul before
God. It is after all the heart that God is most interested in, and the
person who comes in heartfelt need is never turned away by our gracious
Lord.

Psalm 61:1
"Hear my cry, O God: listen to my prayer."

You're thoroughly correct in everything you say and so my heart is given the
need to cry out. I murdered six people over the last four years and ten
people before that, but before you or God judges me I would like to say
this: Not only did I have a poor upbringing, but I was bullied throughout
my life by relatives, friends and then my wife.
The last guy I murdered refused to pay for the drugs he bought off me and
that's after I was generous enough to give him credit. I warned him twice,
he tried to hide from me and then it was the last straw, so I killed him.
It was deliberate, but hey the state of Texas kills more people than most
places in the world and sometimes those on death row are innocent, whereas I
know this guy owed me money and was totally guilty, so why shouldn't I kill
him?
The lord will still let me into heaven right?
I mean I have been honest and all and I didn't kill anyone for no reason.
This is my cry from the heart, as I didn't want to kill any of these people.
They forced me to do it.
I still get to go to heaven right?
