Deep calls to deep |
Luke 5:4
When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the
deep and let down your nets for a catch."
Psalm 42:7
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and
breakers have swept over me.
John 6:
27Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which
endures to everlasting life
John 4:
32 He said to them, "I have food to eat of which you do not know."
John 7:37
"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink."
John 4:
14but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never
thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a
fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 7:
17If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the
doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own
authority. 18He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He
who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no
unrighteousness is in Him
John 7:
33Jesus said, "I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to
the one who sent me. 34You will look for me, but you will not find me;
and where I am, you cannot come."
John 21:
22Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is
that to you? You follow Me."

I'm on my 3rd read through of the book of John. the clarity
in which the book is written has opened my eyes to much of the
message Lord Jesus wants us to understand.
when I read the Bible, I read a few verses and then stop
and ask The Holy Spirit in me to make sure I'm understanding
correctly exactly that which I am reading. I very rarely ask
another human to explain though from time to time I do engage
in group conversations concerning the meaning God wants us to
receive from His Word.
the following verses from the book of John have a grand
meaning and it's one I hope all who have read it were able
to receive.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth
on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works
than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you,
ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,
and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall
ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
God's Word is true.
