BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Insurgents killed two high-ranking Iraqi police
officials and wounded a third in a series of attacks Thursday morning,
police sources said. Two other police officers were wounded in the
shootings.
Col. Hamad Ubeyis, chief of central Baghdad's al-Salihiya police station,
was killed when gunmen opened fire on his marked police car. Two officers
traveling with him to work were injured.
Col. Aiyad Abdul Razaq, chief deputy of Jisrdiala police station, was gunned
down in al-Za'faraniyah neighborhood in southeastern Baghdad as he was
driving to his work.
Gen. Adbul Karim Raheem, an Iraqi police official working in the Interior
Ministry, was critically wounded during an attack on his car in the al-Amin
neighborhood, also in southeast Baghdad.
Raheem was transferred to al-Kindi hospital for treatment, police said.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the killings of 26 people whose
bodies were found Tuesday in an Iraqi village near the Syrian border, all
with gunshot wounds to the forehead.
Other violence Wednesday included suicide bomb attacks in Baghdad and
al-Habbaniya; an attack on a bus carrying workers to a job site in Abu
Ghraib; and a roadside bomb attack that killed a U.S. soldier from Task
Force Baghdad.
Another soldier was wounded in the attack.
The soldier's death brings the number of U.S. troop fatalities in the war to
1,509.
All victims were shot in forehead
The 26 bodies were found Tuesday evening by Iraqi police in the village of
al-Rumana in western Iraq near the city of Qaim, part of the restive region
where U.S. forces have cranked up their hunt for insurgents during the past
few weeks.
According to Qaim hospital director Dr. Hamdi al-Aloussi, all of the victims
were shot in the forehead. A police officer said they were dressed in
civilian clothes. A woman's body was among the dead. Police had not
identified the bodies.
Police think the killings happened four days ago. That was toward the end of
Operation River Blitz, the Marine-led assault on insurgents in Euphrates
River valley towns such as Ramadi, Hit, Hadita and Qaim.
Marines operating in the area are looking into the reports of the 26 bodies.
As for River Blitz, the operation started February 20 and ended Saturday,
but Marines say they intend to maintain the momentum from the push, which
resulted in many arrests and the discovery of weapons.
"We have disrupted their operations, detained high-level individuals, and
reduced their weapons caches," said Craig Tucker, commander of Regimental
Combat Team 7 of 1st Marine Division.
Last summer, 13 bodies were found in Qaim, victims of another mass killing.
The al-Rumana mass killing was the second discovered Tuesday. Earlier, 15
beheaded bodies were found in a vacated military warehouse, an officer from
the Iraqi emergency police services said.
The Iraqi army discovered the unidentified bodies, the officer said. The
warehouse is on the road from Latifya to Karbala, south of Baghdad. It has
not yet been determined when the people were killed.
In southern Baghdad, the bodies of two people thought to be working with
U.S. forces were found stuffed in barrels Tuesday night, a police official
said.
The official said the two -- Sajed Radi Ali and Ali Kadhem Mohammed -- were
believed to have been working for the multinational forces at a nearby base.
The dead men were in separate barrels found in the Canal Street area, he
said, and with each body was a note that said: "He was a traitor working
with the Americans, so he was to be killed."
Insurgents in Iraq have targeted anyone perceived as cooperating with the
interim government or multinational forces.
Other developments
a.. In central Baghdad, a suicide bomber driving a garbage truck detonated
early Wednesday near the Ministry of Agriculture, killing two people and
wounding 22 others, emergency police said. The bomber also died in the
attack.
a.. Also in Baghdad, gunmen early Wednesday opened fire on a minibus
carrying employees to work, killing one and wounding three others, according
to Iraqi Police Emergency Services. The workers, employed by a Kuwaiti
company, came under small-arms fire in the Zayuna neighborhood around 7:30
a.m. (11:30 p.m. ET Tuesday). They were headed to work in Abu Ghraib.
a.. Wednesday evening in Baghdad, gunmen fired at the convoy of Iraqi
Planning Minister Mehdi al-Hafidh, killing one bodyguard and wounding two
others, police said. The minister was not injured, authorities said.
a.. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, speaking to Parliament on
Wednesday, said the Italian intelligence agent shot dead last week by
American troops had informed U.S. military personnel that he would be
escorting a newly released hostage to the airport. The account runs contrary
to U.S. claims

he is less powerful than satan. is that what you're telling me ?

MOSUL, Iraq - A suicide bomber on Thursday killed at least 47 Iraqis at a
Shiite mosque in this northern city as mourners were gathered for a funeral
service.
Saher Maher, a doctor at Mosul's hospital, said 47 people had died and that
at least 90 were injured.
American troops cordoned off the area around the mosque, but witnesses said
the attack took place during a funeral.
"As we were inside the mosque, we saw a ball of fire and heard a huge
explosion," said Tahir Abdullah Sultan. "After that blood and pieces of
flesh were scattered around the place."
The attack was the first against a Shiite mosque in Mosul, where Shiites
make up a small minority.
It came as Iraq's main Shiite party and a Kurdish bloc reached a deal that
sets the stage for a new government to be formed when the National Assembly
convenes next week.
The explosion took place in the courtyard of the mosque, which is still
under construction and surrounded by many homes.

God the mass MURDERER on a roll
every other mass MURDERER takes a break from killing people once in

GOD THE MASS MURDERER

Oh honey, you ain't seen nothing yet..
Luke 17:26-29
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the
Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came,
and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank,
they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven, and destroyed them all.
KJV
Isa 9:16-19
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led
of them are destroyed.
17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall
have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and
an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not
turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and
thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount
up like the lifting up of smoke.
19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the
people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
KJV
Isa 13:9-11
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce
anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof
out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give
their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon
shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their
iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay
low the haughtiness of the terrible.
KJV
So you see, it doesn't pay to be EVIL. Be careful or you may be next.

SAN DIEGO, California (AP) -- A woman died after a fumigation crew pumped
toxic gas into her condominium building to kill termites, authorities said.
Residents had been advised to leave, signs were posted throughout the
building, and fumigation crews did a walk-through to make sure it was empty,
authorities said. But fumigation workers started hearing screams several
hours later from the three-story building.
Rescuers pulled out 37-year-old Linda Williams, who died at a hospital
Monday, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Wednesday.
The Medical Examiner's office said Williams was a resident of the building.
Police were questioning a relative of Williams, her boyfriend and the
fumigation workers to determine what went wrong.
The cause of death was not immediately determined. Investigators said they
would need at least six weeks to receive results of toxicology tests.
D&S Fumigation was using sulfuryl fluoride, a gas that can be fatal if
inhaled, said county Agriculture Commissioner Kathleen Thuner.
A message left for the company not immediately returned.

were believed to have been working for the multinational forces at a
nearby base.

The dead men were in separate barrels found in the Canal Street area, he
said, and with each body was a note that said: "He was a traitor working
with the Americans, so he was to be killed."

Insurgents in Iraq have targeted anyone perceived as cooperating with the
interim government or multinational forces.

Perhaps you should ask yourself who God is, so that you can start to
understand the answer to your questions.

Col. Aiyad Abdul Razaq, chief deputy of Jisrdiala police station, was
gunned down in al-Za'faraniyah neighborhood in southeastern Baghdad as he
was driving to his work.

Gen. Adbul Karim Raheem, an Iraqi police official working in the Interior
Ministry, was critically wounded during an attack on his car in the
al-Amin neighborhood, also in southeast Baghdad.

The soldier's death brings the number of U.S. troop fatalities in the war
to 1,509.

All victims were shot in forehead
The 26 bodies were found Tuesday evening by Iraqi police in the village
of al-Rumana in western Iraq near the city of Qaim, part of the restive
region where U.S. forces have cranked up their hunt for insurgents during
the past few weeks.

According to Qaim hospital director Dr. Hamdi al-Aloussi, all of the
victims were shot in the forehead. A police officer said they were
dressed in civilian clothes. A woman's body was among the dead. Police
had not identified the bodies.

Police think the killings happened four days ago. That was toward the end
of Operation River Blitz, the Marine-led assault on insurgents in
Euphrates River valley towns such as Ramadi, Hit, Hadita and Qaim.

Marines operating in the area are looking into the reports of the 26
bodies.

Last summer, 13 bodies were found in Qaim, victims of another mass
killing.

The al-Rumana mass killing was the second discovered Tuesday. Earlier, 15
beheaded bodies were found in a vacated military warehouse, an officer
from the Iraqi emergency police services said.

The Iraqi army discovered the unidentified bodies, the officer said. The
warehouse is on the road from Latifya to Karbala, south of Baghdad. It
has not yet been determined when the people were killed.

In southern Baghdad, the bodies of two people thought to be working with
U.S. forces were found stuffed in barrels Tuesday night, a police
official said.

The official said the two -- Sajed Radi Ali and Ali Kadhem Mohammed --
were believed to have been working for the multinational forces at a
nearby base.

The dead men were in separate barrels found in the Canal Street area, he
said, and with each body was a note that said: "He was a traitor working

MARRERO, Louisiana (AP) -- Flames engulfed an apartment where a family was
using candles because their electricity had not yet been turned on, killing
11 people whose exit was blocked when they tried to drag out a burning
mattress, authorities said. Four survivors jumped to safety from a
second-story window.
The victims ranged in age from 6 months to 42 years, police said. Their
names were not immediately released by police.
The family was using candles for light or heat because they had moved into
the apartment the day before and didn't have electricity, Jefferson Parish
Sheriff Harry Lee said. A mattress caught fire and the family became trapped
when they tried to haul it outside, he said.
"The mattress got jammed in the door so the mattress actually blocked the
only means of escape," Lee said.
The apartment, in a lower-to-middle-class neighborhood across the
Mississippi River from New Orleans, was totally aflame when rescue workers
arrived shortly before 5 a.m.
David Jarriet, a neighbor who went outside to get his paper, had called 911.
"I heard windows popping," he said. "I saw flames. They were rolling."
Other neighbors who were awakened by the fire poured into the street and
reported hearing screams and cries for help.
It appeared that some of the victims died of smoke inhalation and some of
burns, Mark Goldman of the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office said. Autopsies
were planned.
The four survivors were apparently not seriously injured. They were taken to
the sheriff's office for questioning.
The building was owned by Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputy Ernest Pierre,
who said he did not know why 15 people were in the apartment. He said he had
rented it to a woman who said she would be living there with her daughter
and the daughter's three children.
There was some confusion about why electric power was off. Pierre said the
renter apparently had service turned off so the account could be shifted to
her name.
The burned building was faced with siding. Part of the second-story wall
appeared to have been blown out or knocked in, and was covered with soot.
