INTERESTING SPECULATION AS TO WHEN THE LAST DAY OF THE 6,000 YEARS MAY BE??
According to Bible Chronology we know that the creation of Adam by God
occurred almost 6,000 years ago, and history absolutely confirms that Jesus
was alive on earth 2,000 years ago. And so the phrase LAST DAYS could refer
to a 2,000-year time period {Or LAST 2 DAYS} since a DAY with the Lord is as
1,000 years according to 2 Peter 3:8.
Jesus became our High Priest and began His ministry on His 30th Birthday
(See Luke 3:23 and OT law-I Chron 23:3) which was exactly 40 days (See Luke
4:2 and Matt 4:2) after His Anointing or Baptism on October 25th, AD 26
(Which was exactly 1260 days before the resurrection of Jesus on April 7th,
AD 30). And so the 30th birthday of Jesus was 40 days after October 25th, AD
26 or on December 4th, AD 26. And, therefore, the 12th birthday of Jesus
would have occurred exactly 18 years earlier than the 30th birthday of Jesus
or on December 4th, AD 8. And so the first Passover Jesus attended after His
12th birthday would have occurred in April of AD 9 !
When and where were the first inspired Words of Jesus in the New Testament??
Luke 2:49: Jesus said (To His parents) when He was 12 years old (As per Luke
2:42) "Why are you searching for Me? Didn't you know I HAD to be in My
Father's House!"
Hebrews 1:1,2: "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the
prophets at many times and in various was, but in these LAST DAYS (Or last
2,000 Years?) He has spoken to us by His Son!"
What transpired in the days immediately before the FIRST New Testament quote
by God's Son in Luke 2:49?? Luke 2:41-43,46,47: "Every year His (Jesus')
parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover (Which occurs every
April). When Jesus was 12 years old (Or Dec 4th AD 8 to Dec 4th, AD 9) they
went up to the Feast (In April of AD 9). After the Feast was over, while His
parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem but
they were unaware of it. After 3 days they found Jesus in the Temple courts,
sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
EVERYONE who heard Jesus was amazed at His understanding and HIS (Divine
Inspired) ANSWERS!!" And so God FIRST spoke to us by His Son in April of AD
9 by the FIRST recorded Words of Jesus in Luke 2:49, and by the FIRST Divine
Answers Jesus spoke for 3 days in God's Temple that everyone was amazed at
as per Luke 2:47.
Hebrews 1:2: "In these LAST DAYS (Or Last 2,000 years) God has spoken to us
by His Son." And so if God first spoke to us by his Son in April of AD 9 the
Last Day of the LAST DAYS (Or last 2,000 years) would end exactly 2,000
years later or in April of AD 2009! For example: If Jesus first started
giving Divine Inspired ANSWERS on April 7th, AD 9 then the Last 2 Days or
Last 2,000 years would end on April 7th, 2009 (Which would be the Last Day
or Resurrection Day) and the 1260-day Great Tribulation would then begin
1260 days earlier or on October 25th, 2005.
According to God's Word there were FOUR events which occurred almost 2,000
years ago during the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000 years:
Acts 2:15-17a: Peter said, "These men are not drunk as you suppose. It's
only nine in the morning. No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
God says 'In the LAST DAYS (Or Last 2,000 years) I will pour out My Spirit
on all people!" The coming of the Holy Spirit as per Acts 2:1-4 occurred on
the Day of Pentecost which was on May 26th, AD 30, LESS then 2,000 years
ago.
2 Tim 3:1,2,5: "There will be terrible times in the LAST DAYS. People will
be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud.. HAVE NOTHING TO
DO WITH THEM." This statement of course confirms that they were in the LAST
DAYS AT THAT TIME which was right before the death of Paul (As per 2 Tim
4:6b). Historical records confirm that the execution of Paul came about by
the command of the 6th Caesar (Nero Caesar) in AD 66; which of course was
LESS than 2,000 years ago.
2 Peter 3:3,4a: "First of all you must understand that in the LAST DAYS (Or
Last 2,000 years) scoffers will come (See also Jude 18) scoffing and
following their own evil desires (See also 2 Tim 3:1-5 above). They will
say, 'Where is the COMING Jesus promised?'" During His last sermon (John
14:1-17:26) on the night of April 4th, AD 30 Jesus promised that He was
going to prepare a place for His followers and that he would COME AGAIN to
take His followers to be with Him forever (See John 14:2,3). Jesus rose from
the dead on April 7th, AD 30 and rose to heaven in a cloud 40 days later on
May 17th, AD 30 as per Acts 1:9-11. And EVER SINCE May 17th, AD 30 there
have been evil scoffers who claim that Jesus would not COME AGAIN which
would also be LESS that 2,000 years ago. And then in 2 Peter 3:8 God's Word
explains why the Lord Jesus is not slow in keeping the promise of His 2nd
Coming as per John 14:2,3 even though the promise was made almost 2,000
years ago. 2 Peter 3:3,4,9a,8: "In the LAST DAYS (or Last 2 Days) scoffers.
will say 'Where is the Coming Jesus promised'. The Lord is not slow in
keeping His promise as some understand slowness. But do not forget this one
thing dear friends: With the Lord a DAY is like 1,000 years and a 1,000
years are like a DAY!" And so: With the Lord 2 DAYS or the LAST 2 DAYS are
just like 2,000 years, and 2,000 years are just like 2 DAYS or the LAST 2
DAYS. And the main reason that the Lord is not slow in keeping His Promise
of His 2nd Coming may be that the "LAST 2 DAYS" are a 2,000 year time period
that will be completed exactly 2,000 years after God first "Spoke to us by
His Son in the LAST DAYS" as per Heb 1:2 and Luke 2:47,49.
(4) Hebrews 1:1,2: "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the

2,000 years) God has spoken to us by His Son." Luke 2:46,47,49: "After 3
days they found Jesus in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers,

amazed at His understanding and His (Divine Inspired) ANSWERS. Jesus asked
(His parents) "Why were you searching for Me. Didn't you know I HAD to be in
My Father's House!" The First Day that God's Son started giving us Divine
Inspired ANSWERS in April of AD 9 may also be the FIRST DAY of the LAST DAYS
or Last 2,000 years. And if the FIRST DAY of the LAST DAYS or last 2,000
years began in April of AD 9 then the LAST DAY of the LAST DAYS or LAST
2,000 YEARS may take place in April of 2009 !!!
And so the FIRST and EARLIEST of the above 4 events that must have taken
place during the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000 years began in April of AD 9. It is
then logical to assume that the FIRST DAY of the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000
years occurred on the FIRST DAY that God spoke to us by His Son and that the
LAST DAY of the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000 years may occur exactly 2,000 years
after April of AD 9!!
Hosea 6:2-3: "After 2 DAYS (Or 2,000 Years??) the Lord will revive us; on
the 3RD DAY He will restore us; that we may live in His presence. as surely
as the sun rises He will appear!!"
Luke 24:46: Jesus said, "This is what is written: "The Christ will suffer
and rise from the dead on the 3RD DAY." Now Hosea 6:2 is the ONLY passage in
the OT that mentions a resurrection on the 3RD DAY AFTER 2 DAYS. The amazing
fact is that this passage also promises that God's saints will ALSO be
raised on the 3rd DAY AFTER 2 DAYS which could also be 2,000 Years!! And so:
Hosea 6:2,3: "After 2 DAYS (April 5-7 AD 30 or 2,000 Years-April 7, AD 9 to
April 7, AD 2009??) the Lord will revive us (Jesus & His saints); on the 3RD
DAY(Or April 7, AD 30 & April 7, 2009??) He will restore us (Jesus & His
saints) that we may live in His presence.. As surely as the sun rises (Or
sun rise April 7th, AD 30 & sun rise April 7th AD 2009) He (Jesus) will
appear!!"
In Revelation 22:13 Jesus says: "I am the First and the Last, the Beginning
and the End!" The BEGINNING of the LAST Days or LAST 2,000 Years began with
the FIRST inspired ANSWERS of Jesus and the END of the LAST Days will be the
2nd Coming of Jesus on the LAST Day of the LAST Days!!
Now by comparing Heb 1:2a with I Pet 1:20b and by comparing 2 Pet 3:3 with
Jude 18 we learn that the phrase LAST DAYS and LAST TIMES are identical and
refer to the exact same period of time. And then in Eph 1:10b,10a we read:
"God will bring all things in heaven and on earth together under One Head,
even Christ-which will be put into effect when the TIMES (Or Last 2 TIMES or
Last 2,000 years) have reached their FULFILLMENT!!"
WHAT IS BIBLE CHRONOLOGY? Bible Chronology estimates the time period from
the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on April 7th, AD 30 backwards to the
creation of Adam by God. This time period is approximately 4,030 years. The
reason that this time period is not exact is that some time periods are
exact such as the 70 years of the Babylonian Captivity and the 69 7's or 483
years of Daniel 9:24-27. While other time periods are approximate such as
the number of years reigned by 19 Judean kings or the number of years old 21
patriarchs from Adam to Abraham had children in the Patriarchal Line. For
example: In Genesis 5:21 it states that Enoch lived 65 years when he became
the father of Methuselah. Actually this time period could have been between
64 years plus 183 days and 65 years plus 182 days. Or when it states that
Manasseh reigned over Judah for 55 years this could have been between 54
years and 183 days and 55 years plus 182 days. For example: In Exodus 16:35
God's Word states that the Israelites ate manna for 40 years and yet by
comparing Exodus 16:1,4,31 and Joshua 5:10-12 we know that Israel actually
ate manna for 45 days LESS than 40 years. So we can safely assume when the
Bible says that a Judean king reigned for 40 years that this time period
could have been exactly 40 years and could also be almost ½ a year more or
less than 40 years !
And so the time period from the birth of Adam to the Resurrection of Jesus
would be 4030 years if the number of years of the 40 people involved (19
Kings & 21 Patriarchs) averages an exact number of years. And if the average
number of years (Of the 40 people involved) is about a ½ a year higher or
lower than the year stated; then the time period could possibly be from
4,010 years and 4,050 years. Although it is more probable that this time
period was between 4,020 years and 4,040 years. And so if the 6,000-year
theory is valid the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000 years of the 6,000 years must
have began before AD 20 and most likely before AD 10.
Now if April AD 9 is exactly 4,000 years before the birth of Adam and 2,000
years before the Last Day then the Chronology would be 4,021 years from the
birth of Adam to the Resurrection of Jesus since there is a 21 (7+7+7) year
time period from April AD 9 and April AD 30.
POSSIBLE CHRONOLOGY OF 6-DAY OR 6,000 YEAR CREATION:
April 7, 3992 BC-God's 1st 7th-Day Rest with his Son after 6-Day Creation
and then 4,000 years or 4 Days later..
April 7, AD 9---God 1st speaks to us by His Son as per Hebrews 1:2 & Luke
2:47,49
April 7, AD 2009---God's 2nd 7th Day Rest with the people of God as per
Hebrews 4:9 in the New Heavens and New Earth after 6 Days or 6,000 years of
Creation, and after 2 Days or 2,000 years (The LAST DAYS) after God first
spoke to us by His Son.
NOTE: When going from BC to AD you must deduct 1 year since there was no
year Zero-3992 + 9 = 4001 minus 1 = 4,000 years.
Why did God's Son HAVE to be in His Father's House giving Divine Inspired
ANSWERS in April of AD 9?? Because God's Word states in Hebrews 1:2: "In
these LAST DAYS (or Last 2,000 years?) God has spoken to us by his Son."
(Which occurred in April of AD 9)
And God the Father will continue to speak to us by His Son until the last
second of the LAST DAYS or Last 2,000 years which began in April of AD 9 and
may therefore end in April of AD 2009. John 14:23, 24b; 15:14; Matt
28:20,21: Jesus says, "If you love Me obey My Words. Then My Father and I
will make our home with you.These Words you hear are not My own; they belong
to the father who sent Me.. You are My friends if you do what I command..
Make disciples of all nations.. Teaching them to obey EVERYTHING I have
commanded."
I Thess 5:2-4: "The Day of the Lord (Mentioned in I Thess 4:16,17 & in 2
Thess 2:1-3) will come like a thief in the night (To unbelievers). While
people are saying 'Peace and safety' (See Rev 11:10 & Matt 24:50,51)
destruction will come on them suddenly." (See 2 Thess 1:7-10 & 2 Pet
3:10,13).. But you, brothers are not in darkness so that THIS DAY (Of the
Lord) should surprise you like a thief." (See Rev 3:3; Rev 16:15 & 2 Thess
2:1-3) And so here God's Word confirms that Jesus will only come like a
thief to unbelievers which is also confirmed in Rev 3:1,3: To the angel of
the CHURCH of Sardis write..(Jesus said) "But if you do not wake up, I will
come like a thief, and YOU will not know at WHAT TIME I will come to you."
And so Jesus confirms that one of the penalties for unbelief is not knowing
WHEN Jesus will come again!!
Everyone agrees that Jesus did not know the Time of His 2nd Coming while He
was here on earth as per Matt 24:36. However, it is also clear that sometime
before AD 96 when Revelation was written God the Father told His Son the
Time of His 2nd Coming before Jesus spoke the Words in Revelation 3:3.
Now Post-Tribbers; who believe that the Great Tribulation will last exactly
1260 days and that the 2nd Coming of Jesus will take place on the Last day
of the 1260-day Great Tribulation; also believe that every Christian alive
during this 1260-day Great Tribulation will also know the exact Day of the
2nd Coming of Jesus on the Last Day.
QUESTION: Does God want His believers to know when the 2nd Coming of Jesus
will occur BEFORE the beginning of the 1260-Day Great Tribulation?? This we
can not know for sure. However, we are sure that if God has given us any
clues concerning the approximate Time of the 2nd Coming of Jesus that these
clues would only be found in God's Word and in God's Word alone.
And so the SPECULATION that the LAST DAYS (Which may be exactly 2,000 years)
started in April of AD 9 and will therefore end in April of 2009 is very
interesting since it does have a reasonable and plausible Bible basis.
***** WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 1,000 YEAR FIRST RESURRECTION MENTIONED IN
REV 20:4-6?? "THEY (WHO ARE "THEY"??) CAME TO LIFE AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST
1,000 YEARS." *****
I Cor 15:22-24: "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made
alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then when He
comes, those who belong to Him. *THEN* (Not 1007 years later!) the END (Of
the present heavens & earth--See 2 Peter 3:10-13) will come, when He hands
over the KINGDOM TO GOD THE FATHER after He has destroyed all dominion and
power." (On the Day of the Lord, not 1007 years later) Matthew 13:40 -43
also confirms that the Kingdom of the Father (Not a 1000 year Kingdom of
Jesus) will begin on the Day of the Lord or Harvest Day. Matt 13:40-43:
Jesus says, "As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will
be at the END of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels (See Matt
24:29,30), and they will weed out of His Kingdom (Or the Kingdom of Jesus)
everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into
the fiery furnace (Then, Not 1000 or 1007 years later! See 2 Thess
1:7-10!!!), where they will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ***THEN***
(Not 1000 or 1007 years later) the righteous will shine IN THE KINGDOM OF
THEIR FATHER!!!!" (See Dan 12:2,3!) These two inspired passages absolutely
contradict the false theory that there will be a 1,000 year Kingdom of Jesus
AFTER His Second Coming.
2 Thess 1:1,6-10: "To the CHURCH of the Thessalonians....God is just: He
will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who
are troubled, an to us as well. This will happen **WHEN** the Lord Jesus is
revealed from heaven in blazing fire (Could this be the secret Silent
rapture or Matt 24:30,31??) with His powerful angels. He will punish those
who do not know God and do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will
be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of
the Lord and from the majesty of His Power ***ON THE DAY JESUS COMES*** (Not
1000 or 1007 years later!!) to be glorified in His holy people!!!"
It is interesting to note that 4 times in the Book of Revelation (During the
Tribulation) we see *MARTYRS* (And no other saints but martyrs & the 24
Elders) already in Heaven *BEFORE* the Last Day. At the beginning of the
Great Tribulation we hear this conversation in Heaven: Rev 6:9-11: "When He
(Jesus) opened the 5th seal, I saw under the alter the *SOULS* (No New
Heavenly Bodies yet-See Rev 20:4) of those who had been slain (MARTYRS)
because of the Word of God and the testimony they had maintained (OT & NT
Martyrs--No Tribulation Martyrs yet as per Rev 20:4). They called out in a
loud voice "How long, Sovereign Lord, Holy and True, until you judge the
inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" Then each one of them was
given a *WHITE ROBE* (See Rev 7:9b, 13,14) and they were told to wait a
little longer, until their brothers (Great Tribulation martyrs) who were to
be killed as they had been was completed (During the Great Tribulation).
We also see a great multitude of *MARTYRS* with *WHITE ROBES* in Heaven,
with Jesus, that have come out of the Great Tribulation just *BEFORE* the 7
Trumpet plagues of Rev 8 & 9. (See Rev 7:9-14) Then in Rev 15:2 we see
Tribulation Martyrs in Heaven just *BEFORE* the 7 Bowl Plagues. And then in
Rev 14:1-6 we see 144,000 Jewish *MARTYRS* in Heaven with Jesus just
*BEFORE* Rome (Nicknamed Babylon) is destroyed in Rev 14:8; which will
probably occur a few weeks *BEFORE* the Last Day. Believe it or not, the
*MARTYRS* and the 24 Elders are the ONLY HUMANS mentioned to be in Heaven
before the Last Day in all of Revelation!!
The only HUMAN voices heard in Heaven during the Great Tribulation are those
of the 24 Elders and the *MARTYRS*. Isn't it strange that we don't even hear
a peep (During the Tribulation) from all the living and dead church saints
of the past 2000 years; who were supposed to have been raptured (According
to the pre-tribbers) before the Tribulation even began!! Did they all
mysteriously get laryngitis?? Or Gags?? Or were they NOT YET AWAKENED from
their Heavenly sleep.
Did you know that John did not see the Heavenly New Jerusalem until
**AFTER** he saw the New Heavens and the New Earth with no more sea!! Rev
21:1,2: "THEN I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth, for the First Heaven and
the first earth had PASSED AWAY, and there was no longer any sea. (**THEN**)
I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from
God!!"
This is confirmed in 2 Peter 3:10-13:(Using 2 NIV footnotes) "But the Day of
the Lord will come like a thief (To unbelievers) The heavens will disappear
with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and
everything in it will be burned up....You ought to live holy and Godly lives
as you wait eagerly for the Day of God to come. THAT DAY will bring about
the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the
heat. But in keeping with His promise **WE** are looking forward to a New
Heaven and a New Earth, the Home of Righteousness." And so God's Word
confirms that on the SAME DAY that Jesus comes as a thief (To unbelievers)
the present heavens and earth will be COMPLETELY destroyed by fire, and also
on this SAME DAY we will receive a New Heaven and new Earth, the Home of
Righteousness!!
Who are the 24 Elders who will sit on 24 Thrones which surround God's Throne
in Heaven (See Rev 4:4,10; 5:8) and who have the authority to *JUDGE*?? (See
Rev 20:4a) In Matt 19:27,28 Peter asked Jesus: "What will there be for us? "
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the
Son of Man sits on His glorious Throne, you who have followed me will also
sit on *TWELVE THRONES*, *JUDGING* the 12 tribes of Israel." (Paul obviously
replacing Judas who did not FOLLOW Jesus) The other 12 Thrones will most
likely go to OT saints such as Abraham, Joseph, Samuel, Jeremiah and Isaiah
etc.
And now we can more fully understand Rev 20:4-5!! REVELATION 20:4,5
PARAPHRASED WITH INTERPRETATIONS AND COMPARATIVE SCRIPTURES ADDED: "I saw
(24) thrones (Surrounding God's Throne in Heaven--See Rev 4:4!), and upon
the thrones were seated (The 24 Elders-See Rev 4:4 & Rev 11:16) who had been
given authority to judge (See Matt 19:28!--The 12 Apostles "Who followed
Jesus" including Paul [Titus 1:1] and prably 12 OT Elders). "And I saw the
*SOULS* (No new heavenly bodies yet! See Rev 6:9; Phil 3:20,21 & I Cor
49,51,52) of the Martyrs (By God's Altar in Heaven-Rev 6:9) who had been
executed or beheaded for the sake of God's Word (OT MARTYRS-Matt23:37a) and
their testimony for Jesus (NT MARTYRS-Acts 7:59; Rom 8:35,36), and the
*TRIBULATION MARTYRS* (Rev 7:14,15; 15:2) who had not worshipped the Beast
or his statue or received his mark on their bodies. This is the FIRST
Resurrection. The 24 Elders and the SOULS of the Martyrs (SOME OF THE DEAD
SAINTS) *CAME TO LIFE* to reign with Christ in Heaven (See Eph 1:21,22; Rev
6:9-11; 7:14,15) during the 1000 year period before the second resurrection.
"The *REST OF THE DEAD* (Those SAINTS who were not Martyrs or one of the 24
Elders) will not come to life *UNTIL* the 1000 years are completed." (Or
UNTIL the 2nd Resurrection at the 2nd Coming of Jesus)
All honest pre-trib & post-trib theologians both agree that there are no
*LIVING SAINTS* mentioned in Rev 20:4-6 and ONLY Revelation 20 mentions the
1,000 year 1st Resurrection. And so the 1,000 year First Resurrection
definitely does NOT include any of the LIVING SAINTS (Those ALIVE at the 2nd
Coming of Jesus) since they will not be resurrected until the SECOND
Resurrection which will occur on the Last Day of the continuous 1,000 year
FIRST Resurrection for Martyrs only.
FOR EXAMPLE: If the FIRST continuous 1,000 year Resurrection of Martyrs is
from 7th, AD 1009 to April 7th, AD 2009; then the SECOND Resurrection of all
those who are not martyrs will be on the Last Day of the 1,000 Year Martyr's
Resurrection or on April 7th, AD 2009. And then on April 7th, AD 1009 all of
the OT & NT MARTYRS up to that time will come to life to reign with Jesus in
Heaven during the 1,000 year FIRST Resurrection, and all of the martyrs from
April 7th, AD 1009 to the Last Day including the Tribulation Martyrs will
IMMEDIATELY come to life to reign with Jesus in Heaven until the Last Day.
And on the Last Day all of the saints who are not martyrs will be raised to
life when Jesus comes with Power and Great glory, and then all of God's
saints including the martyrs will receive their new Heavenly bodies.
Jesus promised in John 6:40 that EVERYONE who believed in Him would be
resurrected ON THE LAST DAY and yet in Rev 20:4,5 the Word of God promises
that those saints who were or will be martyred like Jesus would be
resurrected in the *FIRST* Resurrection during the 1,000 year period before
the *SECOND* Resurrection of those saints who believed in Jesus but were not
martyrs.
Since God's Word cannot contradict itself we must conclude that the
resurrection of those who believe in Jesus (Martyrs & non-martyrs) will last
1,000 years, and therefore the LAST DAY RESURRECTION mentioned in John 6:40
must last exactly 1,000 years. This truth is somewhat confirmed in 2 Peter
3:8: "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord A DAY is
like 1,000 YEARS and 1,000 YEARS are like A DAY."
According to the pre-trib, pre-mill theory those saints who are *ALIVE* will
be raptured to Heaven without ever having died as a martyr or one of the 24
Elders. The pre-trib, pre-mill theory also wrongly proclaims that those
raptured saints who have never died will also reign with Jesus during this
1000 year 1st Resurrection. Whereas God's Infallible Word above states that
ONLY those Martyrs or 24 Elders who have died will *COME TO LIFE* and reign
with Jesus during this 1000 year period.
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" Jesus promised
the thief on the Cross "THIS DAY you shall be with Me in Paradise." However,
there are many passages from God's Word which confirm that unless we are a
martyr we will be asleep with the Lord until He awakes us at His Second
Coming: 1 Cor 15:6,20,51,52: Jesus appeared to more than 500 hundred
brothers, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep..
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those
who have fallen asleep.".. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all
sleep (Not the martyrs during the 1,000 year First Resurrection) but we will
all be changed (The souls of all saints including the martyrs will receive
their New Heavenly Bodies)--in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
(7th &) Last Trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised
imperishable and we will (ALL) be changed."
John 11:11,24: Jesus said, Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am
going there to wake him... Martha said, I know he (Lazarus) will rise again
in the resurrection on the Last Day." Dan 12:2: "Multitudes who sleep in the
dust of the earth will AWAKE: some to everlasting life, others to shame and
everlasting contempt." John 5:28: Jesus said, "do not be amazed at this, for
a time is coming when all (Except the Martyrs) who are in their graves will
hear His voice and come out-those who have done good will rise to live, and
those who have done evil will rise to be condemned." Since 1000 years are
just like a Day WITH THE LORD (2 Pet 3:8) it will seem like just a few days
when Jesus awakes His (non-martyred) saints at His Second Coming on the last
day; even though many may have fallen asleep thousands of years earlier. 1
Thess 4:14: "We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe
that God will bring with Jesus those have fallen asleep in Him"
These passages from God's Word also contradict the false theories that the
lost will be resurrected 1,000 to 1,007 years *AFTER* the resurrection of
the saints. This is also absolutely confirmed in 2 Thess 1:1,6-10: "*TO THE
CHURCH* of the Thessalonians.God is just: He will pay back trouble to those
who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well.
This will happen WHEN the Lord Jesus is revealed from Heaven in blazing fire
with His powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do
not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with
everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from
the majesty of His power *ON THE DAY HE COMES* to be glorified in His holy
people!!"
Actually, many symbolic prophecies in the OT about Jerusalem are really
symbolic prophecies about the Heavenly New Jerusalem. Hebrews 11:9,10,16:
"By faith Abraham made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a
foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs
with him of the same promise. For Abraham was looking forward to the City
with foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God....They were longing
for a better Country--a *HEAVENLY ONE*. Therefore God is not ashamed to be
called their God, for He has prepared a (*HEAVENLY*-See above) City for
them. Hebrews 13:12-14: "Jesus suffered OUTSIDE the city gate to make the
people holy through His blood. Let us then go to Him OUTSIDE the camp
bearing the disgrace He bore. For HERE (On earth) we do not have an enduring
City, but we are looking for the (*HEAVENLY*) City to come. And so the hope
of Israeli Saints and the Gentile Saints is not the earthly Jerusalem but
the HEAVENLY NEW JERUSALEM WITH GOD!!
Now, let us suppose that the 1,000 Year FIRST RESURRECTION FOR MARTYRS ONLY
will be from April 7th, 1009 to April 7th, 2009 (The Last Day). Now if the
Last Day occurs on April 7th, 2009 then the Coming of 666 will occur exactly
1260 days earlier or on October 25th, AD 2005 when Satan will be released to
deceive all the nations through the Beast or 666 (See Rev 12:7-Rev 13:8) for
1260 days or October 25th, 2005 to April 7th, 2009.
ARE THE TWO 1,000 YEAR PERIODS MENTIONED IN REV 20:3-7 TAKING PLACE NOW??
Rev 20:3b: Satan will be STOPPED FROM DECEIVING THE NATIONS FOR 1,000 YEARS
{Oct 25th, 1005-Oct 25th, 2005??}and then he will be released for a SHORT
TIME." {Or 1260 days from Oct 25th 2005 to April 7th 2009-The Last Day?}
Rev 20:7,8a: "When the 1,000 years are over {On Oct 25th 2005?}Satan will be
released and will go out to DECEIVE THE NATIONS in the 4 corners of the
earth." (For a SHORT TIME or 1260 days-See Rev 20:3b above!)
Shortly before the coming of 666 from the Abyss (See Rev 11:7; 17:8) by way
of the sea (See Rev 13:1) Satan will be kicked out of Heaven (See Rev
12:7-9) and then we read in Rev 12:12b,13: "Woe to the earth because the
Devil has gone down to you! Satan is filled with fury because he knows his
TIME IS SHORT!!" (See Rev 20:3b above !!) And so this confirms that the
SHORT TIME mentioned in Rev 20:3b and Rev 12:13 is exactly 1260 days!!
DOES God's word state that Satan will "DECEIVE THE NATIONS IN THE 4 CORNERS
OF THE EARTH" (See Rev 20:8b Above) DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION??
Rev 13:2b,5b,7,4,8: "The Dragon (Or Satan-Rev 12:9) will give the beast
(666) his power and his throne and great AUTHORITY. and to exercise his
AUTHORITY for 42 months (Or 1260 days). 666 will be given AUTHORITY (By
Satan-Rev 13:2b) over EVERY NATION, tribe people and language. Men will
worship Satan because he had given his AUTHORITY to 666, and they will also
worship 666 and ask, 'Who is like 666? Who can make war against him?" (See
Rev 6:8). All inhabitants of the earth will worship 666-all whose names have
not been written in the Lamb's Book of Life."
2 Thess 2:9,10a: "The coming of the Lawless One (666) will be in accordance
with the WORK OF SATAN displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs
and wonders and in every sort of evil that will DECEIVE those who are
perishing."
Matt 24:9: Referring to the Great tribulation Jesus said: "Then you will be
handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be HATED BY ALL
NATIONS because of Me."
Rev 20:3b: "Satan will be stopped from DECEIVING THE NATIONS for 1,000 years
(Oct 25, 1005-Oct 25, 2005?) and then he will be released for a SHORT TIME."
(Or 1260 days from Oct 25, 2005 to April 7, 2009) Rev 12b,13: "Woe to the
earth because the Devil has gone down to you! Satan is filled with fury
because he knows his TIME IS SHORT."
If Satan will deceive all the nations of the world beginning on Oct 25th,
2005 after 1,000 years then the 1,000 years that Satan was stopped from
deceiving the nations began on Oct 25th, 1005. The Big Question is: HOW WAS
SATAN STOPPED FROM DECEIVING THE PAGAN NATIONS AROUND Oct 25th AD 1005??
As we review the history of the Christian Church we find very little growth
in the number of new nations hearing the Gospel between the 2nd Century and
AD 1005. In the 1st Century the Apostles and many others had bought the
Gospel to Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Greece, Italy and Spain. By the
2nd Century the Gospel had spread to areas we now call: France, Germany,
Switzerland and southern England and the northern parts of Egypt, Libya,
Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Arabia. And then for almost 800 years the
Gospel was mainly restricted to these nations within the former Roman
Empire, or only about 6% of the world. For almost 800 years Satan was
successful in stopping the spread of the Gospel to almost all of Asia,
Eastern Europe, Scandanavia, Russia, the Slavic countries and the rest of
the world.
And yet the Word of God has promised that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was to
be preached to ALL NATIONS and TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH before the *END will
come. Consider the following statements from God's Word:
** Luke 24:46,47: Jesus said, "This is what is written: The Christ will
suffer and rise from the dead on the 3rd day, and repentence and forgiveness
of sins will be preached in His name to ALL NATIONS!" Rev 5:9: "Jesus was
slain and with His blood He purchased men for God from EVERY NATION, tribe
people and language." Matt 28:19a: Jesus commanded, "Go and make disciples
of ALL NATIONS." Acts 1:8: Jesus said, "You will be My witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ENDS OF THE EARTH." Matt
24:14: Jesus said, "This Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole
world as a testimony to ALL NATIONS and THEN the END will come."
Suddenly around AD 1005 after 800 years of almost Zero growth of new nations
outside of the Roman Empire the Gospel started to spread rapidly through
many areas completely dominated by Satanic paganism. Many Christians believe
that this happened because Satan was stopped from completely deceiving these
pagan nations so that the gospel could spread to ALL NATIONS and TO THE ENDS
OF THE EARTH.
The following paragraphs are quotes concerning Church History from:
** "History of the Christian Church", Williston Walker, Pages 214,215.
** "Encyclopedia of World Biography" McGraw Hill, on King Vladimir I.
** "Rise of Russia" by Robert Wallace and editors of Time-Life Books, pages
31-34,97.
"The 10th and 11th Centuries were an epoch of a large extension of
Christianity. Heathenism was in power in DENMARK when King Sweyn was brought
into the church in 995, and the work was completed in Denmark by King Canute
the Great (1015-1035) who also ruled ENGLAND and for a time, NORWAY. { NOTE:
It is true that nations started to legalize Christianity 10 to 15 years
before AD 1005. However, because of antiquated printing problems and
translation procedures it could have been least 10 years before the Word of
God was translated into these new languages and true Christian missionaries
started to evangelize these nations with God's Word.} Christianity in NORWAY
was not permanently established till the time of Olaf I (995-1000) This work
was then extended to the ORKNEYS, SHETLAND, HEBRIDES, FAROE, ICELAND,
GREENLAND, POMERANIA, LAPLAND and FINLAND. Canute and Magnus I completed the
Christianizing of these areas. In SWEDEN Christianity was effectively
established by King Olaf Skottkonung (994-1024) who was baptized in 1008. In
1000 King Boleslaus I (992-1025) organized the church in POLAND.
Christianity was effectively established in HUNGARY by King Stephen I
(997-1038), the organizer of the Hungarian monarchy, who lives in history as
Saint Stephen. (*HUNGARY* then included most of what is now ROMANIA and
CZECHOSLAVAKIA).
"The movements just considered were the work of the Latin Church. The great
extension of the Greek Church also lies in this period and was accomplished
by the conversion of the vast Kingdom of RUSSIA. The Christian work in
RUSSIA was definitely established by King Vladimir I (980-1015). From 980 to
989 Vladimir was overcome by his lust for women, and had 7 wives and 800
concubines in 3 different cities. During these 9 years Vladimir was a cruel
man and a pagan persecutor of Christians. In 989 Vladimir was approached by
representatives of various faiths who attempted to convert him including the
Jewish, Islamic, Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox religions. He sent out
messengers to observe these different religions in action. They beheld no
glory in the Roman Catholic Church as they observed it in Germany. Vladimir
rejected the idea of the temporal power of the Pope and so chose the Eastern
Orthodox Church.
And so from May26th, AD 30 (The Day of Pentecost) until about AD 205 the
gospel of Jesus Christ spread throughout the entire Roman Empire, or about
6% of the nations of the World. And then for 800 years Satan was successful
in DECEIVING THE NATIONS outside of the Roman Empire from accepting
Christianity. And then miraculously around AD 1005 Satan was stopped from
DECEIVING THE NATIONS (See Rev 20:3b). Soon after AD 1005 an area larger
than the entire Roman Empire miraculously turned to Christianity. These
pagan nations had been completely under the control of Satan since the
beginning of nations at the Tower of Babel in Babylon. (See Genesis 11:8,9)
500 years later the gospel started to spread throughout heathen North, South
and Central America. In the last 200 years numerous missionary societies and
evangelists have brought the Word of God to remote lands, jungles and
islands in the 4 corners of the earth. The fact that Satan is not now bound
does not mean that he is not active in the world today but during this
period he cannot DECEIVE THE NATIONS-that is, cannot prevent the spread of
the gospel. The binding of Satan during this 1,000-year period, in other
words, makes missions and evangelism possible to all of the nations on earth
during the past 1,000 years.
The Word of God states that sometime after the Book of Revelation was
written (AD 96); Satan would suddenly be "stopped from deceiving the pagan
nations for exactly 1,000 years." It is definitely true that 94% of the
nations in the world have been evangelized and heard the Gospel for the
first time since AD 1005.
*AND SO THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT 1,000 YEAR PERIODS MENTIONED IN REV 20:3-8:
** Rev 20:3b & 7,8a: The 1,000 year period that Satan was stopped from
deceiving the pagan so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ could be preached to
every nation in the world and to the ends of the earth. {October 25, AD 1005
to October 25, 2005??}
** Rev 20:4-6: The continuous 1,000 year FIRST RESURRECTION of the 24 Elders
and Martyrs who will be awakened to reign with Jesus in heaven during the
1,000 year period (April 7, 1009 to April 7, 2009??) immediately before the
SECOND RESURRECTION of the unmartyred saints of ALL ages on the Last Day
(April 7, AD 2009??) of the Great 1260-day Tribulation at the Second Coming
of Jesus.
THERE WILL BE 2 COMINGS OF JESUS ON THE SAME LAST DAY:
The First Coming will be FOR HIS SAINTS (See Matt 24:30,31; I Thess 4:16,
17; Rev 14:14-16) and immediately after the Marriage Feast of the Lamb (Rev
19:7,8) He will come WITH HIS SAINTS (See Rev 19:11,14; 17:14; Jude 14,15).
Jesus will mount a great White Horse (Rev 19:11) and His saints will follow
Him on White Horses (Rev 19:14) dressed in fine white linen (As per Rev
19:8,14). They will conquer 666, His False prophet and the armies of the 10
nations that ruled the world with 666 (Rev 17:12-14); 19:15,20,21; 2:26,27).
Shortly after the rest of the armies will be destroyed by fire from Heaven,
and then Satan will join 666 and his False Prophet in hell (Rev 20:9b,10;
Malachi 4:1-3). In John 11:9 Jesus said, "Are there not 12 hours in a Day."
The resurrection of the lost and their entrance into the fiery lake of hell
will occur shortly after on the same LAST DAY (See John 11:9a; Compare John
6:40 with John 12:48; John 5:28,29; Daniel 12:2; 2 Thess 1:6-10; Matt
13:40-43; 25:31-34,41,46). ALL THE LOST who have ever lived will be AWAKENED
(John 5:28,29; Matt 26:64; Daniel 12:2) along with the unmartyred saints to
witness the 2nd Coming of Jesus, (Matt 26:64-66; Rev 1:7; Isa 40:5) but will
not be resurrected until AFTER the resurrection of the saints, the Marriage
Feast of the Lamb and the defeat of 666 and Satan and their lost armies. See
Matt 24;31,39b-41; 25:31-34,41,46; Rev 6:12-17; 20:9-15)
After the resurrection and judgement of the Lost (John 12:48; 5:28,29; Dan
12:2,3; Rev 20:11-15; 2 Thess 1:6-10), and the distribution of many eternal
Rewards for God's saints (I Cor 3:10-15; 2 Cor 5:10; Rom 14:10-12; Gal 6:9;
Rev 3;11; 22:12); God's Called, Elect and Faithful (Rev 17:14) will reign
with Jesus forever in the heavenly NEW JERUSALEM with its NEW HEAVEN and NEW
EARTH! (See Hebrews 12:26-29; 2 Peter 3:10-13; Rev 21:1-5 22-27)
The *FIRST* End-Time event Christians should be looking for is the Coming of
Moses and Elijah from Heaven to warn God's saints of the coming power of
Satan, the False Prophet, the Anti-Christ and the 1260-day Great
Tribulation. And since we do not have to wait at least 7 years for the ruins
of Babylon, or a new Jewish Temple to be rebuilt; this could happen at *ANY
TIME*!! I Pet 1:13: "Therefore, prepare your minds for ACTION, and set your
hope *FULLY* on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed!"
This will certainly come as a great shock to the pre-tribbers who wrongly
believe that they will be safely cheering the Faithful and Courageous
Tribulation Saints from the Heavenly sidelines.
Matt 24:9-13: Jesus says, (During the Great Tribulation) "Then you will be
handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all
nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the Faith and
will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and
deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of
*MOST* (THE GREAT APOSTASY) will grow cold, but he (The Called, Chosen &
Faithful-Rev 17:14b) who stands firm to the End will be saved." Matt
24:29-31: Jesus says, "Immediately after the distress of those (1260)
days.... The stars will fall from the sky.... At that time the sign of the
Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will
mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with
power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a loud *TRUMPET
CALL* (See I Thess 4:16; I Cor 15:52 & Rev 11:15,18), and they will gather
His elect from the 4 winds, (Mk 13:27b adds:) from the ends of the earth to
the ends of the Heavens!!" And so JESUS was a *POST-TRIB PROPHET just as
Daniel was in Dan 7:21,22;25-27; and Paul in 2 Thess 2:1-9 and John in Reb
14:9-16.
