Our armchair lone ranger bible reader opined:
"Nothing happens by chance because everything happens by GOD. "The lot
is cast into the lap but its every decision comes from the LORD." --
King Solomon (Proverbs 16:33)"
Jesus Christ, Luke:
010:031 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and
when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
God bless.

"All things the non-believers would attribute to either time or chance
happens by GOD." -- Holy Spirit.
Snipped "inconvenient" actual quote from actual Scripture,
snipped by The Chung in his tireless attempts to warp
God's own pronouncements closer to Chung's own play-world:
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not

Either that or it happened by chance :-)

Did not reach it earlier. It remains my choice to cross only those
bridges that I reach. This serves well to illustrate that "time and
chance" are controlled by GOD.
"Rain falls on the heads of the righteous as well as the unrighteous."
-- Holy Spirit.
Amen.
And, so GOD controls the "time and chance that happeneth to them all."
Bottom line:
Chance remains a fictional construct used by GOD for HIS illustrative
purposes to make fools out of all non-believers:

***** jesus. On easter, you get maybe a basket of candy,
jelly beans -- gelatin and sugar with artificial flavors -- mostly.
On Halloween, you get a whole fucking bag -- including

So you accuse our Lord of using a falsehood in illustration of a deeper
truth? What a silly silly lame excuse for being found wrong from the
lips of our Lord Himself. Havd you no shame?
"Many thanks, much praise, and all the glory to GOD for HIS compelling

You may thank God that there are at least 5 others in scripture not
parables in addition to the one another poster provided. Here are but
two from the NT alone:
Luke, Acts:
=17] So he argued in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout
persons, and in the market place every day with those who chanced to
be
and:
=12] And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the
majority advised to put to sea from there, on the chance that somehow
they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete, looking northeast and
southeast, and winter there.there.
So you may now thank God he has used me and others to correct your
mistake.

So in other words, anything that you or I would think happens by
chance really happened by God directly, or by Him allowing it. That's
the lesson here.
Jesus Christ, Luke:
010:031 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and
when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
God bless.
And so given the understanding from the previous verse of what we
would normally think when someone mentions something happening "by
chance", what this verse really means to those who know better is: By
the will of God there came down a certain priest that way..
