The Antichrist will be worshipped: "All that dwell
upon the earth shall worship him" (Revelation 13:8).
The Antichrist is he "who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple
of God, shewing himself that he is God"
(2 Thessalonians 2:4).
But how could the world be convinced to worship a
mere man as God?
In two ways: 1. By miracles; 2. By God's will.
The Antichrist's "coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in
them that perish; because they received not the love
of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this
cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they
should believe a lie: that they all might be damned
who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness" (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
The Antichrist will have a False Prophet who will
deceive the world through miracles: "The false
prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which
he deceived them" (Revelation 19:20); "And he doeth
great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and
deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means
of those miracles which he had power to do"
(Revelation 13:13-14).
Even those who claim to be Christians will have to
be careful not to be deceived: "For false Christs and
false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and
wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the
elect. But take ye heed; behold, I have foretold you
all things" (Mark 13:22-23).
"The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter
times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils"
(1 Timothy 4:1). "There come a falling away
(apostasia)" (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
But what "doctrines of devils" could cause even
those who claim to be Christians to depart from the
faith and commit apostasy? Christians must watch out
especially for two key antichrist doctrines --
1. Christ isn't flesh; 2. Jesus himself isn't the
Christ.
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the
Christ? He is antichrist" (1 John 2:22); "Many
deceivers are entered into the world, who confess
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is
a deceiver and an antichrist" (2 John 1:7).
Because anyone who teaches these two doctrines is
an antichrist, there are "many antichrists"
(1 John 2:18). But true believers also know that a
single "antichrist shall come" (1 John 2:18); the
day is coming when "That man of sin be revealed, the
son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God" (2 Thessalonians
2:3-4).
It's important to remember that "Anti"-Christ doesn't
have to mean "against"-Christ; it can mean "instead
of" Christ in the sense that the Antichrist could
claim to embody the true Christ, just as during the
Middle Ages an "Anti-Pope" was someone who claimed to
be the true Pope instead of another Pope who reigned
at the same time.
But how could the Antichrist, a man of flesh, claim
to embody the true Christ when one of his key
doctrines will be that Christ isn't flesh?
One way he could do this would be to call upon his
other key doctrine: that the man Jesus isn't the
Christ. He could claim that while Jesus was perfectly
filled with the Spirit of Christ, Jesus himself
wasn't the Christ, so Christ himself was never flesh.
The Antichrist could then say that he is the second
coming of Christ in the same way as Jesus was the
first coming of Christ; that is, that the Spirit of
Christ has returned from heaven to indwell and act
and speak through him, the Antichrist, just as
Christ did through Jesus, and that he, the Antichrist,
is to be worshipped as both Christ and God just as
the man Jesus was: "Thou art the Christ" (John 11:27);
"My Lord and my God" (John 20:28).
So the Antichrist could claim that noone has to stop
being a Christian in order to worship him, a mere
man, as God, for he is both Christ and God, in the
exact same sense that Jesus was.
The truth is that Christians do not worship just some
spirit of Christ, who can descend to be embodied in
different people over time. Instead, true Christians
must worship only "JESUS Christ of Nazareth" (Acts
4:10-12), and wait for His second coming: "This same
Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall
so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into
heaven" (Acts 1:11). This means that JESUS Christ of
Nazareth must descend bodily from heaven just as He
ascended bodily into heaven.
And His bodily descent will be accompanied by the
bodily resurrection and rapture of all true
believers: "For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thessalonians
4:16-17).
At Jesus' second coming, all true believers will be
physically resurrected just as Jesus was: "For a
spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have"
(Luke 24:39); "We look for the Saviour, the Lord
Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that
it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body"
(Philippians 3:20-21).
If we as Christians reject the truth of the physical
resurrection of Jesus, and reject the truth of the
physical resurrection of true believers at His
return, and reject the truth that His return will be
a physical descent from heaven, then we have prepared
ourselves perfectly to be deceived by the Antichrist.
The Antichrist's False Prophet will "prove" to the
whole world that the Antichrist truly is Christ and
God in exactly the same manner that Elijah proved
to Israel that YHWH is God -- by calling down fire
from heaven: "Then the fire of YHWH fell . . . And
when all the people saw it, they fell on their
faces: and they said, YHWH, he is the God; YHWH, he
is the God" (1 Kings 18:38-39). "He maketh fire come
down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do"
(Revelation 13:13-14).
Even though the False Prophet will employ the same
miraculous sign as Elijah, he and the Antichrist
could employ their sign as "proof" that YHWH is NOT
God, for the Antichrist will blaspheme YHWH and get
the whole world to worship the dragon Satan instead;
"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto
the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who
is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with
him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies; and power was given
unto him to continue forty and two months. And he
opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that
dwell in heaven" (Revelation 13:4-6).
The Antichrist could claim that the Spirit of Christ
is none other than Lucifer himself. He could claim
that even the Bible shows that they are one and the
same: the morning star, for "Lucifer" (Isaiah 14:12)
means "morning star", and Christ says that he is the
"morning star" (Revelation 22:16). The Antichrist
could claim that because Christ is Lucifer, to
worship him, the Antichrist, as Christ is to worship
Lucifer. The Antichrist could claim that he as a man
and as Christ is the Divine Son of Lucifer God; that
he, the Antichrist, is God the Son, and Lucifer
himself is God the Father.
Could this be the lie that the true God will make
sure that all the lost believe? "God shall send them
strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that
they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2 Thessalonians
2:11-12). Will not all who are lost feel right at
home worshipping Lucifer as God the Father? For
Lucifer is "the god of this world" (2 Corinthians
4:4); and Jesus says to the lost: "Ye are of your
father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye
will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and
abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own;
for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I
tell you the truth, ye believe me not" (John 8:44-45).

What do you mean by "Keep the Sabbath instead"
I ask instead of what?
I do not know what their purpose is but I do know there is no Bible basis
for changing the Sabbath to Sunday a pagan Day of the week that denoted the
sun God Worship.
This change came about from the Antichrist apostate secular church and they
admit it.
