Did Jesus go to billions of planets? |
There are over 100 billion (100,000,000,000) stars in our own galaxy,
the Milky Way. There are over 100 billion (100,000,000,000) galaxies
in the visible universe.
If only one out of a billion stars has a planet with intelligent life,
then the number of planets with intelligent life in the universe is
100 x 100 billion = 10,000 billion = 10,000, 000,000,000!
I have a very difficult question: Did God send his son, Jesus, to
10,000 billion planets in the universe?
As many of these planets are over 1 billion light years away and
assuming Jesus was able to travel with the speed of light, it
would still take 1 billion light years to visit one, and then
another 1 billion light years to visit another one that is 2 billion
light years away, etc. Am I thinking too 'logical' here or am I
missing something?
With regards,
Michael M Terra.

To my knowlege there is no definite mention of extraterrestrial life.
I have heard some speak of some scriptures that may refer to
extraterrestrial life, but nothing definite.
Since there is no mention of life elsewhere, your question cannot be
answered with anything authoritative.
Assuming at this point that there may be other planets in the universe
that are intelligently populated and that they have a need for Jesus's
visit, you have incorrectly assumed that Jesus would have a speed
restriction. His Father "God" is the ultimate creator of the universe. He
created it all, including the dimensions of height, width, depth, and yes,
time itself. So why limit Jesus to the speed of light? I personally
believe that there are no limits on Jesus other than those that are self
imposed.
You also need to realize that the speed of light may not be the speed
limit for our travel. There are scientists thinking about these
possibilities now. They are also thinking that real time travel may be
possible.
So, if you are going to do much thinking about Jesus, throw away the
limits. I have.
To sum it up and answer your question, it was not your "logic", you
missed something, and that something is "HUGE".
Have Fun!

===>The book of Genesis refers to ELOHIM, who existed before they
terraformed the watery, formless mass called Earth (ERETZ).
SInce they were not FORM Earth, they had to be EXTRATERRESTRIAL
by definition of that word! -- L.
