Object: Documented proof of Owd's hypocritical double standards and slander
Consider this: based on the text of Revelation 19-20, I conclude
Christ will reign with the saints for a thousand years, on earth, and
call it the "millennial" (thousand year) reign:
See article: 44791b36$0$24281$88260bb3@free.teranews.com
In response to posts like this, Owd goes on a slander campaign, to the
effect the millennial reign of Christ is a Satanic lie, and that he's
proven this because the word "millennial" (even though I never claimed
the word "millennial" was in the Bible, and he knows it) is not in the
Bible (see article: 11sdemff5tm0rf2@corp.supernews.com, and
http://tinyurl.com/hzs44):
For example:
122upo75v4kpib8@corp.supernews.com:
Pulpitfire:

I don't know what your Revelation 20 says, but mine says the saints
will "reign with Christ for a thousand years". That's a millennial
reign of Christ on this earth,

[Now, did I say Revelation 20 says "millennial reign of Christ"? No,
I did not. I said it says "reign with Christ for a thousand years",
and that this is a "millennial reign".]
What was Owd's response?:
Owd:

Perhaps you would be so kind as to underline in MY Bible where it
says in YOUR Bible "that's a millennial reign of Christ on this
earth,"

See, Those words ...( That's a millennial

reign of Christ on this earth, )

ARE NOT in the God's Word!

They are not in your Bible, and they are not in my Bible, and
they are not in any Bible EVER printed!!

Now since those words were NOT written by John, THEN YOU ARE
ADDING WORDS TO JOHN'S WORDS, *AND* you are adding the plagues of
the visions to yourself.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the
prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things,
God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book"

Now I tell you again, you have called the plagues that are
written in Revelation onto your own head.

There, did you see that? Because the words I used ("That's a
millennial reign of Christ on this earth"), and which *Owd* decided to
slap quote marks on (even though I never said those words were a quote
from the Bible), Owd pretends he has refuted my claims, and that the
plagues of God's word will be called down upon my head for adding to
the Scriptures.
Then, what does Owd claim the "thousand years" means? He infers it is
the "Renaissance":

Owd:

Because the release of Satan from the pit is the same event as the release of
the conqueror of the First Seal, we must ask, "When was the Thousand Year
Reign of the Saints?" Rev. 20:4-6.

Examine human events for evidence: It is not possible to establish an exact
date for Satan's imprisonment. However, by examining the history of mankind
and the Church it becomes clear Satan's war against Judah and the Church
became more and more severe after A.D. 70, finally reaching its peak in about
800 or 900. At about that time, the depth of the Dark Ages, mankind's slip
into darkness halted, then reversed. Then, in about 1200, the period known as
the Renaissance began, which reached its brightest hour with the printing of
the King James Bible in 1611.

So there is some evidence that Satan was missing from Earth for some part of
recent history, which allowed man's renaissance. We can also see evidence of
his release from the pit.

Now, then, Owd claims I am a satanic liar, and that the plagues of
God's word will fall on me, because I said that when the saints "reign
with Christ for a thousand years", that's a "millennial reign", even
though I never said the words "millennial reign" were in the Bible.
But when he claims the thousand years were fulfilled in the
"Renaissance", not only is it o.k. for him to do what he calls the
plagues of God's word on others for, but then, he has the audacity to
call you a false accuser, since he never said that word occurred in
the Bible, even though no one accused him of claiming that word was in
the Bible!

The doctrine of 'the rapture' is a lie of Satan... and if you
will not abandon this lie, if you will not stop adding words to
God's Word, then when the Saints are resurrected you will be one
who is watching us rise to meet Him.

Owd has done similar things, if people use the word "trinity",
"rapture", etc. In each case, the person is asked to furnish a verse
of Scripture, and post it between two lines, that contains those exact
words they have used (which Owd randomly selects from their posts,
even though they never said those exact words were found in the
Bible). If there is no verse in the Bible that has those words in it,
then Owd slanders them to the effect they have been proven satanic
liars, and will have God's plagues come down on them for things to the
Bible.
Or again, see this example, taken from article:
11sdemff5tm0rf2@corp.supernews.com:
[Here, Owd goes on an indignant rant to the effect of how the
"millennial" reign is a lie of Satan, because those words are not
found in the Bible]

Take a marker and underline the exact phrase, "the Lord will return to earth
and rule for a Millennium."

Not there? I did a search of 13 Bibles (Darby, KJV, NKJV, NIV, Good News, ASV,
NLT and others) of His Word and could not find it.

Well, try using a pen to underline that exact phrase "Christ will return to
establish a Kingdom on this Earth and reign for a thousand years."

Not there?

Well, try this: Underline the words "Christ will reign for a thousand years."

Not there?

O.K., Underline "Millennial Reign."

Can't find it?

Well, let's try "a thousand years."

I searched 13 versions (translations and interpretations) of the Bible and 6
commentaries for “thousand years.” I found 9 places in various translations
where the term “thousand years” does appear; All of them are in: Ps 90:4, Ecc
6:6, Peter and Rev 20, --and not one of them say Christ will establish a
physical kingdom on this earth and reign for a millennium.

You may want to consider the question, "Where is it written?" If you can't
underline it, it is not there. You will not find "millennial reign" anywhere
in God's Word. I searched for "millennial reign" and found it in 6
commentaries. However, not one gave a scripture to support that doctrine where
it is actually stated--every one of them offered it as an "interpretation" or
explanation of the scripture WITHOUT ITS BEING THERE. (“What that means is….”)

The only place you will find "millennial reign" is in the doctrine of the
false prophets. The Doctrine of the "Millennial Reign" is a lie of Satan.
These false prophets make up their "millennial reign of Christ" from bits and
pieces of scripture which they "cut and paste" into something which is not
there. They take a word from here, a word or two from there, then proclaim
"what this means is..."

If you can't underline it, it is not there.

Then, when Owd turns right around, and claims things like the
"Renaissance", "World War II", "the flu epidemic", etc., are what the
Bible means, and someone asks him to post a passage that contains
those words, he says they are false accusers because he never said
those words were in the Bible. Now, is this, or is this not one of
the most ignorant, idiotic, blatant, shameless, bold-faced examples of
stark raving hypocrisy you have ever seen, or not?
--
Christ died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead.
Rely on this finished work alone for salvation (1 Cor. 15:1-3;
Eph. 2:8-10).
