Defrauding Spouses Seek Veto Power Over God and the Bible! |
1 Corinthians 7
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and
likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the
wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time,
that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together
again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
Neither spouse has power over their own body, but God gives that power
to their spouse. Make no mistake, it is the spouse who tries to
defraud their spouse of the power which God has given them, by
refusing to render "due benevolence", who is abusing power, in
relation to sex, so they can wield their own veto power over both what
God and the Bible says. Defrauders play politics to get their own
tyrannical way over God,the Bible, and their spouses!

Both Randy and Dave claim that means husbands are to
Conquer and Dominate their wife by force and Command.
Quote us saying that.
Your insistance that the wife is to obey you ! Instead of paying attention
to *your* part as the *servant* (servants don't expect their *boss* to obey

Vice versa too. Though I have been heavy in disagreement with these men we
can't lay it all on them. You are right about the medical part in my opinion
though. I don't think it is a matter of how good women or men are in bed
that counts. I believe it is how we are treating outside the marriage bed
that counts.

Certianly - except for medical or pyschological reasons, sex can be a
barometer of the rest of the relationship, healthy men and women both want
to have sex, it's a basic need, given an otherwise healthy relationship, sex
is usually welcome, disinterest in sex usually means that something is wrong
elsewhere.
And I am not trying to imply that men have to be studs in bed, for my wife
and I, over the years, the sex was always good, but has also improved as we
paid attention to each other, but if something happened and one of us became
not "healthy enough for sexual intercourse," it would not be the end of the
world, there's always cuddling on the couch, snuggling in bed, footsie under
the table, and little touches while passing in the hall.

Also worth bearing in mind that - still within the wide spectrum of
"healthy" - individual libidos vary considerably. If you take away the
right of consent, the person with the higher libido controls the extent of
sexual activity in the relationship (and objectifies the person with the
lower one).
And I am not trying to imply that men have to be studs in bed, for my wife

And some posters here would argue that if you do all that but don't put out
at the end of it, you're "teasing" and shouldn't complain if you get raped
:(

It should provide some material for soul-searching.
Here is more - it could be just that she's worn out. Women today have to
work outside the home in order for the family to make it. And yet, most of
them are still expected to do all the house cleaning, laundry, child
rearing, cooking, etc.
I found a long time ago that, while my wife does like some flowers
(delivered to work where her co-workers can tell how wonderful her husband
is) for no reason, the biggest aphrodiziac is for me to sneak into the
kitchen after a big meal and do the dishes (she doesn't trust me to do
laundry - I can do whites fine, but I have yet to figure out her sorting
system for colors).
Sexually, although I'm not 100%, I try to hold back until she has her
pleasure at least once or twice, before mine and always remember that the
afterplay is the beginning of the foreplay for next time.
At my age and medical history, these days my wife desires sex much more
frequently than I do of late and it is me that has to work up a head of
steam to accomedate her sometimes. Fortunately, over the years, we have
learned where the "buttons" we each have are.
The thing is to quit using the Bible as a club to beat your wife up with and
to try being a loving and attentive spouse yourself.

Lights, darks, fastness of dye, type of fabric. If you consider it from the

Yeah, right ... in recent years, I have only recently come to understand
that there is more to red than pink, red and burgundy ... laundry should be
simpler, I wear t-shirts in the summer, sweatshirts in spring and fall and
sweaters in the winter, my wife wears scrubs 5 or more days a week-- it
should be simple, but in reality, I think quantum physics would be easier to
comprehend (does anyone outside of Numb3rs actually really understand that
one?). When I was single, it was simple, I had however many loads the
washer would hold.

First, I'm not the one who isn't getting any due benevolence, Owd is.
My wife agrees and we both comply with what 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 says.
Second, complying with 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 is not beating up your
spouse. It's spouses who try to beat up others with charges of abuse,
so they can wield veto power, and who misuse the God given power of
their spouse, by refusing due benevolence, who are trying to beat
people up with political pressure.
